I am a physician and a subspecialist. I am not taken in by physician "razzle dazzle" such as overtesting, spending inordinate amounts of time with patients to make them "feel better" or fancy waiting rooms with fish tanks. I am thoroughly impressed with Dr Ross. In short, he is intelligent, well informed and he cares. He gives it to you straight, is easy to talk to, practical and is up to date on the latest treatments. My daughter had a status epileptics seizure and he showed genuine care and concern and has given her exemplary care. Doctor Ross has helped my son and my family for the last 3 years. He is really good at putting your mind at ease and making sure your child is safe. Highly recommend him to anyone

Lorena, Tasha and Dr. Meddles were tremendously kind and helpful. The flexibility in getting us in was amazing Dr. Meddles was very understanding to the “mom” concerns. She was very understanding and patient with me. I would definitely recommend them to any parent whose child is an athlete.

I have to say, Dr. Ross is an outstanding neurological doctor. He is AMAZING at what he does. He doesn't make you feel wrong for not knowing a lot, you never feel rushed when in his office, he always makes sure you are heard and gives you the opportunity to choose for YOUR child; instead of telling you what you should do for your child. He never makes you feel unimportant and crazy enough, he is always right! Haha . I am so skeptical about seizure medication with the side effects and all that comes with it. But, Dr. Ross truly only recommends a medicine if he knows or strongly feels it will positively effect your child. He has been my son's doctor from the very beginning. Dr. Ross treated my daughter for unexplained dizziness and discovered a neurological cause. He was SO personable, thorough and very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and took the time to explain each thing to my daughter when she asked for clarification. We never felt rushed and he was sure to answer every question we had. Not only is he a great neurologist, he's a great doctor period! Additionally, his office staff is friendly and helpful. We are so happy we found Dr. Ross! I think that Dr. Ross leaves a lot to be desired in terms of his bedside manner and his approach to medicine. He doesn't seem to be up to date with the latest medical breakthroughs. I mentioned several things during our appointment that he disregarded even though I felt like they should be further looked into. This field doesn't seem right for him. Maybe he had a bad day. I don't know. But I won't bring my child back to see him.

Our daughter has been a patient of Dr. Ross for 10 years. His kindness, professional & medical guidance, time spent with our family at each appointment & ability to answer every question we throw at him is remarkable. We would highly recommend him for his pediatric epilepsy speciality.

Dr. Ross was a calm and consistent presence during my son's NICU stay. He was a careful listener to our concerns and patient in explaining his choices with my son's care. He did an excellent job merging what he knew was best for my son with my desires as a mom. We saw him almost daily during the most challenging time we've faced as a family and during a global pandemic. His care and attention to our needs was excellent.

We love him! Great bedside manner. Kind and open minded. He listens to the patient and we just are grateful for him.

Dr. Ross is so thorough and personable and caring. He spent over an hour with me and my child going over test results. His staff is easy to get in touch with- call, press one button and boom i talk to his assistant and can email anytime. we feel in great care here.

Dr. Ross is a very experienced Nero, he always has a answer for even the rarest conditions or situations. He never takes the easy way out he goes above and beyond all my expectations when dealing with the delicate issues of pediatric neurology.

I have never come across such a rude and condescending physician in my life. He interrupted us, didn’t listen to what we were telling him and had the worst attitude I have ever seen in a healthcare provider. I actually cannot believe this person is a pediatric doctor. I would never take my child back to this man and I would suggest that you consider his low ratings before you do.

Dr. Ross actually listens to patients and their families. He doesn't medicate first then look unless absolutely necessary. He's honest and genuine about treatment options and what he feels would be most beneficial for the patient while respecting the patients right too choose their course of action. I felt heard for the first time regarding the issues I've been fighting for years to get answers. He didn't shut me down and act like he's Superior to me because of his position. He is the best doctor a child could have!

Dr. Ross spent so much time with me and my son discussing his thoughts on my son’s condition that even went beyond neurology or anything I would have expected. I really appreciated and was impressed with his time and attention.

Dr Benjamin Ross is outstanding, my daughter has been seeing him for last 6 years for epilepsy and sleep issues. He is too notch. His office staff is no longer superb but they were for the first 4 years, lately in the past few years its extremely difficult to make a simple medical mgmt appt f/up. you leave messages no one will call you back if they do call you back, then they say they cant fit you in for like 3 mos!! God help you if you ever reschedule, took me over 9 months to finally get in and then on the way I encountered horrendous traffic we live an hour away in normal traffic. I called to be courteous and immediately the tone changed citing office policy tone and telling me we will have to reschedule you since its later than 10 mins. I was literally there 14 minutes later but there was NO parking never is any parking. So while Dr Ross is Amazing and so worth the wait and hassle, be prepared to not be treated w/ respect. Neither did either front lady greet my child, the patient.

Didn’t help at all for 8 years. Came to UC Health and within 3 months I’m seizure free. Wasted my time

Dr. Ross and the staff at RMC Neuro took great care of us after a very scary health emergency. We look forward to continuing care with this office. Thanks so much!

As a medical professional, I would not recommend Mr. Ross.

Dr. Ross was condescending and dismissed our concerns. He was unable to answer questions about a medicine he prescribed my daughter. He seemed irritated and rude. We left his practice found another pediatric neurologist whom we love.

My experience with Dr. Ross was not good. My son was admitted to RMC Hospital in September and died one month later due to a complex neuromuscular condition. On our second night in the hospital, three weeks before an official diagnosis was reached through genetic testing, Dr. Ross stopped by our room, pulled out his phone, Googled the condition that would eventually end my child's life and waited while I read. That is how he choose to communicate information. Impersonal and disappointing.

I highly recommend Dr. Ross! He was very caring, supportive, and knew exactly what was going on with our kiddo and most importantly took the time with us, and very thorough.

After waiting an hour past our appointment time our child got a 15 second "exam" consisting of a few bumps with a reflex hammer, a peek in the mouth, and a head measurement. Our concerns were mostly dismissed. After waiting 3 months to get in, it was a very disappointing experience. Stick with children's hospital and stay far from here.

My daughter has complex issues and Doctor Ross is the first doctor to do a scan and find that my child's issues are real and she is not making it up. He gave us the first step in getting answers after 13 years of seeking.

My daughter was able to get in pretty quickly. Dr. Ross was great with her was able to have my concerns addressed. The staff was friendly and professional. Love Rocky Mountain Children's Hospital.

Dr. Ross is an expert who understands complex medical issues. He is thoughtful in his approach and spends a lot of time discussing different treatment options and answering questions. I would highly recommend Dr. Ross!

Beyond disappointing. Not current on research about issues he treats, questioned his own recommendations, treated my child like she wasn't there, and made a huge mistake on the dosage of med prescribed, at my request, as he didn't offer it himself. When the potentially fatal mistake was discovered and corrected by my family MD, he went after him instead of caring about the possible consequences of his error. I would never trust this doctor. I learned more myself and from my family MD.

Dr. Ross, as well as his staff was amazing. The staff was extremely pleasant, and Dr. Ross was very thorough in his explanations, and patient. He was not in a hurry to move on to his next patient, he stayed and made sure we were okay and understood, why his prognosis was what it was.

We know a lot of families looking for a good neurologist and we ALWAYS recommend Dr. Ross! Our daughter has been seeing Dr. Ross since she was 3 months old (she's 6 1/2 now). Our daughter can't communicate but Dr. Ross always talks to her and we like that. He is very kind and is always willing to discuss ALL options and not just what he recommends. Aisha is AMAZING! I can always call or email her with anything I need. She is quick to return a phone call or email. We highly recommend them!!

Seen Dr. Ross in the past went to Children's Hospital Colorado to see a Epileptologist and went back to Dr. Ross should of never left.

Dr. Ross spent a good amount of time with us to figure out the potential causes for my son's severe headaches. In the process, we learned a lot about various causes and how to start managing them. He spoke to my son directly, which helps my son realize that he has to be involved in his own health. In addition, Dr. Ross addresses a separate problem surrounding severe growing pains in his joints. I did not realize they were a neurological issue. Very happy with the visit and staff.

Dr. Ross was unable to answer some basic questions regarding my child's epilepsy. He did not seem confident in his recommendation for treatment. He was over an hour late to our appointment and didn't apologize for the inconvenience. He seemed uninterested in our concerns. I was disappointed with the level of treatment my child and I received from Dr. Ross.
