Long story, too much to type, suffice to say~Dr. Henry, you are amazing, kind, sympathetic, and very professional. All md's could learn a thing or two from you. Thank you for the rx, after my suspension arthroscopy. You really are amazing!!

I've been with Dr Henry for several years. While I have no issue with him, there have been several times that my refills were not called in. I called, as required & left the refill message & yet no-one bothered to send the script, or return further calls to the nurses line. I understand if an office gets busy, but this has happened to many times & I'm tired of suffering because of it. Pain patients already have to beg to be treated, then ignored on a whim? The apathy in this office is just unreal.

I waited 2 months to get an appointment. Dr. Henry prescribed a medication and my insurance denied it. So I have left THREE MESSAGES to find out what's next and no one has called me back! I'm in daily pain and have no medicine! How can you treat a patient this way?!

I love Dr Henry and his staff. He listens, cares and very easy to speak to. I’ve been seeing him almost 20 years. I would definitely recommend him. If you follow his and NY state rules, you won’t have a problem. He is really tough, but needs to be.

If your follow his directions he’s the best doctor in the world! !!!!!!

For the first time in my entire life I will have my pain properly controlled. I have a complex connective tissue disorder that’s getting worse. Dr. Henry was absolutely amazing!!! He so nice, asked what I wanted to do, asked me what worked for me, and all around treated me like a person. He didn’t brush me off, he was so respectful, he is a great doc and a great asset to anyone healthcare professional team that is taking care of them!! Thank you Dr. Henry for giving me my life back!! Dr Henry is a very kind, ccompassionate and skilled pain management doctor. He has helped me cope with my pain for many years now. He is a consummate professional and his assistants are friendly and competent. I would recommend him to anyone suffering from chronic pain.

If you have chronic pain, don't go anywhere else. Every place I've taken My wife to has been dismissive of her pain because of her age or has been demeaning or otherwise treated her like she was some kind of criminal for no reason. So many providers are suspicious and self interested by default because of the opioid crisis (and not for no reason). However, this is the first place we've been to that has treated us like human beings. Dr henry and the PA we've been seeing, Kaitlyn, are compassionate, kind, caring, and everything that medical providers should be. It's like day and night comparing Dr henry to In Touch or any other pain management practice or really any kind of medical practice in the area. We often feel hopeless and desperate but every time we've left an appointment at this place we've felt hopeful and optimistic. This is a special place. If you have chronic pain, don't go anywhere else. If I could give them no stars I would. This place will discharge a patient without notice. Let someone who is in extreme pain daily suffer. I would not recommend this place at all.

First visit, assumed to know my condition and pushed injections. Went over some history and he documented it as having an allergy, totally didn't listen. I left very disappointed, but thought the 2nd visit would go better. WRONG! Instead of coming in to face me, he send in the P.A., whom after discussing the previous visit agreed, this doctor doesn't listen to his patients. I have spinal cord atrophy from c3-c7 that causes me severe pain, spasms, cramps, etc. Never listened and was going to inject with what and where? Rating based solely on his P.A. she is horrible. Shes terrible, nasty, and has the worst attitude and bed side manner. And she doesnt allow you to speak with Dr. HENRY when you request. Only wants to give you medical marijuana. Have to wait days sometimes weeks for call back. After 15 years of undiagnosed autoimmune diseases, my spine and back are in bad shape. Constant pain in my feet, arms and back. Doesnt give you anything to help with chronic pain. Tylenol with codeine or marijuana. Waited 7 months to get into this program which was so highly recommended by my rheumatologist.. very disappointing. Only wants to give you medical marijuana. I made my appointment three and a half months early because they were that backed up. My appointment was for Wednesday April 7th 2021.The day prior to my appointment ( 3 and a half months later) they called me up and told me because I have WellCare insurance they could not see me. I told them I had Independent Health, Tricare East and Medicare also but they told me to cancel my WellCare and they would see me. I should not have to cancel and insurance in order to be seen when I have four insurances. I see approximately 12 other doctors and they all use Independent Health as their primary and I have no problems with all other doctors. Because the one insurance that I have out of the for they do not like they want me to cancel it in order to be seen. This is how they treat retired military veterans. Excellent Dr in going back

Very nice man, made me feel very comfortable. Spent almost 2 years at ub nero and never saw any relief. After one appointment with Dr.henery my quality of life has increased by 1 thousand.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Henry today and for the first time since moving back to Buffalo I feel like myself again! Dr. Henry took the time to listen to me and took my chronic pain issues to heart and confirmed that I have legitimate pain! He treated me with respect and compassion! I have been with Dr Henry as needed for over 15 years. At one point he had me on 4 different drugs; within 6 weeks he had me down to 1 and my pain was under control! His new office (Dent Wehrle on George Karl) is spacious and all on ground level. Some people complain about Dr Henry's PA. I have never had a problem with her. Maybe----like most people----if you give her attitude, she gives it back! Be forewarned: you WILL be drug tested every visit to ensure you are not abusing your drugs, as per NYS mandate. This Staff are incompetent, the front desk thinks they are Doctors and the phone is useless, you call go to voicemail and never get anything back. This practice is for profit only they dont care about your health they want to put you on pain meds NAME Brand so they get kick backs from the pharmaceutical company. You may see the doctor once and enjoy dealing with fools for the rest of your time here, you wont get anywhere here, they are truly incompetent Its all about drugs here.

This doctor didn't care about you at all. All they care about is if you get weed that's the only way they make money. The PA should go back to school and learn how to treat people I hope I stop at least one person from going to see this doctor.

Dr. Henry’s office deserves ZERO stars! First off, they don’t answer the phone and so you always have to leave voicemails and wait for them to call you back. I even had to show up to the office one time because I needed to speak with someone. I am disgusted with the staff there and lack of care I have received. Dr. Henry did two successful back injections for me over the past few years. When the pain came back in April, I knew it was time for another injection. I had my appointment on April 30th where it was determined that I could get another injection but would probably need a repeat MRI (totally understandable). It is now June 20th and I haven’t had my injection nor am I even scheduled for one. I haven’t even had my MRI yet due to their incompetent staff who could care less about a patient in chronic pain! My request for an MRI was denied because of the lack of info sent by Dr. Henry’s office. All they wrote were three words: low back pain. That’s it! No mention of the sciatic pain shooting down my leg, the difficulty I have with walking/sitting/standing/sleeping, or that I am already being treated by a chiropractor and massage therapist and not getting any better. I know my body and I know that injections work for me. I reached out to the NIA directly on 5/21 since I wasn’t getting a call back from Dr. Henry’s office. The NIA explained to me that if Dr. Henry called them and did a peer to peer discussion, then they could approve the MRI request. Dr. Henry never did this for me! I asked the office staff to at least send the NIA more information regarding my pain and the treatments I have already tried. I even had my chiropractor and massage therapist send Dr. Henry’s office their notes on my treatment. I talked to someone in Dr. Henry’s office 2 weeks ago and they told me he would be doing the peer to peer discussion so that my MRI could get approved. I called the NIA today and the request has been officially denied because they never received anything from Dr. Henry’s office and he never did the peer to peer! At this point, I am done! I will never ever ever go back here or recommend Dr. Henry to anyone! They have wasted 7 weeks of my time that I will never get back. Dr. Henry’s office deserves ZERO stars! This doctor could kill you due to his lack of knowledge of pain medications and medical conditions. He shouldn't have a license never mind a practice at Dent.

Wow, I thought it was only me feeling this way about Dr Henry, don't get me wrong I love Dr Henry but since he went to dent I have had nothing but headaches, and I was given a PA and boy she is so rude and nasty. Them I asked if I could see Dr Henry and was told no cuz he only see new people, I have so many problems getting meds, you have to call in a week ahead and when I called the drug store they didn't get the script. Now the lastest is at my last visit I didn't get a urine test through no fault of my own they failed to give it to me anyway I called my meds and and then was told that I couldn't get them cuz of no piss test, so I went through withdrawal and now in such terrible pain, no meds. But before that some guy (rude) said I have to come in and provided them with pee, but I have had so many things go wrong, number one but husband had to go to the hospital next I live an hour and half from the dent towers and I can't drive so that was impossible, then I became very sick with an infection so this guy told me no meds, so so so mad. He joined Dent and sold out. Now he does medical marijuana (for which there are no criminal repercussions, yet), and denies pain medication to all of his former patients, while allowing Dent Administration to treat his patients like dirt. Such a sell out. I thought he was a good doctor until I found out my kidneys were failing, and the drugs tests which revealed such kidney failure were never provided nor reported to me. When I inquired as to why I was never told about this issue, repeatedly, for 6 months, I was fired as a patient. Dent as a whole is now run by a group of millionaires who are all about the money. Unfortunately, this knocks off a long list of neurologists and specialists who had become part of a medical group that conveniently put everything in one place. However, now, you need to filter through the medical listings to find independent doctors or you will be treated like a number, dehumanized, belittled, and/or ignored. Update: Dr. Henry's office performed a drug test without excluding the known prescriptions, vitamins, or over the counter medications in order to ascertain illicit drugs, and then "fired me" as a patient, without any explanation, after requiring the signing of a 7 page pain management agreement that tells me what I can eat, drink, etc. requires you to be available within 2 hours of a phone call, and requires you to constantly report in where you are. Perhaps he is being sued. Beware!

Dr. Henry prescribes my father 150 opioid pills every month, and he has been addicted for five years now. Every month is a rollercoaster. He goes through waves of being high/dopey/falling asleep standing up, to manic where he starts a million projects around the house and barely sleeps, to going through withdrawal and being irate. This has completely destroyed our relationship and continuously tears our family apart. I don't understand how a doctor can be so irresponsible and oblivious.

Completely incompetent staff. Waited two hours for my first appointment. They "lost" my second appointment and was told there wasn't nothing I could do. Penny, at the front desk, doesn't have a clue. She is rude and gives misinformation.

I showed up for a scheduled appointment today (that I waited two months for), and was turned away, because his previous office staff (which were rude, and exteremely incompetent) didn't in-put my appointment correctly for the new office. I intend on billing Dr. Ashraf Henry, $50.00 for my missed appointment. On my previous visit, I spent over two and a half hours in the the waiting room, all to basically advocate for my own care. Horrible Doctor, horrible Staff, don't waste your time here.

Dr. Henry is the best doctor I have out of 7 of them. He has great bedside manners. The office staff I love penny and Jen .. I like talking to penny cause she makes me feel like there is light at the end of my problems. I'm a very persitant person but they are always nice and understanding....I wouldn't trade them for anything... Thank you for letting me express myself... Lisa Morris
