Anyone who reads Dr Raggio’s Bio will understand why going to Birmingham or Atlanta is no longer necessary for Botox, fillers or other facial plastic surgery. I moved to Montgomery from New York and have been to various plastic surgeons in the top of their field. Dr. Raggio has given me the best contouring and results of any facial procedures that I have had in the last 30 years. I can’t recommend him highly enough and anyone who utilizes his services won’t be disappointed. His office is comfortable and inviting and his staff is very efficient, welcoming and accommodating. I had an amazing experience with Dr. Raggio when he performed a revision septoplasty for me on February 24th. I was basically unable to breathe through my right nostril due to a collapsed nasal valve, and sleeping had become very uncomfortable for me due to constantly waking up. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Raggio was very understanding and thorough. He goes through every step of the process with you and makes sure you are comfortable and meets your expectations. My surgery and recovery was painless since he gave me plenty of instructions for both pre- and post-care processes. Since this was a revision, I knew what to expect, but this time the recovery was so much easier which is not usually the case for a revision surgery. I now can say from experience that Dr. Raggio is an extremely talented surgeon that goes above and beyond! Not only has my breathing already improved tremendously, but he was also able to fix the cosmetic issues my previous surgeon had caused. This has greatly increased both my confidence and quality of life.

The BEST experience! From the consultation to the procedure, Dr. Raggio was amazing. I was initially very nervous, but his calm demeanor and care helped me feel confident about the procedure. Dr. Raggio did an excellent job with my nasal surgery. The procedure corrected four different issues. Dr. Raggio gave a clear explanation of the work to be done, how to prepare before the procedure, and what to expect as far as recovery. If you may be considering nasal/sinus surgery, I would highly recommend Dr. Raggio and his team.

Dr. Raggio literally saved my life. Prior to his diagnosis and the surgery he performed, my health was failing precipitously. I spent over a year going to various specialist to determine why I had multiple medical issues at a "young-ish" age. Turns out, that due to an injury I sustained as a child, my breathing was severely impacted, which in-turn degraded my whole system over many years. Doctor Raggio caught it, knew what to do, and fixed it. Within 3 months of surgery all my other symptoms had ceased, and I was actually improving across the board. I had rhinoplasty and septoplasty with Dr. Raggio several months ago. From my experience, I can tell that Dr. Raggio and his team are very responsive your needs and questions. I suffered some breathing problems for a long time and my nose was congested for majority of the time which reduces your life quality significantly. Everything went perfectly. He even took extra time to make sure my result was exactly what I wanted. I had a large keloid removed from the front of my ear. Dr. Raggio and his staff was exceptional. I was made comfortable and was informed of everything happening during the entire procedure. I did not feel rushed at all; Dr raggio took his time, answering all of my questions and covering all of my concerns. Dr. Raggio performed a Rhinoplasty for my teenage daughter. She had a problematic deviated septum and a crooked nose from a break when she was younger. I had one corrected 30 years ago, so I had an idea of what she would be experiencing. I was delighted in the advancements, but it could not match how much I appreciated Dr. Raggio. He is a master of his trade. We were both fully aware of what was to come and what our expectations should be. Dr Raggio asked questions and dialogued with my daughter and I both about the procedure and the vision he had for her. His thoroughness with seeing and planning what needed to be done for her and his ability and willingness to share that with us was so appreciated. He could certainly be held as a standard for other surgeons regarding his demeanor and communication skills. He also gave us thorough instructions for post opp. Just 10 days out of surgery we were able to see the results of his skill set. She did not have black eyes and she had minimal swelling. We could already see the new straightness and definition of her nose. What touched me most as a mother was after he removed the brace and cleaned the area Dr. Raggio asked her to take a deep breath through her nose. As she breathed in her eyes widened and the sincerest smile spread across her face as she began to giggle. He asked her if she remembered a time when she could take in a breath like that and she replied, "Never!" I think we were both a bit speechless at how beautiful his work was and how well she could breathe. He made it straight again and just ever so refined for her features. I cannot leave without mentioning that the entire process was a delight and full of blessings at each moment. The team in his office from the rave recommendation of him by Dr. Borg, the people at the front desk, his nurses, and even the insurance filer were each so pleasant, helpful, and kind. The Jackson Surgery Center staff was amazing and made it all a breeze. The anesthesiologist and her team took time to speak with me and answer questions and ease my concerns. Dr. Raggio communicated with us prior to the procedure, his nurse called me twice during, and I even caught him at my daughter's bedside after the procedure checking in on her and he spoke with me again there, even after calling me once the procedure was complete. My daughter did have a negative reaction to the anesthesia when we were home and Dr. Raggio responded quickly so that we could help her feel better as soon as possible. We were recommended by another doctor in town to see Dr. Raggio for a septorhinoplasty for our teenage daughter. Dr. Raggio was extremely thorough in explaining the procedure and after surgery care. He was so patient with our questions and concerns, and gave us as much time as we needed for clarification. After just one appointment, we felt very comfortable in our decision to have him be the surgeon we trusted for our daughter. Nobody else could have eased our worries so well, and we decided to move forward with the surgery just a few weeks afterwards. On the day of the surgery, the nurses and anesthesiologist were very polite and took the time to answer all of our last minute concerns. The septorhinoplasty went very well and the week after surgery, thanks to Dr. Raggio’s advice and suggestions, was very comfortable and easy for our daughter. He was also prompt in responding to our questions after hours during the recovery period. After taking off the cast, my daughter exclaimed that she could not remember a time when she had had such a deep, full breath and the joy on her face was visible. I’ve always been so self conscious about how small my lips were. I have two coworkers that have had lip fillers done by Dr. Raggio & I fell in love with how they turned out.
