Barry I. Finkelstein

I think Dr. Finklestein is an exceptional physician mainly because of his genuine concern and support for me as a patient. His calm demeanor and his detailed descriptions of my diagnoses along with his bedside manner, have reassured me over the nine years that he has been my podiatrist. Recently, I had a bunion and corn removal procedure, which I swore I would NEVER do because of the negative experiences that many people that I know would tell me about. However, before and after my procedures, Dr. Finklestein and his EXTREMELY CARING STAFF ( esp. Marisol!!) were so emphatic and available for any inquiries I had, even with the smallest complaint they were SO PATIENT with me. I normally don’t write reviews esp. about doctors , but because of Dr. Finklestein and his ENDEARING STAFF , I felt that other potential patients would benefit from my experience. May GOD BLESS and KEEP this outstanding physician and his staff!!!!

I had a good experience at the office, I had some foot pain and the doctor was able to help me but I received a letter from my insurance stating they denied the request for a shoe insert/boot. I had zero knowledge of this and called my insurance immediately. They informed me the office was trying to bill my insurance and got denied for a shoe insert/boot. I didn’t get any insert/orthopedic shoe during my visit or no mentioning of one, at most was a elastic band wrapped around my foot; something I could buy for $4-$10 at Walgreens… I had a good experience but this ruined any future visits with them.

Dr. Barry Finkelstein is a top Podiatrist in NYC . I had a problem with my left foot (large toe). Dr. Finkelstein took the time to thoroughly explain the surgical procedure he was going to perform on 12/1/21. After the procedure he gave me his personal cell number in case I had to reach out to him. I will say it’s been a week and I have had little to no pain. THANK YOU DR. FINKELSTEIN! I had surgery performed by Dr. Finkelstein on 12/1/21, he had to remove a bone and insert two screws on my big toe. It has been a week and I must say little to no pain. Prior to the surgery he explained in detail the entire procedure. After the surgery he provided me with his personal cell phone number in case I needed to get in touch with him. His team at ACES was phenomenal, and his staff in the Bronx provides excellent service. THANK YOU DR FINKELSTEIN ! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !

Went there on November 8th and said what was wrong with my ankles and did nothing!!! I complained said they get me what I needed for 3rd time...still nothing and left messages that was ignored!! 3 separate appointments and over an hour wait to see the doctor for 15mins. They have horrible scheduling skills to make people wait that long. Why make an appointment if you won’t honor the time. Time is important for the patients as well

Being a patient of Dr. Finkelstein has been nothing short of perfect. He genuinely cares about the problem you are coming in with and he listens to all your concerns. My June 2013 I had surgery and had one problem seen. Now I when back for pain on my feet found that I have tendinitis on both , was not able to walk that much and about going up and down stairs it was painful, 5 week later on my follow up no pain on my right foot my left one is getting better not that much pain am able to go up & down stairs with no pain don’t walk with a limp anymore. Dr. Barry Finkelstein was amazing. I had two bunion surgeries done, only two months apart, by him and he was very patient, kind, and answered all my questions. He did a phenomenal job with the surgery and I couldn't be any happier with the results he's given me. My feet look and feel amazing! His staff in both the Bronx and New Jersey locations were great as well. Nina and Pete, the two secretaries there when I went, were very welcoming and helpful. Marisol, the X-Ray technician, was also very helpful and did a great job of making me feel comfortable. Cecilia and Jen, my nurses in the New Jersey location, were awesome and took care of me really well. Always get great treatment here , been coming here for over 10 yrs, The dr.s are all great people and caring, the office staff are all great as well, I strongly suggest if you need a foot Dr. to come to this office.

First of all, he’s not a doctor. He’s more like a magician! He works wonders!! :) You’ll thank me and everyone else that wrote these reviews later. I don’t really review anyone because I’m so busy. But this place really impressed me. My mom has been struggling with pain in both of her heels for the past few months now. I have taken her to see so many doctors, but Dr.Finkelstein so far is the best! What I liked most about this doctor is that knows he’s the best, but he’s still humble about it. And also, he doesn’t just listen to his patients. He ACTIVELY LISTENS. He cares a lot about his patients and is so passionate about what he does. He gave my mom injections in her feet very gently, as well as a brace since she may have torn a ligament. He joked around to make us feel comfortable. He explained the problem in a way I could easily understand it. The staff member a are also very friendly and funny! :D The place is very neat and tidy. I will recommend this doctor to everyone! I had an infected ingrown toenail and needed help right away. I found them online and thankfully they accepted walk ins & health first insurance. The wait wasn’t long either. Dr.Barry I. Finkelstein did the surgical procedure to remove my ingrown toenail within less than 10 minutes. He was amazing. Only 2 needles were given and I felt no pressure at all. Going in I felt anxious due to another time I got the procedure done. It was horrible. I was given 5 needles and felt pressure while she removed the toenail. I love Dr. Finkelstein. He takes great care of my feet! I recommend him to all of my family and friends and will continue to do so. During my recovery after foot surgery he would text me to check on me. You don’t come across doctors that give that personal attention and care that often. He and his staff are AWESOME!

I appreciated being treated by Dr. Finkelstein because of his display of compassion, along with his professional knowledge and treatment of my injury. I am fully recovered now and would refer him wholeheartedly.

Dr. Barry Finkelstein in one word "AWESOME" they did x-rays on premises I waited no more than one hour on a walk in but with an appointment . Staff is unbelievable and realy nice . Nina Was The staff member that took care of me And she was adorable ! I definitely recommend my family and friends to come hear

It was My first time ever going to a podiatrist to get an ingrown toenail removed, I was so scared to have the procedure done but Dr.Finklestein made me feel very comfortable while performing the procedure. I Highly recommend him.

I wouldn't recommend this doctor. One bunnion surgery and was a disaster instead of correct the out bones he put me many nails. I came back with the doctor to correct the incorrect surgery but that was worst, a nightmare.please, Think many times to have a surgery with this specialist . Now, I am going for the third surgery in the same foot because one of nails is coming out. This was the worst decision I took in my life. I regret the time I chose this doctor.
