He listens and asks how you are doing with your medication. He is the best psychiatrist in south Jersey. He is a kind doctor and shows empathy & compassion to me. I have been seeing him for 8 years without any problems. There should be more doctors like him, Great doctors are hard to find.

overmedicated my father to the point of paralysis. cold and lacks compassion. Terrible doctor.

Dr. Neelgund charged for a full office visit when my husband was not able to attend as he was too sick. I was with him Not just a cancellation fee, but a full $200 charge. My husband was in the hospital the next day and never left the hospThis is just plain cheating.

Dr. Neelgund listens carefully and works as a partner in medication decisions rather than just filling out a prescription rotely.

Hello, I've been a patient of Dr Neelgund for 5 years. I was a patient of Dr Chu who was an excellent doctor and unfortunately passed away. Dr Neelgund I feel has a lot of the same qualities as Dr Chu, patient, caring, and available. I've never felt rushed and would highly recommend him.

I have been seeing Dr Neelgund for at least 5 years. Most of the time I feel that he is professional and caring. But sometimes he laughs at things that a mental health professional would describe as "inappropriate affect". I chalk it up to cultural differences. My previous doctor at this practice was Dr Chu. He had an extremely adverse reaction to a vaccination. He had to retire. Dr Chu was warm and very special. I miss him sometimes.

Accommodating and kind. His staff is wonderful.

Dr. Neelgund is not compassionate. He seems to blame the patient for his or her problems. He orders medications that do not work and will not change them after being so advised.
