Dr. Barton Borg Thrasher

Dr. Thrasher and team were very professional and thorough. I’m glad they are helping me lead a healthy and happy life

Service sucks. Went to the Collierville location and waited for 1 1/2 hours before leaving. No one even noticed we left. So tried to give them another try at the Oakland location. Little better. Found better. Feel better.

I have had Dr Thrasher as my primary care for many years, but will be changing shorty. I have never been personally seen by Dr Thrasher so I can not address his performance, but can address the performance of his nurse practitioners and administrative staff. During several visits over the past couple of years I was told referrals to specialist were needed and would be made. The referrals as a general rule were never made or only made after several follow up calls from me. I recently dislocated/damaged my shoulder and was assured I would be referred to a specialist. This has still not been done after several calls and promises to call me back with info (I never received any calls). I have no more faith in their ability to provide for my care or the care of my family. Their negligent behavior can longer be tolerated.

Have been going to this Doctor since he came to Oakland TN. Yes he is good. Yes I would send my Family Members to him. The word I am looking for is "Confidence" which I have totally with this doctor.

He is a good listener and cares about people

I received good care and follow-up visits that keep me informed on my general health/annual physicals by the Nurse Practitioners(they listen well). Be kind to the billing clerks to insure that proper coding/billing is done with your insurance. Details do matter on billing, coverage, and payment which influences my choice of health care provided to me. Do not forget to check the billing and coding to avoid unpleasant surprises before your leave the doctor's office. Call your insurance provider if irregular charges appear before this problem gets exacerbated for several months as mine did.

We've seen Dr. Thrasher, Jodie Baumtrog & Mary Spangler. All I can say is they are incredible. This is a wonderful, caring & knowledgeable staff!

Awful. Was supposedly the first appointment after lunch, but waited almost 45 minutes to be seen. Heard the receptionist tell a nurse the doctor was still napping on his couch still. When he came in the room, he mocked my problem, told me no doctors cared about it, and then acted like he had the same thing. Never again.

Dr. Thrasher is always pleasant and upbeat. He listens patiently and answers all of my many questions. He tells me what I need to hear, even though that’s not always what I want to hear. I would definitely recommend him.

Loved the experience. One bad thing: the waiting room smelled like it used to be a vet's office. The entire facility was clean and no smells elsewhere. Maybe the smell was in the tile floor?
