Dr. Barbara A. Girz

Dr. Girz is very intelligent and probably was once a very good Dr, but I will not be returning to her for my ultrasounds. I left multiple times feeling more stressed out than I should have. I feel like she wasn’t very personable on most days and had poor bedside manner. As a first time mother, I expected the Dr to be more comforting when it came to hiccups in my pregnancy. I felt like she would look right through me when speaking to me. I recently gave birth to twins and the Dr was incorrect with their estimated weights. Thankfully they were born bigger than expected. The Dr also claimed one of my twins had club feet during my ultrasound but it was only due to her positioning. The staff, aside from the Dr, were extremely friendly and personable. If I were to get pregnant again, I will definitely be doing more research and finding a different doctor.

Dr. Girz is a Wonderful, caring doctor who performed a procedure on my daughter in law. She was caring, knowledgeable and put us all at ease. She is a wonderful doctor and I highly recommend her for special maternity care.

The techs and other staff are very nice, but the dr herself is rude and condescending and just nasty. She made me cry during my anatomy scan because my daughter who was 1.5 cried for a few minutes. Then was nasty and questioned me on why I went to a 4d ultrasound place prior for one of the gender peekaboo scans. She then told me she never heard of such a place and told me it made no sense etc and roller her eyes. I’ve never been so uncomfortable at an appointment in my life.

MY SISTER IN LAW WENT IN TO THIS LOCATION BECAUSE I REFERED HER. 6 YEARS AGO I HAD NOTHING BAD TO SAY. YESTERDAY MY SISTER IN LAW HAD HWR FIRST APPOINTMENTS AT 10 WEEKS. THEY DID HER ULTRASOUNDS VERY AGRESSIVELY AND THEN TOLD HER WE DO NOT HEAR A HEART BEAT. AND TOLD HER THAT THEY’LL HAVE THE SCHEDULING PEOPLE CALL HER TO SET UP A DATE AND TIME TO REMOVE BABY. SHE WAS SO HURT. SO WE THEN TOOK HER TO THE ER. THE HEART BEAT WAS 158 + HEALTHY. I HOPE THESE PEOPLE NEVER PUT ANYONE ELSE THROUGH THIS!
