Makes you feel amazingly comfortable. Very thorough. My surgery on my back was done so well you cant even tell it was done. Very sweet bedside manner. Recommend her to everyone.

I have been a patient of Dr. Feldman for many years. I wanted a dermatologist who would give me a detailed exam every year, and had been disappointed in going to others in town. Five years ago, she discovered a melanoma at the earliest stage and promptly removed it. I have just finished seeing her every 6 months to make sure that nothing has reoccurred. I am very thankful that she found it so early, and now will continue to see her every year! I have also been pleased with her staff, especially her nurse.

Dr. Feldman is pleasant and professional. I was having a melanoma removed, and she put me completely at ease. This is the second melanoma she has removed for me; the first one was a deeper one in January, and was stitched together very neatly! No problems at all with that scar.

Dr. Feldman was great! She explained everything she was doing in the several procedures she did - removing cysts the size of a large marble and a basal cell carcinoma. She was caring, friendly and professional. The nurses helping her were very good too. B West Des Moines

Though it is difficult to get into any Derm. doctor in Des Moines, they had a cancellation and I was able to be seen. I'd rather see a Doctor vs PA. She was very pleasant and took time to listen, and had compassion. This is appreciated.

Dr. Ava Felman is awesome. She is very thorough. She has found 3 different skin cancers on me and has never removed anything that wasn't cancer. The young lady at the appointment desk found me a cancellation and got me right in which I am so thankful for because it was another skin cancer. Thank you, thank you for your great service!

Dr. Feldman is top notch. Always willing to listen to the patient. And she treats my problems like they were her own. Her two nurses, Debi and Mary Lee are awesome as well. You put the three of them together and you have the best there is!

My experiences with Heartland Dermatology and Dr. Feldman have been completely positive. The practice is conveniently located; the staff is professional and competent; and they are easy to work with. Dr. Feldman is well-educated, experienced, and an effective communicator. I had a small, pain-free surgery; Dr. Feldman was warm and matter-of-fact, explaining each step of the process. I appreciate that the cosmetic skin care offices -and marketing - are separate from the medical offices.

I feel that I have the best dermatology doctor. I also appreciate the staff and when I see the same persons working, from the last time I was in the office, it pleases me that they are happy and the turn-over is low, which I feel is a positive sigh of being treated well. It is comforting, as a patient, and I appreciate the recognition, from previous visits. I have never had a bad experience in the many years, and treatments.

I went to Dr. Feldman to have skin cancer removed from my nose. Dr. Feldman and her assistant have over 15 years of experience working together. They did an excellent job in removing the skin cancer. Dr. Feldman then referred me to plastic surgeon, Dr. Cody A. Koch, and on the same day he closed the incision. He also did an excellent job. It has been 2 weeks now and you can't even tell that I had the surgery. I highly recommend the above surgeons and their staffs.

I've been going to Dr Feldman now for over ten years. She and all of her people are very professional and efficient in treating my pre-cancerous spots on my skin.

I wouldn't trust my skin health to anybody else. Dr Feldman is always very professional, thorough and explains everything very well. Her staff is courteous, friendly and seem like they enjoy working there.
