Dr. Bernard Joseph Durante

My daughter waited over 45 minutes AFTER her appointment time to see this doctor for chronic TMJ. He felt her neck-didn't ask for xrays or films. NEVER felt her jaw or ordered xrays or anything. Made her incredibly uncomfortable, told her to put popsickle sticks in her mouth and try to open her jaw. Made inappropriate comment about her being agitated - of course she would be after waiting almost an hour past appointment time. Said she shouldn't get "botox" as treatment because "a pretty young girl would not want to ruin her face". Totally inappropriate and downright creepy.

I highly recommend Dr. Durante. Have been with him since at least 2014 at Plymouth ENT. Took out half my thyroid and I see him yearly follow ups. He is kind, thorough, and will answer all of your questions. that crappy review for office policy someone left has nothing to do with his medical abilities.

Dr. Durante diagnosed and effectively treated a two year long sinus infection that had not been successfuly treated by my primary care physician and many urgent care offices. He was caring, diligent and explained the details of treatment, and best of all, prescribed treatment that worked.

My husband just went in to see Dr. Durante and the front office refused to allow him to be seen because at the moment he didn't have any checks or money on him to pay the $40 co-pay. What kind of insane policy is that? And if they insist on having that insane policy they should let EVERY patient know at the time of booking their appointment. Horrible horrible practice.

Dr. Durante made me feel very comfortable and explained everything pertaining to the problem with my ear. I highly reccomend him.

Dr. Durante is the laziest doctor. Doesn't take the time to investigate what could be wrong. Super cynical and pretentious. I've never had a doctor role their eyes at my symptoms. And he didn't feel embarrassed when test results showed something was wrong. Huge waste of time!
