Dr. Bhumy Dave Heliker

Dr. Heliker treated my stage III anterior-wall predominant pelvic organ prolapse with skill and personalized care. She listened to my preferences and the treatment she performed has held up. I am over two years out from the procedure to repair the prolapse and I walk (1+ miles) and dancercise every day. I had a few post operative issues and she and the staff (at UCI) were very available and the team exceeded my expectations. She is the best!

The procedure my wife had was a total success. Dr. Heliker corrected a problem she had for years. Liberated is a great word for how we feel. So kind, compassionate, and caring. Took the time to answer all our questions clearly and made us feel safe before and after surgery.

I adore Dr. Dave. She cares so much. Before surgery, everything was explained to me in a lot of detail. I felt very safe and well cared for. The surgery was great and the recovery was fast. She was so responsive after surgery. She really made sure everything was easy and perfect.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Dave and her staff. She is very detailed with the procedure and made me feel comfortable about the whole thing. She checked on me before and after surgery. She even called me to check up. I would recommend her office very highly.

Amazing care and attention.

Please do not trust this provider with your health. I regret ever going to UCI. She refuses to continue previously existing treatment plans from other physicians. She will not do anything to treat you until pushed and her ideas are short acting or non effective treatments. Some prescriptions never got called in. She gave me advice contradicting my PT treatment plan. Worst of all, when my interstim leads broke, I, the patient, was blamed for my on going bladder pain and refused a revision surgery

I went to Dr. Dave as a follow up recommendation for my interstim and pelvic pain. In terms of my pelvic pain, she had no ideas on how to help. I had to ask for everything, and a lot of my previous treatments were shut down. Shes not willing to work with other doctors and worst all of all, she does not listen to you as a patient. My interstim has 2 leads that are malfunctioning so I kept coming back to have my programming readjusted because they refuse to give me a revision surgery. The last time I went in, blame was placed on me for this horrific on going bladder pain. Absolutely disgusting.
