Staff is great DOCTOR IS NOT REAL DOESN'T MANGE HER WORK RIGHT SHE THERE JUST FOR THE MONEY AS PROVEN and Wow I never should I put my appointment card on it and she calls back to talk to you

I began seeing Dr. Yafeh for headaches. When you have an appointment with her, she asks really good questions and gathers data on what is going on with you. She really listens and truly wants to get to the source of the issue. We decided for me to stop a certain medication, and my headaches decreased dramatically. I appreciate her patience and problem solving.

Dr. Yafeh is wonderful! Her medical expertise is outstanding. I so appreciate her kindness and concern. As a healthcare professional myself, I can say she did a great job reviewing my chart, explaining my condition & the plan of care. I would recommend her to anyone needing neurological care.

We can’t say enough wonderful things about this doctor. She’s kind caring she listens. She understands she only wants the best for her patients. And she’s extremely knowledgeable. We feel blessed to be part of this practice and are grateful that she has taken care of me and my husband for the last 8 years. She manages my migraines and my husband’s seizures and memory loss. No matter what time of day or night. She’s always there for us and we are grateful.

My daughter has being seeing Dr Yafeh for over 9 months for debilitating Migraines. She cares for her patients as she spends a good amount of time with them, where she explains in an easy to understand terms what she is doing. Dr. Yafeh prescribed Migraine medications until she found the one that worked for my daughter. I am very thankful to Dr. Yafeh for reassuring my daughter that she was not going to give up on her until she could find the medication to alleviate her debilitating migraines. And she did indeed!!. She is one amazing lady! A great doctor, extremely knowledgeable, but more than that. She is kind, caring, understand and wants the best for her patients. Dr. Yafeh had a wonderful bedside manner. She's kind and a good listener. I had seen several doctors who didn't know how to treat my condition. She was very attentive and seemed to understand right away what I was dealing with. She made suggestions and prescribed medication that made an immediate improvement for me. I'm very grateful to have been referred to Dr. Yafeh. She is very kind and attentive, with an excellent bedside manner. She never makes me feel like she's in a hurry, is always a good listener. I had seen several different doctors from different disciplines and none were able to diagnose and treat my condition. Dr. Yafeh seemed to immediately understand what I was dealing with and made some changes in medication that brought about immediate relief. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

I ended up in the hospital and she was calling me a few times a day to see how I am doing. She is extremely caring and cautious in her treatment. Her bedside manner is impeccable. Dr. Yafeh is the sweetest Dr. I've ever had! I met her after I left the hospital after my stroke. She is welcoming and the office staff is always patient and helpful. They answer all my questions and never rush me.

Spprodimsrly two years ago I suffered a stroke and was hospitalized in Long Brach Memorial. I had a large team of Doctorrs attending me with various specialties. My famliy raved aout Doc Yahfeh. She keep them informed of my progress and was more than just faring, I always felt that we muwt be related because she treated me like fmily. Whe I was finally released from the howpital I continued as her paient in a followup capacity. She always had great referrals for me nd even though I wanted her to rell me I would be allowed to drive again soon, she newver lied to me and kept me optimistic and realistic about my reocvery. My caregiver ways that Im always smiling after every appointment with my Dr. Yafeh. It is not unusual for my family to ask "drhnn are you see your favorite doctgoing to see your favorite doctor?" Dr. Banafsheh Yafeh treated my husband at Long Beach Memorial during his second stroke in September 2018. Unlike the doctors during his first stroke, she took the time to patiently go over his test results and explain the damage in language any ordinary person under duress could understand. He was incapacitated and, under her care, as she promised, he was back home for Christmas dinner, which is no small feat considering his setbacks and numerous health issues. We are very glad to have found her and he continues to see her during his recovery. She is a brilliant neurologist AND also a strong advocate for her patients and their families. Office visits with her have been a smooth experience for us -- we have not had any long waits and her front office staff are great in helping us with filing benefits and coverage paperwork. Update, March 2021: My husband has been able to return to work full time under her care. We’re very grateful for her care during his recovery. It is nothing short of a miracle as he had to relearn skills including how to walk and improving his memory, among other things. Dr. Yafeh is a caring, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable doctor and is my hero. In 2015 I suffered a near catastrophic Venous Thrombosis (stroke) and was taken to a mandated local hospital. When they couldn't figure out the issues or causes Dr. Yafeh was consulted and I was transferred to a "higher level of care " at Memorial Hospital. Dr. Yafeh guided my wife and family through the process and procedures which all hoped would help me survive. she explained in detail to my wife (medical power of attorney) all the medical procedures necessary for the immediate and long term recovery. I have been with Dr. Yafeh in outpatient care for 5 years and in that time she has been professional and efficient and helped support me on my road to recovery. I've written this on my own which is a testament to the care provided as I've had to learn to tie my shoes, walk, talk and now swim. (even in the deep end) Capt. Jim Russell ret.

Dr. Yafeh came through for us when we thought my wife's condition was going to result in premature birth of our twins. She came to see us 3 times within 2 days to deliver results, medication education, and supportive care. The first time we met her she extended her hand to shake mine, but I asked if I could hug her. She made such a profound impact on us. I'd trust her with my life.

I found Dr Yafeh to be professional and PRECISE in questioning my course/diagnosis/care to date.At no time was she demanding, arrogant or unconcerned. As a Neurologist she displayed compassion and astute awareness of condition. She solicited my husband's input and concerns. Sorry but having read the previous comment, I feel a bit Schizophrenic in that e could not have seen the same doctor. As a physician with 45 ears experience I have had similar complaints. From the comment I sense that the son was put off by having bother attending his senior Mom, wishing instead to dictate the visit. Not having all info concerning his Mom's care is inexcusable. I have no allegiance to Dr Yafeh as I have seen her but once. However, her concern and dedication to help me was impressive. I wasn’t feeling well for a few days. When I contacted Dr. Yafeh’s office, they quickly scheduled me for an appointment. Communication is a big deal for me. Dr. Yafeh and her staff were excellent at communicating clearly every time we spoke. She allowed me to ask her questions. She was very good at answering them in a way that was easy for me to understand. Sometimes it’s hard to articulate exactly what’s wrong. I thought Dr. Yafeh was really great at trying to decipher the issues with me. She genuinely cared. I’m so happy I went to see Dr. Banafsheh Yafeh. I was experiencing severe migraines for weeks. When she found out how debilitating migraines have been to my life, she had her staff call me and she accommodated me into her busy schedule sooner. We talked about my symptoms at length. When I told her how past medications hadn’t worked or how the side effects were too much to deal with, she recommended great alternatives that I still use today. As far as bedside manner, she was consistently nice and understanding. I found Dr. Yafeh very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She has superb clinical skills. I'm always hesitant when seeing a new doctor, but Dr. Yafeh exceeded my expectations in every way. I recently started going to her and the entire process has been very smooth! Her staff was friendly and made my appointment to accommodate my schedule. Dr. Yafeh herself is very professional and knowledgeable. She was very focused on finding out what I was dealing with. She took the time to show me my imaging and I had the chance to ask questions. We discussed treatment and medication options and possible side effects and made sure I was satisfied with them. By far the most knowledgeable doctor I’ve ever had. She makes every effort to provide the patients with the highest level of care, incorporating the latest findings of clinical research and guidelines into the clinical practice.

She took the time to listen to me. She was empathetic and caring. She explained my diagnosis, discussed my labs and imaging be reviewed my different treatment options. I had the chance to ask my questions at ease. I'm glad I chose her !

Her questions were thorough and helpful when she was trying to diagnose me. I knew I was with a professional when I was with her

Their phones don't work most of the time so you can't get through. They don't follow up with their end of setting up medical tests. They apologize, say they will call you and don't (4 times). Have very IMPORTANT tests done ( cause I set them up) and a month later I don't know the results or an appointment to find out. Going to a different doctor now. Can't take the stress, we are talking about my brain here.

Showed lack of compassion and empathy for senior mother. She also lacks computer knowledge or familiarity with Healthcare Partners App. 6/12/2018 tooked my elderly mother to see for her first consultation as her previous Dr. is no longer in the network. Her introduction as she walked in was very impersonal. No eye contact or any interaction with my mother or acknowledgment of her. She spoke in a very intimidating manner and questioned why I thought my mother had signs of Parkinson. She demanded to see a list of meds and informed the nurse that she would not see us unless we have a list of meds. I was able to pull the list from the Healthcare Partners App and emailed to nurse within minutes. Nurse was able to print list and handed it to Dr. After over an hour Dr. Yafeh walked in and referred to the list to be incorrect. As I tried to explained to her she would rudely tell me to stay focus. Mind you that I’m not the patient. She would refused to let me explained anything and to keep my answers to yes or no. I thought I was in court! She ordered me to write down on a piece of paper all my mother’s meds and detailing the instructions. I refused, as I had already confirmed the app listing with actual meds. The consultation was very intimidating, hostile and and her toned of voice very authoritative and demanding. She lacked compassion and empathy towards my senior mother. She never acknowledged my mother or at least show any concern that she showed face injuries for her recent fall. She even questioned why she was on a wheelchair. If she would have done her due diligence before the consultation she would known my mother’s medical history. When she finally allowed me to speak, I told her she was inconsiderate having us wait over an hour and to demand that we provide her a list all meds. And I suggested to her that they should be informing the patient when calling them to remind them of the appointment or should informed me when I called earlier the day to try to cancel as my mother was not feeling well and had just gotten out of the hospital 3 days prior. They were great at convincing me to bring her in the day but they forgot to mention to bring the list of meds. I also requested that she submit my mother’s medical prescription via online to Walmart and she refused. I just recently got the App as helps me stay informed with my mother’s appointment, prescriptions and records My perception of Dr. Yafeh that she is people skills illiterate , computer illiterate with no empathy or compassion for her patients. Dr Yafeh is a wonderful human being as well as a warm and expert neurologist ! Makes complicated issues understandable ! Treats her patients like family :) I wish more docs were like her !
