Physical medicine and rehabilitation, also referred to as rehabilitation medicine, is the medical specialty concerned with diagnosing, evaluating, and treating patients with physical disabilities. Pain management is often an important part of the role of the physiatrist. For diagnosis and evaluation, a physiatrist may include the techniques of electromyography to supplement the standard history, physical, x-ray and laboratory examinations. The physiatrist has expertise in the appropriate use of therapeutic exercise, prosthetics (artificial limbs), orthotics and mechanical and electrical devices.

I'll spare the details but if she shows up in your hospital room send her away and request a real doctor.
Dr. Ainhorn is rude and obnoxious. And she doesn't read the chart. she was in the room for less than 45seconds and had already insulted my children who weren't bothering her, interrupted me when I attempted to answer her question about my ailments, told me she was going to order an MRI even though I just had one 5 days before and had given them a copy. She has a horrible bedside manner and knows nothing about multiple sclerosis which is in part the cause of my ailment. I don't recommend her.
