Dr. Ashwin Gowda

I have been a patient of Dr Gowda's practice for over twenty years since he was on Bee Cave Road. It has deteriorated into a Patient Cash Mill. I was billed for a no-show on a video call with a PA in the midst of COVID when I was ill. I asked to speak to Dr. Gowda, which was refused by his staff. I am Paying the bill and quitting his practice, which I told the staff - that is how much Dr. Gowda values patient loyalty. This is a 0 Star practice - take your money and run once you see a doctor, you will never see him again.

I really never saw the doctor as everything was being done via telemedicine. He got on the virtual appointment for about 2 minutes the first time and not at all the second time. So I didn't get the feeling that I even had an appointment with the doctor despite being charged for a full appointment. But the worst part is after a medical device was prescribed and picked up, I have never been able to get in touch with this office. I had some problems I needed to straighten out and three weeks later (with about 3 phone messages and one e-mail) I have not even received a call back. This ranks as about the worst experience I have had with getting a response. I know it will be blamed on Covid - but I think three weeks is more than enough time for response - especially when dealing with medical. And I promptly paid my medical bill. Needless to say, I have switched to a new medical provider at this point.

Never wait more than 5 minutes. Doctors are wonderful, especially Monique, takes time to really listen, never hurries through any appointment. Asks relevent questions, remembers personal details from previous appointments and offers lots of options for your treatment. Includes you in any decision on how to proceed. I think this is a wonderful place to address any sleep problems. Highly recommended. I’ve been seeing them for years and don’t plan on switching doctors anytime soon.

I have been continually impressed with the care & concern given with each of my visits. With each visit I feel more in control & have received more confidence with the prescribed care.

The doctor his nurse practitioner and patient technician were helpful, professional and friendly. The doctor and nurse practitioner asked me many questions about my sleep problem. They both addressed my issues with deep concern. Explained the procedures that would be done during my sleep study. I highly recommend this practice!!!

I am eternally indebted to them for all that they have done to help me with my sleep problem. You would be in excellent hands if you decide to come here. They have an excellent staff that is caring and kind and especially professional and from that point on it only gets better.

Although I have only had one appointment with Dr. Gowda and his staff, my first impression was extremely favorable. Everyone from the check-in desk to the nurses to Monique and Dr. Gowda himself were friendly, helpful and professional. Everything was explained to me as far as what the procedures are for getting a diagnosis and possible plans of action once the diagnosis is cofirmed. I would highly recommend Dr. Gowda to any of my friends.

The office is extremely well run, the office staff and medical staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome, they take the time to listen and not rush you out of the office and are just genuinely nice, friendly and helpful individuals. First return visit after getting cpap machine. Visit went well. Have to get use to wearing it more often. Takes some getting use to.

Dr. Gowda's colleague, Monique Mulvaney is great! She will work with you to find solutions. She recognizes that each patient is unique and has indivualized needs; her approach to treatment reflects that. She's warm and caring, and she will find a way to help.

Great care and helpful in getting supplies and advice

Was first apprehensive of going due reviews. I was treat like a Queen from the moment I walked in and until I left. I first meant with NP Monique Mulvaney. She took a lot of time with me and is excellent. Then I meant with Dr. Gowda, he as well took a lot of time. They devised a plan for my issues and I felt, “ finally, someone understands “! I will continue to see them and I challenge the reviews I saw!! Everyone was EXCELLENT!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Gowda and Monique Mulvany for 2 years and have received very compassionate, high quality care. Iris at the front desk is always warm and friendly. I really feel like everyone there cares about my well being. If I need help, they answer their portal messages the same day. If I need to get in for an appointment, they can usually fit me in the same week, sometimes the same day!! It is truly unbelievable to get this high level of attention in a medical practice in 2018.

I found everyone very knowledgeable, and was pleased with my first visit. Everyone knew what they were doing so this was a great comfort to me.

Candace is awesome, and Debbie and the other lady working overnight when I did my sleepover were awesome too. They were really nice to me and made me as comfortable as I possibly could be, sleeping under a camera with a bunch of wires attached. Great job!
