I'm 78 years old and for the first 50 years of my life I spent every available hour in the sun. Instead of using sunscreen in my early years, I did like most pre-baby boomers and coated myself with Baby Oil. For those reasons, I have three decades of experience with at least 15 different dermatologists in different states. With one exception, I have no complaints with any of them, however, one of them shines out like a diamond in the rough, and that's Dr. Betty Hinderks Davis. And it's not just Dr. Davis that shines, but it's everyone associated with her - from receptionists to her many other doctors and assistants - whom I've encountered in three of her offices during the last six or seven years. If my review doesn’t convince you to give Regency Dermatology a try, then I have ONE more thing I would like to say: 1.) Believe it or not, when you call them, you actually get a human being on the phone. You don’t have to push any numbers, and you don’t have to listen to a recording.

If my review doesn’t convince you to give Regency Dermatology a try, then I have two more things I would like to say: 1.) Believe it or not, when you call them, you actually get a human being on the phone. You don’t have to push any numbers, and you don’t have to listen to a recording that tells you how much your call means to them. When they’re busy, a receptionist will ask if you can wait for a short time, and it always has been just that – ‘a short time’. They actually ‘do’ care about you. Imagine that! 2.) Also, they have the best ground Starbucks Coffee (at least at the Mountain View location in Surprise) that I’ve ever tasted. And if you’re old like me, the receptionists will show you how the machine works. Sadly, like me, you may forget her instructions, and she may have to show you again on your next visit as well. NOTE: This website doesn't have the newest Regency Dermatology location on Mountain View Blvd in Surprise as an option. Please note that it's the location that's closest to our home and therefore it's the one we now frequent.

Dr. Davis performed the excision of a patch of skin on my face where I had a grade 0 melanoma skin cancer. Her colleague at Regency Specialties, Plastic Surgeon Dr. Mussman 2 days later closed the wound and it has healed perfectly. I recently had a follow up visit with Dr. Davis 3 months later, and will for the next year return every 3 months because the chances of another melanoma increases. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Davis, and everyone at Regency. If you have a history of skin cancer these are the doctors you need and want.

It was my second visit to regency dermatology but the first time seeing Davis. On my first visit I was diagnosed with having cactus glochids in my skin but I was not having a severe flare up at that time. Less than a month later I did and went to see the doctor closest to my home and I have paid daily since then. After telling Davis what was wrong she looked at me a total of 5 seconds and said all she saw was a scratch and she could give me a steroid shot for my scratch and if I did not agree with her treatment I could go somewhere else. She then asked me who all I had sen for treatment of this scratch . Since she completely ignored what I said and the diagnosis of the other regency dermatologist I was not comforted by her treatment at all. I got up and left. She had me dismissed from the practice taking the only help I had found in 2 years that I got fromthe first dr. She put in ny records I almost hit someone with my bookbag when I left not that she threatened me with kicking me out

I would wish that anyone who would see her would get a second opinion of your lab. Also the plastic surgeon did a awful job on my leg. Got cellulitis in the wound, and they were not interested and seeing it or talking about it. This is only my second review and I’ve never done a negative review. I beg you to get a second opinion. Thank you

Dr. Davis is amazing. I was so nervous for surgery and she made me feel comfortable and relaxed, explaining evedy step along the way. Excellent doctor! And the staff at Regency is top notch, from the front desk, billing, P.A.'s and assistants. Love this place!
