Asim Said Khan

I have been under Dr. Khan’s care for several years and he has always presented himself in a very competent manner and seems to really cares about me as a patient. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to someone in need of his care.

Dr. Khan has been treating my RA for 8 or 9 years now. I have the utmost respect and trust in Dr. Khan and would highly recommend him to anyone needing RA care.

I've been seeing Dr. Khan for awhile now - I know that he really cares about me and my health. He asks about my work situation and he asks about my family/home life. He's always checking to see if my stress levels have changed or looking for other outside factors that could be impacting my health. And he's a good listener and also takes the time to answer all my questions. With a chronic condition, you really have to have to relate to and work with your physician. I feel Dr. Khan is a good partner in helping me manage my condition.

This particular visit was for knee injections; however, Dr. Khan has been my rheumatologist for many years. I have recommended Dr. Khan in the past and will continue to recommend him.

As a patient of Dr, Khan for over 20 years, he has provided the medications, expertise, and most importantly his compassion in treating my RA and related maladies with incredible success and care. Several years ago, I needed emergency bypass surgery, and soon after my cardiologist allowed me to begin physical therapy, Dr. Khan stopped in to see me in the cardiac rehab unit to see that I was doing well. I have the utmost respect and trust in Dr. Khan and would highly recommend him to anyone needing his care.

I found him to be very condescending. He quickly forms an opinion regardless of whether he has all the facts. He talks more than he listens-that sums it all up.

Dr. Khan is amazing or as I like to say "aw-sim" his name is Dr. Asim Khan ha ha! I have a very serious psoriasis that has messed up my self confidence for a long time. He devised a treatment plan for me that worked for me finally and getting my psoriasis under control. Not to mention his sense of humor and compassion are amazing. Thank you Dr. Khan!

Dr Khan doesn’t respect privacy of patients as I listened to him dictate notes about multiple patients, one being me, with his office door open and talk loudly to nurses about patient care open for anyone to hear. When I brought this to his nurses attention she told him I had complained and then he tried to explain why he thought this was ok to do. He also talks a mile a minute and I am not convinced he listens. I am changing doctors.

Dr. Khan has been treating my psoriatic arthritis for 1 year with Simponi Aria. The results have been amazing. Dr. Khan is very qualified in his areas of expertise and I highly recommend his services.

Isn't knowledgeable about rheumatology medications and gave false information, issued an rx for prednisone without any instructions, diagnosed hypermobility but left it at that and without care for referral to PT or investigating further to see if there is an issue such as EDS or other connective tissue disorder, he doesn't listen, dismisses concerns, reacts aggressively to questions, like he cares more about his ego than compassionate care. His nurse Sara is awful and there has been more than one occasion I would have liked to walk out of my appointments because of her or Khan. Dr Khan is a caring, compassionate medical professional who takes the time to cover all of the issues you are dealing with and listens intently. Sit patiently!!. There are no scheduling issues at this office. He thoroughly takes care or each person he sees that would explain why sometimes you wait. The minor wait to see him has always been acceptable. Dr. Khan has been treating me for many years for my arthritis in my knees, right hand and shoulder. I have metastatic breast cancer and he always go the extra to make what he is prescribing doesn't conflict with my chemo treatments. Dr. Khan really cares about you are doing not only with my RA but as person. Excellent docotor.

Dr. Khan is a wonderful healer. i have been seeing him for many years. He is very busy due to the large number of people he helps but he takes time to know his patients. He is a first rate diagnostician and a great problem solver. He has a caring heart and is very encouraging, literally helps to put courage in us to face the pain and difficulties we have. Honestly, i just love him. If something is bothering you, feel free to speak up because he will help with it.

Dr. Khan has been my Rheumatologist for over 20 years.. He ALWAYS keeps me up to date on what is best for me including new treatments and medications..

Unlike the first reviewer I had a fantastic experience. Dr Kahn drained the fluid from my knee and gave me a cortisone injection. The knee was so much better immediately and continues to feel great. I have seen Dr Kahn for years. He always seems busy but during ones appointment he listens and he gives his science based advice and readily advises helpful care plans. His staff are all top notch

I had a traumatizing and horrible experience with this doctor and would urge anyone who prefers being treated as a human vs a lab specimen to avoid seeing him. He gave me a cortisone shot in my knee so abruptly that I didn’t have time to even ask questions, let alone meaningfully consent. I absolutely would not have agreed to that procedure if he had given me any room to say no. I later learned that if anything, his decision was harmful to the health issues I am actually dealing with. He also spent more time talking into a recorder about me than talking to me directly. I had to stop him several times to ask him to explain the barely comprehensible medical jargon he was saying about me. He would act annoyed and barely explain, as though me asking questions about my own health was an imposition. He clearly thinks he’s a very capable doctor but is so incapable of deep listening that he misses huge pieces of the puzzle.

I have been seeing Dr. Khan for 22 years. All he cares about is how I feel and how he can help me feel better. Injected two small joints today and it was almost painless! He goes to bat for you with the insurance companies so great patient advocacy. Some complained of short visits. He is very busy as there is a shortage of rheumatologists. It is up to the patient to speak up and say they have questions/issues. When you do so, he listens and is happy to answer your questions.

Diagnosed hip bursitis that two other rheumatologists and an osteopath all missed.

Dr Khan is a smart, compassionate, wonderful doctor who truly cares about his patients. I highly recommend him to any one seeking a top-notch Rheumatologist.

Dr. Khan saved my life. I was in so much pain I found life unbearable. I now can walk up and down stairs clean my house comfortably. Walk my dog. I even was able to slowly dance with my wonderful husband. Thank you Dr. Khan for giving me my life back.

Dr. Khan is wonderful! I went to him on a recommendations from my aunt! I have had psoriasis for a few years and have had no luck at other doctors! Dr. Khan was easy to get into didn't have to wait months! Answered all my questions and fought hard to get me the meds I needed! I would highly recommend him to anyone!

At least a 30 minute wait every appointment and then the receptionist tells me he over books. Then spends 5 minutes with you

I have been seeing Dr. Khan for 8+ years and until I started seeing Dr. Khan, my Ankylosing Spondylitis condition was largely undiagnosed. His diagnosis and treatment for this RA condition has made a huge difference in my overall health. I can recommend Dr. Khan, and his nursing staff (Sarah and Jeannie) without reservation.

Dr Kahn was able to provide relief for my costochondritis when no other physician was able to help me. He is thorough and efficient. He certainly did an outstanding job for me.

I don't know whether or not he's a competent doctor, but his scheduling practices are a mess. I waited 40 minutes past my appointment time today, then left. Last time he was 30 minutes late. No explanation offered to me.

I have been under Dr Khan's treatment for over 15 years. He is very talented with giving injections. He was able to diagnose me when many other Specialists couldn't help me. I would recommend him to anyone! Not to mention his staff is the most considerate bunch of Ladies around.

Dr. Khan listens to my concerns but also has a way of finding pain triggers that I don't even know are there. I have seen him for over 10 years and I can tell he is invested in my care. He is a caring and helps reassure my medical health fears.

I have been under dr.kahns care for 12years the good dr. Has managed my chronic pain of polyarthritis and symptoms of fibromyalgia ( along with surgeries ) dr.kahn has allways informed me with my medical situation, he is very knowledgeable and has answered any question or concern that I have had with my life changing events(my body) dr. Dr. Khan is a tremendously experienced, practical, considerate-yet-decisive specialist. He sees many, many patients, so he is moving rather fast. If you have questions, ask them while he is standing still. He is solid.
