This office is so GREEDY they won’t see me now because my insurance doesn’t “pay enough”. I was a patient there many years ago and Janet just told me that my office visit records were “purged and no longer available “. However, they do still have my “billing records” which of course were paid in full a long time ago! She even called me a liar and she said I didn’t have an EMG done in the office while I was describing it in detail! OMG I’m so angry with these greedy doctors when I’m suffering and don’t know what to do next. As I recall, this dr. wasn’t any good anyway (see other reviews) but I’m desperate! Trusted care for my wife. Took care of needed referrals. We're in good hands. Office staff has been very helpful. Nearly ten years now.

From the moment we walked in we were treated with rudeness and difference. The two women at the front desk were beyond rude. This was a reflection of the indifference that this doctor shows the patients.

My wife had a seizure about 40 years ago and has been taking seizure medication since then, with no further seizure activity. She would like to tapper and perhaps get off of her seizure medication. When she asked Dr. Sunku about that, her response was, "If you do not want to be compliant, I won't renew your prescription." All as she was walking out the door. My wife asked about her blood work (that Dr. Sunku ordered), but she kept walking and went out the door. I have been an RN for 27 years, mostly in SICU and she is an SLP for about the same amount of time. We have both seen a lot of things before, but never to this extent. On the previous visit she wanted a brain CT stating, your seizure could have been from a slow growing brain tumor. (Possibly, but for 40 years.?) She did have the CT done - result was all normal. Take a guess why she has not been back to see her. I would like to use my French, but, what a quack.

Made huge mistake with medication

Absolutely worst doctor I have ever been too. Completely dismissed my concerns about my condition even after two abnormal MRI scans and a potential MS diagnosis. Told me today that absolutely anyone is at risk of developing MS at some point and acted like my concerns were irrational. I have never been so close to just walking out of an appointment. I will NEVER go back. Find ANYONE else, the bum on the corner would be more concerned about your medical state than she or her office staff are. Absolutely worst doctor I have ever been too. I think Dr Sunku is a very smart lady and has done a good job treating me. The office staff however are horrible! I just called with a concern and was treated veroffices! Over the phone. I was put on hold and when she thought she had answered a call from another patient she was pleasant but as soon as she realized it was me she was very rude again. This is not the first experience I have had like that with this office. As a matter of fact every time I have had to deal with the front office from my very first appointment they have been horrible. I've only seen Dr. Sunku 3 times so far. I find her to be pleasant but she doesn't report back on test results. She's also kind of vague and doesn't explain things thoroughly. I'll reserve final judgment for later, after I've seen her a few times.

Dr Sunku is a joke. As a former paramedic I could do as much as her. My wife BSRN for 44 years Sunku is a joke. Referral, Referral Refferal. The staff is rude and a joke.

The office staff are horrible. They state they only take cash, so I took cash and then they don't have any change. Sent me away to get exact change, and when I returned, they cancelled my appointment and claimed I was rude. I never even made it to the doctor.

The office staff are extremely Passive aggressive, the short older women who wears the high heels is the worst! They are completely rude and degrading about receiving payment, they will roll eyes, sigh dramatically and talk smack behind their plexiglass guard in earshot of everyone with no shame. Sunku is money hungry and only out to line her pockets. She is also incredibly hard to understand. The staff were very nice. The doctor was very pleasant and very thorough with her exam. I feel really comfortable going to her.

Was treated for a neurological condition or 2+ years. No improvement. Searched HealthGrades and found a specialist in seizures in Denver. On first visit, was told to immediately stop taking presctiption prescribed by Dr. Sunku. Traveling 2-hours each way is worth it!

The lady who answers this phone is down right rude and I hope I never have to be referred again bbecaus it was absolutely ridiculous the way she spoke to me.

The worst experience EVER!!! Office personal and The woman who calls herself a neurologist. I wouldn't recommend anybody to this place. No help at all!!! If it were an option I would give her a Zero !!!

Knowledgeable, respectful & professional. Has been my neurologist for years. She is direct which I appreciate. Office staff are easy to work with. This is the right fit for me.

The Doc is great! She got my diagnosis correct when the other Neurologist was completely wrong. And the ladies in the office are polite, professional and friendly. Under different circumstances I would be happy to see them

If I could rate a zero I would! DX’d with MS, she never ONCE in I’ve a year went over MRI’s w/ me. For my medication she told me to “look through the magazines in the waiting room and pick one”. I now travel from Trinidad CO to Denver for my treatment. I learned more in 15 minutes there than I did in a YEAR with her! My suggestion is-run like your life depends on it, it may!

The lady running the office is 100% RUDE!!!! Took me months to still no appt. They lost my referral twice, after I VERIFIED they had it twice. Then said they needed to get the referral to the Doc to review. Dunno why? Just said evaluate for ET??? Unreal. More than two months and they have lost my referral AGAIN. This is worse than the VA. A person could die waiting for this Doc

The girls who answer the phone/receive referrals are the rudest I have EVER dealt with. I am not only a referred patient, but a healthcare provider as well. That office will never get a referral for one of my patients. I would give zero stars if that were an option.

I found Dr. Sunku to be very thorough and professional. She ordered appropriate testing and consults with other doctors when necessary. I would definitely recommend her to my family and friends. Two family member are also seeing her.

I have known Dr Sunku for 30 years. she has always been a very thorough and caring physician, with the patient's best interests as her goal. I have referred many patients to her over my career in Pueblo. I have seen her for medical issues myself, as has my wife. She has always thoroughly examined us, taken a good history, carefully reviewed xrays and lab tests, and always given us ample time for questions and her impressions. Pueblo is very fortunate to have her here!!!!!!!!

Rude & unprofessional office. Dr. Sunku was unable to understand my situation & ended my appointment. She is very rude. Please find another doctor. Don't waste your time trying to find parking only to be disappointed with your appointment. Will not return.

Billing is extremely rude, I've been blamed for their mistakes, Dr. Sunku doesn't listen to me and is only interested in what my husband has to say... But only partially listens to him, and she could make a decision if her life depended on it. Very disappointed.

My mother saw Dr Sunku after having a stroke. After being realeased from a hospital in Loveland mom had to come stay with me. None of the doctors she saw in the hospital did anything to find out why she had her hemmoragic stroke. Dr. Sunku took the time to find out why and diagnosed her. My mom is 80 yrs old. She did a good job of explaining things to us. My mom is now fine and at home. I think Dr. Sunku cares and we apprciate everything she has done for my mom.

Dr. Sunku was through in her exam, acted quickly to do all tests and made time in her busy day to sit down with me to share results. she is competent, insightful, through and kind.

Office staff is apathetic and patient care is lacking. Dr. Sunku is always in a hurry and does not explain condition or treatment thoroughly. We never feel like she has any time to answer questions, and rushes you out of there.
