Dr. Benjamin Daniel Abramowitz

Dr Abramowitz performed cataract surgeries for both my eyes. He and the staff at the Haymarket Surgery Center did a marvelous job. They were helpful, supportive, and reassuring. The eye surgeries went extremely well. Very very pleased with the outcome.

I finally had to have cataract surgery and Dr. Abramowitz was recommended to me. I met with him and after an exam and discussion about lens possibilities, I chose the Vivity Multifocal Toric lens. On June 6 I returned for surgery. Everyone I met was extraordinarily kind and professional. First to the Laser Room to have the lens emulsified and shortly after this point I was sedated with Versed and Fentanyl and the old lens was removed and the new lens inserted but I remember none of it. No pain, no problems and I look forward to the second procedure in two. Dr. Abramowitz and the Dominion Eye Care nurses and staff have my strongest recommendation. I was diagnosed with normal tension open angle glaucoma 8 years ago and I have seen four very good eye specialists along the way, but Dr. Abramowitz was the first one to help me fully understand the beast. Dr Abramowitz is AMAZING. Such a great professional and fabulous Dr. I had an emergency situation and he was great. I had been seeing him every other day then weekly and now slowing down a bit. He pretty much saved me. He is so kind and thoughtful. I wish I could see him for everything.

Dr. Abramowitz is amazing. He diagnosed cataracts in my eyes that no one ever mentioned. He understood my fears, explained everything in detail and performed my surgery. GREAT doctor.

I have Glacoma as a secondary condition due to a retinal obstruction that cannot be corrected. He is the only doctor able to get my eye pressure under control with eye drops. The other person I saw only suggested surgery to lower eye pressure which I did not want to do.

He is a recognized expert in his field and his interaction with my mother continues to be superb. Bottom line: We are very pleased with the quality of medical care she receives from Dr Abramowitz. Here's my proof of satisfaction: Dr Abramowitz recently moved his practice from Woodbridge to Manassas; almost 30 minutes further from my house than his previous practice. I have been seeing Dr. Abramowitz for some serious eye issues now for about 6 months. I highly recommend him to anyone that requires eye care, especially if you have unique problems. I required glaucoma surgery to control my eye pressure. He is very caring, even calling me during his vacation to make sure I was OK. My eye issues will require long term care and assistance, and I thoroughly trust Dr. Abramowitz to take care of me and my eye. Patients come first with him.
