I would NEVER recommend Dr. Rastogi to anyone! He is condescending and he recommended unnecessary treatment for my father and he even lied about the treatment saying that it is the same treatment that my father would get anywhere. We left Texas Oncology and went straight to MD Anderson in Houston and they did NOT recommend treatment!! I feel that Dr. Rastogi just wanted to make money off of my father and that the treatment would have killed him.

After visits to several doctors with my Mom.....we were finally sent to Rastogi , first visit, first blood work up, he isolated her problem. We did lose her 4 months later, but I really feel if only we had been sent to him earlier , she might still be with us...Love Him, just simply Love Him !!!!

Dr. Rastogi (Mr.) is very thorough, as are his PA's, and very easy to understand. He explained everything to me and took time to answer my questions. TX Oncology has a very good system worked out.

He was very quick to recommend a dubious and expensive medical procedure that a second opinion revealed was not necessary in my situation. He seemed to be obsessed with recommending this. He did not seem to have much, if any experience, treating a patient with this condition. He did not mention the patient had an option for a second opinion.
