I had migraine surgery four years ago. Migraines are gone but minor pains continue, they go away when I take painkillers. Scar tissue formed at the surgery site. I don't like it and I can't sleep comfortably on the pillow. I'm still ensuring that the operative site is in the space, the pillow should not touch. I feel fine in general, but I did not know in those years that it is possible to recover without surgery. There are subconscious/psychological studies to cure migraine, I think they work. Try those methods first, if you don't get results, consider surgery. because your nervous system will be touched.

6 months ago, I made a decision that I will forever be thankful for. 6 months ago, I drove to Cleveland to undergo head surgery that has ended my chronic migraines. For years, I have struggled with chronic migraines that left me feeling defeated. After seeing multiple doctors, trying different medication and trying different things to improve my migraines (that would occur daily) ... I gave up. I was on a prevention medication, a monthly shot and still had migraines almost every day. Migraines that would affect not only my job, the ability of driving and even my everyday life. My neurologist informed me that there was nothing they could do for me and that this was something I would have to manage throughout the rest of my life. I felt defeated as a person. It was exhausting, all I wanted was to be normal! Then, a miracle happened. A person came into my salon and informed me of this doctor that changed her life. She informed me that this doctor took her migraines away with a surgery. I was in disbelief that I had not been referred or that I have ever heard of this doctor prior to this. After I did my research, I later found out he has been successful for years. So, I scheduled my appointment and successfully completed surgery. I am currently off all my medication and am migraine free for 6 months and counting. I had to share this because I know a lot of people that have told me that they struggle with chronic migraines, and I wanted to share there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I have a very complicated history and Dr. Guyuron saved me when I was at my lowest point in life. Had septoplasty and rhinoplasty by Dr. Guyuron and had a great experience. Very happy with end product and recovery was typical for the procedure. Dr. Guyuron was not always the warmest but was always nice and meant business when I saw him.

My daughter had migraine surgery performed by Dr. Guyuron in 2008, when she was nearly 18 ears old. Why have I waited so long to write a review? At first I wanted to be sure her results were going to last and then life happened and i never got it done. Let me tell you, it was, I believe, lifesaving. My daughter had unrelenting migraines for over a year. She never got total relief during that time. She could not attend school her senior year, missed her prom and so much more. We had tried EVERYTHING. It was so bad she was beginning to make scary comments like, "if this is going to be the way my life is from now on I'd just as soon not live it". She was actually the one who found Dr. G online and after much consideration we decided to try his migraine surgery. He did a multifocal surgery, which was ROUGH on her, but it gave her her life back. She may have had a migraine or two since but other than that they are GONE. I got double eyelid surgery here because my eyelids were uneven. When I first got my surgery it was corrected but after about 2 months my eyelid went back to how it was in the beginning. I reached out to him and he told me that it looks fine and that it looks good. Trust me, I wouldn’t just be contacting him for the fun of it. My eyelid was not even anymore and I was very unhappy since I spent thousands of my hard earned money on the surgery. I was supposed to go back after one whole year since surgery but I did not want to because it’s really a waste of my time if he’s just going to ignore my problems about my eyelid. I should have went to someone else to get the surgery and it wasted so much time and money all for nothing. I saw another review where a woman was also unhappy with her surgery results and she also said he tried denying everything and made it seem like it was all in her head. It is my body and it’s my money that I spent on the surgery. If I don’t like it, I should be able to voice that and figure out a solution. I also heard he makes you pay for another correction surgery so it’s really a waste of time and money. Now I have uneven eyelids just like from the start and I’m very unhappy. It has been 10 months since receiving my Migraine surgery. I am completely headache free. Dr Guyuron, thank you for giving me back my life delivering me from multiple daily migraines that took the joy out of my life since 2012. I cannot believe that this is really my life now.

After doing research on local plastic surgeons for a future tummy tuck, I came across Dr. Totonchi and loved his work. I made an appointment to go and try Botox and Juvederm for the first time! Dr. Totonchi & staff were great! It was quick and I am looking forward to going back for touch ups :)

Dr. Guyuron saved my nose I am eternally grateful to Dr. Guyuron for literally saving my nose. After a very bad accident with MRSA about ten years ago, several other surgeons had tried to salvage my nose, to no avail. A few of those surgeries (by doctors who claimed to know what they were doing, but in fact didn’t) made things worse. When I moved to New York, I consulted with a few top rated plastic surgeons who all said they did not dare to touch my nose which required extensive reconstruction, i.e. more than just cosmetic work. A couple of them honestly admitted that they did not have the skills and experience and highly recommended Dr. Guyuron. By the time I saw him, my nose was deformed and I had problems breathing. Dr. Guyuron was very patient in managing my expectations and in explaining the process of how he was going to salvage it (staggered surgeries). The internal bone structure and septum were badly damaged, he needed to use my own fat, ear and rib cartilages in several surgeries over two years. There was almost no pain and each surgery improved my nose. I love his staff - Doreen, Mary, Tracy and all others. They are very caring and professional. I had to fly in from NY for each surgery and was well taken care of with nursing care and logistical support. Words can’t describe how I feel about Dr. Guyuron. I am almost 2 months post-op (rhinoplasty, turbinectomy and septoplasty) and I am so happy with my results! My breathing has improved 100% and my nose looks perfect. His staff is incredible, very good communication skills and extremely caring. His office is so nice and clean. I cannot say enough about my daughters experience w Dr Guyuron. My daughter had 2 prior botched rhinoplasties. Not only did her nose look bad, she could no longer breathe through her nose. I tried so hard to stop her from going through a third surgery. She lives in LA. She met w several surgeons, all were unwilling to perform a third surgery. My name is Sandy and I would like to share my story with the purpose of bringing hope to those that have been disfigured and left traumatized by a plastic surgeon. My ordeal began when I had a car accident in which my nose became very crooked. The only way to fix my nose was through surgery, so In August of 2018 I decided it was time to take that step. I did my homework and chose a triple board certified doctor in my hometown of Las Vegas, NV. We agreed that my nose would be straightened and symmetry improved. To my horror, what I got was a botched surgery that completely devastated my life for over a year. This doctor completely annihilated my nose. He removed so much cartilage that my nose was disfigured , caused my nasal passages to cave in , injected my nose with fillers to disguise some of the damage , by the way which was done without my knowledge or consent, and above all, I lost the ability to breathe through my nose. For a whole year straight I had to live with flu like symptoms, anxiety and grief because my nose was not working properly. It was a complete nightmare!! I sought help for reconstructive surgery but many doctors turned me away. My final attempt was going to be a plastic surgeon in California. I had prayed and asked God to please open the path to the right doctor. The california surgeon could not help me, but he referred me to Dr. Guyuron. Dr. Guyuron performed a facelift, under eye and neck lift - I’m a 45 y.o. male and work in financial sales. Minimal scarring and a seamless transition back to work and in front of scrutinizing clients was key. I am so happy with the results. I wasn’t looking to chase my youth, but rather I felt my face “leaving me” as it fell and dropped in a way that really aged me and made me look grumpy and tired. I really feel like I got “me” back, seeing the person I had started to forget. This is probably my one-and-done surgery, and I went in with a trust-but-verify attitude about Dr. G, with him being highly recommended by many people I know who were patients. Do not migraine surgery! I became worse after the surgery. Do not trust the surgery. Because surgery wasn't the cure for migraine. Who will heal me now? I wish I never had the surgery.

I’m writing this review Two months post surgery and I am so happy with my results. Everyone who knows I had surgery compliment how natural and great it looks and everyone who doesn’t know make comments about how great I look! The entire process was smooth. I am able to breath much, much better. I haven’t had a stuffy nose since before the procedure and I used to get cold like symptoms for weeks on end (I had sinusitis pre surgery). This was a surgery I was supposed to do ten years ago but I’m glad I waited and got to do it with Guyuron! Dr. Guyuron preformed temple migraine surgery on me 3 weeks ago today. While I understand the final results from my surgery are yet to be determined, I'm pleased thus far. Minimal incisions and post-op pain. No migraines since surgery, and fewer "normal headaches". The Doc's surgical skills are second to none. Almost robotic! Even more impressive is his dedication and courage. Migraine surgery is paradigm shifting. Went to see Dr. Guyuron for the first time the other day to discuss issues I was having and a deformity with my nose. It’s very stressful not being able to breathe right and also hurts your self esteem with a deformity as well. I never met such warm, caring understanding professionals. Not only were the staff amazing but the Dr Guyuron was so wonderful! Answered every question I had and understood my concerns and way to fix them. If I do get approved for the surgery I will be forever grateful but if not, that’s okay I just wanted to let everyone know my first experience. Dr. Guyuron gave me a second chance at my life with my chronic migraine 10 years ago today. This is my 10 year anniversary of leaving ENT performed sinus surgeries to his expertise. He had an idea about my turbinates that were sutured to my septum acting as tree branches that were on fire causing the whole tree to be on fire (my septum). He was right. He warned me of the possibility of empty nose syndrome. I trusted him and had surgery. Luckily, no empty nose syndrome. I was stuck at a level 8 migraine that went to a level 10 multiple times a week (lots of ER visits and my neurologist to this day saving me time after time, without any hope of resuming my life at 23). I can never thank Dr. Guyuron enough for saving my life. I still have chronic migraine, but this talented surgeon brought my chronic level to a 4 with level 8-9 severe migraines 2-3 times a month. I was told by someone to see Dr. Guyuron and so I took a chance. The Skype call was enough for me to put my trust in him and fly to Ohio. Dr guyuron is a butcher! He was supposed to redo a graft .instead he causes the z-plasty to fall out like a trap door,as was stated by dr. Zinns chief of plastic surgery at the cleveland clinic. For me personally Dr. Guyuron was not a good pick. The facial surgery outcome has felt discouraging to me. It doesn't look subtle or natural, imo. I saw another surgeon that noted what was done in surgery years back by Dr. Guyuron, before I even mentioned to that surgeon that I had had this surgery at all. That is not a hallmark of good facial surgery, imo. It looks too obvious to me. In several consultations surgeons offered to try to improve and so I have tried to remedy what I felt was a not good result, but it has cost a lot of money. I was taken aback by the communication with Dr. Guyuron in addition. Dr. Guyuron will respond to your questions. But when I pointed out I had some concerns his response suggested to me that this was in my mind. As if it was just me who was seeing this. As I thought he was a famous surgeon, I took his word for it that this looked good, and I tried to move on. But I kept feeling embarrassed about the result, and as it turned out: this was not just something I envisioned. I read some of the court records of the lawsuit of Dr. Guyuron against his former patient. In a recent motion asking for a summary judgement, his counsel included an email from Dr. Guyuron to his patient. In the letter Dr. Guyuron tells the patient that he is checking up to see how she is doing. In different wording he writes he is not just writing her about her (negative) review, but also to see how she is doing, since he checks up on his patients in general to see how they are doing. I can tell you: he never checked up on me in these years. And when I tried to ask him about the outcome of surgery and the worry I had about it in a respectful email, my concerns were quickly set aside imo. I had surgeries with Dr. Guyuron in 1988 and 1989 to reconfigure my cheek bones, skull,eyebrow, eyelids after a terrible tumor had destroyed my eye and the surrounding areas. The tumor was removed in 1969 but I was told then that the technology did not exist at that time to reconstruct everything and that I should wait until it advanced. Having the surgeries with Dr. Guyuron changed my life. No one notices my eye situation anymore and it is such a blessing. Fantastic surgeon with morals !! He is so honest and lovely . Not only he is skillful in his surgical techniques and a master in his league but he is so honest and forward with his patients . He will never take you to the operating room for money therefore you can trust his judgement . A class act surgeon.

I had surgery for my migraines 2 years ago. It has helped tremendously. I went from 12-15 a month to 2-3a month. It was life changing! Dr Guyuron is awesome and so is his staff.

August 25, 2015 I trusted Dr. Guyuron to make good on his promise. He told me that he could cure my migraines. Please do not believe this. It is NOT true. I did have a great deal of relief for about 6 months and then the migraines were back in full force. I called to let the doctor know and the answer made me furious. I was told to come back and have more surgeries. I asked if it was going to be at his expense. He said no. After paying more than $22,000 UPFRONT he wanted more money.
