Sammy and Dr. Jacobson were great from check in to check out. Made me feel welcome and like family not just another dentist patient.

Did a root canal reconstruction on me, I provided insurance, and they never once hinted at my insurance not covering, 2 months later I was hit with a 1000$ bill and a collections warning. This man is a crook, and his business is shady. He will steal every dollar he can from you and not tell or inform you of outstanding balance until collections is 10 days away. Wouldn't go back if the service was free.

My husband was referred here by his primary dentist. He had pain and his dentist couldn’t find the problem. So they did a CT and Pulp Vitality test. Both were negative! They told my husband they couldn’t find the reason for the pain either. We just ended up paying $127.99. With triple insurance. Not once did they let him know prior to doing the testing that the insurance would not pay!!!! All I am saying is it would be nice to know in advance, So patients can decide to pay that amount. Especially when they still didn’t get any answers. Billing is a joke. They charge several financial charges while waiting for insurance to pay their portion. Also send us threats about sending to collections. Today is June 8, last insurance processed the end of May we haven’t even got the last explanation of benefits and we get a 10 day notice! I was really nervous because of my last root canal from a different dentist. His staff and he put me at ease. Explained everything, very personable and professional. No pain at all! TOTALLY RECOMMEND HIM!!

Dr Jacobson is awesome, I was having a tooth ache and couldn't get into my normal dentist and Dr Jacobson was able to get me in and cleared his schedule to get me in. I was very impressed with Dr Jacobson, he is really nice and personable and made sure he fixed my tooth problem so it wouldn't hurt. Dr Jacobson is very professional and did a great job, very thorough and made sure that I was happy with the work before I left. I would recommend this dentist and office to anyone. I had a complicated root canal that required specialist attention. I’m a really nervous patient so I was very apprehensive. However I was pleasantly surprised. I felt no pain during or after the procedure which is a first for me and Dr. Jacobson did a phenomenal job. His staff are also very caring with reminder calls and even calling afterwards to check on you. For those reviewers complaining about billing and out of network charges etc., that’s unfortunate you had that experience. Can I suggest to anyone seeking treatment to take personal responsibility in calling the office, verifying they take your insurance and obtaining an estimate of costs. Likewise call your insurance company and verify this and document those conversations. That’s just common sense and accountability. Like the other reviews, good Dr. service with nightmare office staff and billing. My insurance told me they billed 8 claims for one visit/service! Told us we were in-network at time of service but then found out we were out of network. As most are aware a good dental practice is meticulous about letting you know what is covered and what was owed prior to leaving their office at time of service. Not this office. Received TWO bills on the same day in the mail. One stating what I had owed as insurance in-network and another higher one showing us out of network with no contracted price. Guess which one I got stuck paying? The higher one. Was told because of being “out of network there was no longer a contracted price they had to abide by.” Bad communication all around and IMO shady business practices. Thankfully I have never had a root canal before so I don’t really have anything to compare my experience with but I have been to dentists, orthodontist and oral surgeons before and I have to say that hands down my experience with Dr. Jacobsen and his staff was the best. Seriously I went in dreading all of the things I have imagined when you think about a root canal and it was the absolute opposite. They did everything possible to make sure I was comfortable, well informed of what was going on and it was over before I knew it. Even when Dr. Jacobsen warned me of a little discomfort here or there it was nearly non existent. I almost wanted to say “is that it?” When it was over. Thank you so much for the great service. I would recommend Dr. Jacobsen and his team to anyone. Probably an odd thing to thank someone for giving you a root canal but in all honesty I was very impressed and would be amiss if I didn’t express my gratitude. Dr. Jacobson and his staff are fantastic! They are all very friendly and personable. Dr. Jacobson did a root canal for me and he informed me of everything that he was doing. The entire process went quickly and I woke up the next day with no pain at all. I highly recommend Dr. Jacobson.

This is the best office I have been to! My husband got two treatments ,one was a Re-treatment that Dr. Jacobson fixed up from a previous dentist and another was one that was keeping my husband but all hours of the night. My husband is terrified of the dentist but he said the staff and the Dr were great. He also mentioned the Dr gives the best shots haha. Doctor Jacobson has performed 5 root canals on me and I have never had one single problem with any of them. My first root canal I had a regular dentist perform and it was not a good experience to say the least so I went to Jacobson to get it fixed and have never let any other doctor work on me when it comes to a root canal. I had a root canal today and it was painless! Also the procedure was not uncomfortable because of clever measures to hold mouth open and a means to keep water, etc from dropping into mouth. It was also interesting as Dr. Jacobson explained what was going on as he worked on the tooth. He was very particular with questions about circumstance. Very professional and not uncomfortable and a beautiful job.

Great Endodontist. but I just received a bill from collections because the staff didn't communicate with me. I had set up an automatic billing with his staff and they told me it was all taken care of. 3 months later collections is after me and now I owe all the late fees and the collection fees that are $200+ on top of my current bill. Very frustrated. When talking to the office about the miss communication they told me it's out of their hands and can't do anything about it. Wonderful experience with this office! I've had root canals before and didn't have the greatest experience but the endodontist was great and the staff was friendly. I was in and out within an hour and my dentist said he did a great job. Very minimal pain!

I would NOT use Mr Jacobsen for a root canal. He didn't stand behind his work. He charged me $ 700.00 just to re look at a root canal he did that failed in the past. He is also very expensive. About 1200 for a root canal. He also uses a bit he bought from CAL Ranch to keep my mouth open. I asked him to not contact my dentist but he did anyway. He can be trusted in my opinion .

Great endodontist! Approachable, answers even the silliest questions patiently, concerned about patient's pain management, excellent work, recommended by my dentist for the trickiest of procedures.

Sad I have to give him such a low rating. He did a great job, but his staff and billing SUCK! I have contacted them several times. When I was referred to his office and called for an appointment, I asked if they were a plan provider for EMI. They said they called my insurance and gave me an amount to pay saying that was all I was going to have to pay. Then I started receiving bills in the mail saying I owed them another $321.78. I called the office, they would not budge, said this is what I owed. Would not let me talk to Dr. Jacobson. Why would I owe more money if I paid when I was there? I would have found another provider if he wasn't on my insurance. I have changed before for this, why wouldn't I have changed this time? BEWARE! Sad I have to give him such a low rating. Have been a patient of Dr. Jacobson for a few years now. From my first initial meeting, he and his staff made me feel very welcome and at ease. Would highly recommend Dr. Jacobson!

This was my first time meeting Dr Jacobsen. I have a lot of anxiety about dental procedures. From the time I got there, to the time I left they explained everything! They asked ME to tell them what my concerns were. I felt they'd been she care of me! He has a Very efficient diagnostic process, and with the explanations, He took care of my fears! (Oh yes, and my tooth). I left feeling secure that I was where I needed to be and they'd take good care of me during my recovery as well! Thank you ??

Dr. Jacobson explained every process thoroughly so that I knew everything that was happening. He was extremely gentle and took a lot of the fear out of getting a root canal. He made sure that I felt no pain even though in the past I have been difficult to numb. I would highly recommend Dr. Jacobson as an endodontist!

They made you feel welcome. They were really nice and made sure you doing ok through out the procedure of working on your teeth or a root canal.

My 14 year old daughter needed a root canal over the Christmas holiday. Dr Jacobson and his team got her right in and treated a difficult second molar root canal. The tooth had a very curved root. My daughter was nervous to have the root canal. Dr Jacobson was very patient with her and had her smiling by the end of the appointment. I highly recommend Dr Jacobson. He got me in for an urgent root canal and made me feel like a priority.

I was in a lot of pain, and the staff got me in the same day I called. Dr. Jacobson was so good at answering my questions. I was having referred pain so every tooth on the right side, top and bottom was screaming pain. Dr. Jacobson started me on an antibiotic to help localize the pain. It worked and the next day they got me in for a root canal on a top wisdom tooth that was functioning as a 2nd molar. Dr. Jacobson made sure I was as comfortable as possible through the whole procedure, even taking extra time administering the anesthesia so it wouldn't smart so much. There was a pillow under my neck and they propped my mouth open with something on the opposite side from my root canal that allowed my jaw to relax. It took about an hour. There was no bruising or swelling, and it only took Motrin and a few days before I was back to normal. Dr. Jacobson has a calmness about his demeanor and takes great care of his patients in a professional and timely manner. Even though his office is 'upscale', his prices are reasonable.
