Dr. B Tucker Woodson

Dr. Woodson has been treating me for over a year. You will have to wait 1 month or more from the date you schedule an appointment. The wait times at the appointment are 15+ minutes to get called and 20+ minutes in the back. The first person you see in the back will be a student doctor, so you aren't kept waiting. Then you have to explain everything again to Dr. Woodson. He does not listen at all. He created his own symptoms for my condition that I never mentioned when describing it. During one visit, he was in such a rush and answered a call on his iphone watch which was totally unprofessional. I have had 2 procedures with him. The first was ineffective. The second worsened my condition. I had one follow up with him after the second. He dismissed the idea the procedure worsened my condition, made up another symptom I never mentioned, and accomplished nothing. I am still in pain and waiting another month to see him again. I have no idea why. I will likely switch doctors soon.

Excellent sleep specialist! I was fully informed on what was best for me. Based on previous experience I feel very fortunate.

I had seen Dr. Woodson for sleep apnea. He was very professional and walked me thru everything as to the testing and results, next steps and finally his recommendation of treatment. I never questioned his judgement once. When I needed to get in touch with him after discharge, He was very easy to reach. The surgery that he performed corrected a lot of my problems but next step is the Inspire unit. I highly recommend Dr. Woodson.

I overall waited 90 minutes before I saw him. The nurse apologized but he had nothing to say. He saw me for a total of 2 minutes, never even examine me. His nurse weighed me and took a blood pressure. He had someone training with him. I told him my concern of having flem in my chest, and a nighttime cough, he said, it's probably a cold go see your regular doctor. Very unhappy with his bedside manner. Very dismissive and uncaring. I understand that my poor health is my own fault, I just needed some help from him and got none. I've never said something bad about a doctor before, I respect their time time and knowledge. I’ve had a couple surgeries with him and recovery has been much better than expected based on reviews from other people with other doctors. Extremely knowledgeable! Willing to explain things in depth. Highly recommended.

Dr. B.T. Woodson is a consummate, and quite a caring professional (Otolaryngology) doctor. He specializes in sleep medicine and associated sleeping disorders. Furthermore, he's a world renown educator, and a surgeon doctor who is on the leading edge of his field. He also travels all over the world giving seminars and conferences. Other professionals in his field look on and receive their improving sleep medicine training for this from him. I have been seeing him for well over a decade now. As a professional airline pilot, I have highly stringent requirements and standards, to maintain my FAA medical certification. My health (naturally) is first, and my safety is the utmost importance. Dr. Woodson and I see to it! So, I highly endorse and recommend Dr. B.T. Woodson. Remember this, your doctor's appointment is what you make out of it! Be prepared with appropriate questions and if necessary, have a partner accompany you. He has always spent more than ample time with me as his patient.
