Boris Leibel is just a terrible "doctor". More precisely, this is not a doctor, but a bribe taker who looks into the pocket of patients and is interested only in one thing - to pump money from them, as well as from their insurance. As a specialist, he is worthless. As a person-also terrible, arrogant, rude and dishonest. I'll never go to him again, and I don't recommend it to anyone. A terrible disappointment. Dr. Leybel is the absolute best, he was able to alleviate my pain in one visit and I will be forever grateful! I hurt my back in the gym and was in a great deal of discomfort, no amount of stretching was helping. Dr. Leybel has hands of gold! I am now back to working out and it was all thanks to Dr. Leybel!

Dr. Leybel's receptionist is the most unprofessional and disrespectful human. She speaks down to the patients of the office and is the reason I would never go to this office again or refer anyone to see Dr. Leybel. She needs to hear this...In a world where you can be anything, be kind!

Dr. Leybel is a dedicated, knowledgeable and caring pain management specialist. His care has alleviated the worst of my arthritis and tendinitis symptoms and has indefinitely delayed any need for additional surgery! I honestly don't know what I would do without Dr. Leybel; his treatments have given me newfound mobility and a way to enjoy life's daily activities pain free. Thank you for giving me the gift of a pain free lifestyle.

I have been suffering from fibromyalgia and debilitating migraines ever since the birth of my son. I've seen many doctors but the only one that actually helped me was Dr. Leybel! He was the only one who took time to sit with me and do a thorough analysis of all my symptoms. I never felt rushed or ignored. Instead he truly listened and empathized, then recommended a course of treatment that actually works! Under his care I have made significant improvement and now live a life of hope and activity instead of dread at the next loud noise or pungent smell. Thank you Dr, Leybel

I have been seeing Dr Leybel and occasionally Dr Briskin for severe Lumbar issues that had been plagueing me for months. As of my last appointment I finally received some relief, as a result of my third epidural. I was ecstatic. I have always paid my co-pay and any other monies due. I just received a call from his receptionist stating that as of today, they do not take my insurance anymore and they were cancelling my July 8th follow up appointment. It was a cold, "Too bad for you" phone call and there is nothing they can do. I would think that Dr. Leybel would have taken the time himself to see how I was doing and explain what was happening. I am extremely disappointed in this man who I thought truly had his patients best interests at heart. I suppose it WAS just about the money.

I went to my appointment and was told by the staff that I have to Pay upfront $150 for the visit plus cost of the shots because I have a high deductible that has not been met. Upon receiving EOB they will reimburse me if I overpaid. I thought I went to the doctor, not the retail business. What about ethic and purpose of being doctors? I see other doctors with my insurance and never had such experience before. I left office without my shots and any help because I did not had any money with me that day! Giving 2 stars since Dr.Leybel and Dr.Briskin are really good. This is in case you eventually see them. However, the pain you will incur before that lucky moment (and after that), dealing with their office stuff and the time waiting in line may become an insurmountable challenge for many. And even if you did it once you may not want to go thru it again (even if doctor helps you!!). All other comments about rudeness and extra payments are true. Ridiculous they can not hire a normal stuff!

Dr. Leybel is one of the best doctors I have seen. I have seen him for lumbar pain issues and recently for severe neck spasms. I had significant relief within two visits. Made an appointment w him to see him for first time after checking if they take my insurance. After waiting for 15 minutes in the room I was advised by the staff that they have to charge me $450 in advance for the visit because my insurance has a high deductible that has not been met. I left the office without being seen by this unethical doctor who I wasted my time with.

I saw several doctors to cope with chronic headaches and throbbing in my head. Dr. Leybel administered a homeopathic remedy in the correct locations (key) which helped to boil down a problem that was two years in the making. He was better at diagnosis than the New York Headache Center, but the NYHC administers the treatments now (insurance clearance was already made) - but I instructed them where to put the injections.
