There is a simple reason why Dr Miklius has great reviews on every review website and that is because she is an amazing doctor. She has everything you would ever want in a doctor who is caring for you or your loved ones. In fact she has treated both my husband and I for over 15 years. Her staff is just as great as she is. She has always treated us like family and goes the extra mile to help you find a medication that you can afford and does care about you as a real person. Thank you Dr Miklius for always being there for us.

Dr. Miklius is excellent. She really listens and cares about all of your health issues. I have never felt rushed during an appointment, and the wait time is reasonable. I highly recommend her.

Every time I went to this office I had to wait an extra hour to two hours past my appointment! I’ve been late to work, missed school, and events because she has no respect for other people. Every. Single. Time. She never helped with my diabetes- she would only tell me how bad it would be if I mismanaged it. She did not refill my prescription right now and there is no on-call doctor so I am currently completely out of my fast acting insulin until I don’t know when. . In 2015 I was rushed to the ER with an Adrenal Crisis (sepsis too) and spent over a week in the ICU. Diagnosis:Addison’s Disease. After being referred to 2 other Endocrinologists I became very discouraged. Both these doctors only seemed to care (&know) about treating diabetes. Fortunately I found out that a friend of a friend with Addison’s had been a happy patient of Dr. Miklius for years. After my 1st appointment with Dr. Miklius I immediately felt confident that I was in good care. The past 6 years she has gone over and beyond to take the best possible care of me. I’m very thankful for Dr. Miklius and her incredible staff.

Dr. Miklius and her entire staff are just wonderful! Even though she has a very busy practice, they are always so efficient and thoughtful. She has made such an enormous difference in the quality of my life with getting my type 2 diabetes under control. She's the best. They have an in-office lab, so I can get my blood work drawn right there. Their staff are always very thoughtful and engaging.

After moving, I still fly in from Greensboro, N.C. to keep my appointments with the Doctor. After one of my normal diabetic check ups, she decided to do a couple other tests. Discovered that I needed to be rushed to hospital and have a 5 by-pass heart surgery. Yes, she saved my life and still is

My husband and I have been patients of Dr Miklius for years. She is so kind, caring and very competent. WE LOVE her staff as well. Nurses, Melody and Ashley, PA Pam, and her dietitian Nicole all go above and beyond the call of duty for their patients.We would be honored to recommend them to anyone who is in need of a great dr.

Dr. Miklius is fabulous! What I love most about her is her wealth of knowledge and expertise she offers at each appointment!

Doctor’s Office Nurse advised me their “Associate Group Practice” DOES NOT provide referrals to their patients for “other doctors” in the same medical speciality. To me, that “policy” would seem to go against patient care, well-being, health & welfare .... focus is obviously missing. A very mis-guided idea.

I have seen Dr. Miklius several years for osteoporosis. She is smart, pleasant and up to date. Take a book and a bottle of water. Waiting room has no entertainment, but I never wait long there. I go to an exam room, where I wait a while. Her assistant is nice. The front desk, lab, and checkout can be iffy. Last time I was there, they were all great.

i would never recommend this DR as I had such a bad experience with appointment call desk. they had disconnected for the first time when i called to get the appointment ( that was so rude ), again i had to call back and the rep lady was so rude that she didn't even take my details correctly and when she asked me about the zip code, i asked to wait for a sec to give the details and she replied saying would you mind calling us tomorrow as we are closing for the day ( it was 3:30 when i called )

I've never met Dr. Miklius, but the uncaring fast-talking appt rep was intro enough. She rushed me in the call. I had to ask her to repeat herself many times. As a NP, I couldn't be seen until Oct (4 mos out). I agreed. She said "You're really OK waiting that long?" I said "I will" & asked to be added to the wait list. She told me the wait list was very long. I told her I didn't feel at ease in making the appt based on this phone call. "Fine" she said & hung up. A wise doctor hires wise staff.

Dr Miklius is a wonderful caring doctor and one of the best endocrinologists we’ve dealt with! She has been my dad’s dr for the past 6 years, back when his diabetes was out of control and he needed a quadruple bypass surgery. Her vast knowledge about anything and everything medical was of a great help for my dad. Anytime we call her and leave a message with her nurse, she herself calls back after hours and discusses the concerns with us. I just got off an almost 15-20 min call with her about my dad’s labs and she was such a pleasant and reassuring doctor. I recommend her to anyone needing to see an endocrinologist! Dr. Miklius is WONDERFUL! She listens and takes concerns and symptoms seriously.

Excellent doctor! Have been seeing her for several years now for a pituitary tumor and a few other things as needed! I now live in Florida and travel back to Texas to see her! I wouldn't use anyone else! Most of this time I have had no insurance, I am a cash paying patient but she explains the tests needed and I feel very comfortable with the decisions we make together. She is efficient but takes the time to ask questions and explain things and I'm usually in and out pretty quickly!!

Dr. Miklius is caring, compassionate, and most importantly - thorough. I am so glad that I transferred my thyroid cancer care to her. I saw another physician for 8 yrs and he was adequate, but I wanted a doctor who acknowledges that this hormone therapy does need to be balanced with life changes and medication side effects. Additionally, she has left no stone unturned in my cancer care. She is truly dedicated and seeing her is worth the office and scheduling wait times.

Dr. Miklius is always able to address my health issues. She responds quickly to my requests and has always given me very helpful advice.

I have been seeing Dr Miklius for many years, and I would want her care for my family and friends. She is extremely knowledgeable in her specialty and she is concerned about my overall health. She is also lovely and funny, a pleasure to see.

Dr. Miklius and her PA Pam Jones are amazing. Everyone who works at the office is so thoughtful and organized. The system works seamlessly. I never have a long wait, but every visit is exceptionally thorough and they really consider everything going on to make sure I have the best healthcare possible. And I LOVE the ease of the patient portal.

Never will be back there! Never could get return phone calls dealing with prescriptions insurance would not pay for or for questions in general when first finding out. We only got a crash course and not a lot of info and no support after the crash course. Will never recommend the office either.

Excellent dr. with incredible knowledge of up and coming meds/treatments.

Dr. Miklius is an outstanding physician. She focuses on my physical problems and discusses options to help me. She is a motivator keeping me on track for better health and I feel is genuinely concerned with my well being. She is honest and straightforward never sweetening the subject matter -- she calls it the way she sees it !!! Due to a thyroid issue, my primary physician recommended that I see Dr Mikilus. She was conservative in her approach, through testing and monitoring. Finally, after exhausting all options, she had to aspirate my gland and found a nodule that eventually had to be removed. I continue to see Dr Miklius for check up's and medication, her knowledge, expertise, listening skills and due diligence are second to none. I appreciate her kindness and compassion and I recommend her highly.

Dr Miklius takes a holistic approach to health and well being. She's been my endocrinologist for more than a decade, managing my diabetes and hypo-thyroiditis. I travel from McKinney down to Dallas to see her, and will continue to do so - she's wonderful !!

I have entrusted my health to Dr. Miklius for about 20 years. She has always done something that is quite unusual. She listens. She puts questions in context and takes the time to read your history and applies it to the appointment at hand. I travel aoutb45 minutes to see her through awful traffic. I would not consider anyone else.

She was incredible and very thorough. She took the time to explain everything to me and addressed all of my concerns.

I have to see many doctors because I have been sick for 40 yrs and I currently have a permanent IV, daily treatments, etc. Dr. Miklius is attentive, meticulous and engaging. She took her time, listened to me, offered options, didn't overreact to my condition and was pleasant to speak with. I have seen docs all over this country and in my opinion (as a "professional" patient), she's a very good doctor and I would definitely recommend her to others.

BEST DOCTOR IN DALLAS. I first got diagnosed with diabetes in 2016 after losing concscience at work and a 10 day hospital stay due to A1C result of 13 and blood sugars up to 700/800. I research doctors and Dr. Miklius was the best option. I was am super satisfied with the care Dr. Miklius has given me. Within four months my A1C was at 6.7 and sugar was normal. Dr. Miklius is not only caring, but an advanced expert in her field. I HIGHLY recommend her. The whole office staff is AMAZING also.

DR. Miklius is by FAR the BEST OF THE BEST in her field. Within my diagnosis she was able to bring down my A1C from 13 to 6.7 in only four months, my blood sugars became normal and stable. Dr Miklius is attentive and very caring and so is everyone on her staff. Just an AMAZING practice. I have no qualms in highly recommending her. Her staff has excellent manners, are efficient, and are responsive to questions asked.

I would highly recommend Dr. Miklius. She is very knowledgeable and will sit with you until all of your questions are answer. Feeling comfortable with a doctor is one of my highest priorities and I would say she meets that. The worst part is the wait time, but I value her as my doctor too much to leave.

I am so glad I finally found Dr. Miklius! She is an intelligent, caring, professional, and truly passionate doctor. I am always amazed at how much time she spends with me, whether she's providing moral support or recommending a book she thinks I'd enjoy. She is not judgemental which is nice when I feel like I am failing at being a "good" diabetic patient. I feel like I can tell her anything. I have recommended her to my PCP and my gynecologist so that they can refer their patients to her!

Dr. Miklius is the best endocrinologist! She is experienced, thoughtful, and a wonderful listener. Wait times can get very long to see her, but she is worth the wait!

Dr. Miklius is fantastic. I Also like her nurses. However, the office staff leaves a LOT to be desired. You can never trust that a message is being delivered to Dr or nurse. I've faxed in blood sugars before with questions that she never got. Once I even called in as I'd not gotten a response just to be told that yes she got the fax. Calling and getting nurse a few days later confirmed Dr. Miklius never got the fax. This was 3rd time this happened....result, I don't call or fax anymore.

I have been seeing her for many years because she is a very good doctor who cares and more important is very up to date on new procedures and drugs to help control my blood sugar. I would recommend her and have recommended her.

Dr Miklius is the best doctor I have ever had. She is current, knowledgeable, professional and down to earth. Her bedside manor is excellent. I will always remember her informing me that fast food is an establishment ploy to keep the masses ignorant through obesity. The older I get the more I believe her.

Dr. Miklius has a poor, maladapted bedside manner. If you're informed/interested in integral health, she is not the doctor to see. Her textbook knowledge may be vast, but her ability (or willingness) to think critically about certain medical conditions (maybe it's certain patients) is deficient. She told me I was infertile, that she hates being the bearer of bad news, that she'll request my referring doctor to prescribed the appropriate meds the following day (which would have been a Friday) and then sent me and my tears on our way. I called her office the next day, Friday afternoon, when I hadn't heard from my doctor's office as she suggested... it turns out that she was off on that Friday. I called my doctor's office; they never heard from her. My doctor called me 7 days letter after having received a "note" from doctor Miklius about my infertility. This was just long enough for me to find a community of women who've given birth to healthy babies after having doctors speak a prognosis of infertility over them. I few weeks later, I remembered to call Dr. Milkius' office to cancel my 8 week "follow up" appointment and also inquired about the results from the "special" FSH test she took during my visit to her office. Instead of a call back as requested, she emailed results (the exact same ones that my doctor had given me - to share with Dr. Miklius - as a result of my appointment the week before seeing Dr. Miklius) with the following message: Your FSH is quite high consistent with menopause as we discussed. If this is your idea of Medical Care, make an appointment to see Dr. Miklius. However, if you take an interest in your wellbeing and seeing a medical professional to partner with you in Health Care ... crank up your endorphins and sprint in another direction.
