I rarely write poor reviews, but I want to give fellow moms of young kids with allergies a heads up. I had an 8:30am Friday appointment for my 2-year-old's skin test, which is what they recommended when I called. They also told me the appointment could take 2 hours, so I took the day off. At 4:30pm the night before our appointment, they called me to cancel because the APRN we were seeing insisted we need a blood test done at a Quest lab and refused to see us before that happened. I've had mixed results with bloodwork at Quest labs, so did NOT feel comfortable walking in with my 2-year-old's tiny arms (during a pandemic). We went to another allergist who kept the appointment, did the skin test, and said bloodwork was optional at her age. At best, this practice is disorganized and inconsiderate. At worst, they give poor care and instructions for pediatric patients. I'd avoid at all costs.
