Had an operation and was told to give the numbness in my foot would subside in 1-3 months- waited 3 months nothing changed -saw dr and was told well it may never go away- but you can return to work- very smart attitude- I have been retired for 12 years (sold all of my businesses). He just turned and walked out!

Great guy, solid staff...

I've had severe pain throughout my body for over 10 years. Turns out I've had a herniated disk. Dr. Fulmer did my ACDF surgery and I have been pain free ever since. Even went back 2 weeks after the procedure. I have been recommending everyone that needs a neurosurgeon to Dr. Fulmer. 100% happy with my care.

Doctor Fulmer did a great job on my back. His office staff is terrible. They messed up my FMLA short term disability paperwork . Admin was absolutely rude for months no listening . I had to do a DR appoint to get attention to the problem/paper work nurses simple mistake which could have been a quick fix turned into a nightmare for over 3 months because of admin wanting to blame me and not actually address problem. I was referred by my previous neurosurgeon, who retired. I had cervical disc surgery in Dec. 2016. Dr. Fulmer was one of 3 doctors who were willing to take a surgery patient from my doctor. Dr. Fulmer did another cervical disc surgery in Dec. 2017. I was extremely surprised when I saw Dr. Fulmer in February, I had a post surgery appointment in January, with his nurse. At that appt. I told the nurse that my voice had not come back. I had experienced hoarseness with my other surgeries but not for this long. She didn't really tell me anything. So when I saw Dr. Fulmer in February, I again mentioned my voice, he did not address the issue. He also released me, which was very surprising since the 2 previous cervical disc surgeries I had, my doctor did not release me for 9-12 months, after doing x rays. A year later, I still was hoarse and my ENT found vocal cord paralysis. He and my primary doctor both said it happened during the surgery Dr. Fulmer performed.

Recently saw Dr. Fulmer about a new symptom I started having which is numbness in my toes, feet and lower legs and also in my right hand/arm. The only thing he said was “do you want to have an MRI?” Several weeks later he had a nurse call me to say the only thing on the MRI was old decompression fractures. I see a pain doctor on a regular basis because after Dr. Fulmer did fusion surgery on my back two years ago I am still in a lot of pain. So I had the MRI info sent to my pain doctor to see what he thought. I got a call today from him saying the MRI showed I have some narrowing in my spine at L3-L4 and would I want to try a pain block? Why didn't Dr. Fulmer say anything about this? I will not EVER go to this doctor again and I recommend that no one else see him either! He doesn’t care if you are in pain unless it is an easy fix that he can do surgery maybe? Dr. Fulmer performed a laminectomy on my lower back in March. As soon as I woke up I knew he had fixed the issue. I went to LSI in Tampa for the same precedure a year earlier. It did not fix my problem, but Dr. Fulmer did. He tried to get me to postpone my surgery and have pain blocks done. After talking with him and my wife for a week or so we decided to do the surgery. I walked out of the recovery room about an hour after the nurse woke me up. No Back Brace, No problems. I am 42 and not 100% pain free, but what Dr. Fulmer worked on is great. Great Surgeon. Fixed what LSI in Tampa could not. Easy to talk to and surgery is last option. Explains everything. He cares about the patient and spends more time with you and asking questions than any other Dr. I have ever seen. I would not hesitate to have him perform another surgery in the future on my back.

He doesn’t care about the issues I’m having. Just says the MRI shows old compression fractures. Doesn’t offer any explanation of why I had a nerve conduction study that showed I have nerve damage in my lower spine. Doesn’t offer to try send me to another doctor that may help me.

Very skilled surgeon. He performed a three level fusion on my neck. I was not hoarse, had no swelling, and minimal pain. I was back into my usual activities within 3 weeks. Very good outcome.

FlDr. Fulmr is a truly great doctor. Even though he is very busy on clinic days, he takes his time to make sure both patient and doctor have a good understanding on all facets of care. I am slowly starting to get back to living my life,not just existing. Thank you so much Dr. Fulmer!!

Dr Fulmer and staff are very compassionate straight forward group. He has helped me regain some of my youth at 40 I don't feel 90 in chronic pain when I walk after back surgery 8 weeks later he did my neck. I'm 3 weeks out of that major surgery ,but desipte healing pain I feel better already. Highly recommend this group!

Dr Benjamin Fuller was a life saver for me with God’s guidance he was able to repair my c5-c6 and stop the pain. Several years ago I had a Cervical fusion done by Dr. Ruiz that never took, after seeing 3 other doctors who said it couldn’t be fixed, Dr. Fulmer took the challenge and by the grace of God, I am out of pain. So grateful for Dr. B. Fulmer - God Bless You! M. McClendon

I crushed L1 in a MVA Sept. 2016 was carried to St. Vincent’s ER by ambulance and unfortunately was assigned to Benjamin Fulmer. He ordered a huge white brace put on me by staff but did not discuss anything with me. Sent me to PT while I was in excruciating pain. Never ordered a MRI and ignored me and my husband when we begged him to do something that I was not healing and the pain was horrific. After 6 weeks of this he just laughed us out of the office and dismissed me. DO NOT GO TO THIS DR.

No Qs here apply to permanent damage by Fulmer &Morris's failure to remove severe spurs impinging nerves at C-4-5. Pre & post-op rad. rpts. His answer re this life-altering gross negligence: "I didn't go back that far," as if anterior approach didn't allow access. I later learned these spurs were far frontal & easily accessible. 4th op. post. b/c of sloppy Fulmer surgery. Impossible to reach these far front spurs from post. Permanent, constant pain & esophageal dismotility. Do not go to there!

I had a pinched nerve neck. Dr Fulmer preformed the surgery and everything went well. I have not had any pain, at all. I have not hadto even take the pain medication. Great Doctor.

Dr Fulmer is the worst doctor ever, please don't use him because he doesn't know what he is doing. I had surgery a month ago, I am in worst shape then before and he is clueless.

He was very to give us options... We did not feel rushed when he met with us. We elected to have surgery and had an exceptional outcome.

Dr. Fulmer has been very helpful in explaining my condition and offering solutions. He is friendly and caring. I put my confidence in him. Surgery was successful. His staff is wonderful and very timely in scheduling appointments. I will consult him for other health related issues in the future. Have already recommended him to friends and family.

He give your options and not just wanting to do surgery. Very easy to talk to about your medical condition
