Dr. Aruna Chakrala

Best Dr. ever! I have been going to Dr. Chakrala for years now, and I always feel like I am talking to a family-member who genuinely cares about my well-being and emotions! She asks the right questions, gives enough time to hear concerns, and provides the proper treatment! I was recently diagnosed with renal cancer, and I thank Dr. Chakrala for catching it early and saving my life. When she discovered abnormality in my lab results during annual physical exam, she pushed me to get the nephrologist appt and the ultrasound test done ASAP. She not only referred me to a Nephrologist but also contacted the nephrologist to get the earliest appointment. She even connected with the Urologist to ensure that I got the best treatment. I have not seen or heard of any other doctor who can go to this extent to care for their patients. I am incredibly grateful to her. Her team/staff (especially Nafeesa & Jayshree) is wonderful and attentive as well. Very friendly and caring! Highly recommend!!

Great family practice! I have been going to Dr Chakrala for past 20 years. Both Dr Chakrala and Dr Buddala are excellent doctors! Special shout out to Suha, the lady who does the covid tests. She is very pleasant, professional and very efficient . Promptly gets back to you with results . She’s been a great help !!

Unprofessional. Lots of misinformation. Uncooperative when approached with needing info for insurance. No bedside manner and very rough. Impossible to reach on the phone.

I am so upset with the way treat the patients. It’s more business than patients wellness for Dr Chakrala. When go for physical she will not even go through patients history, and shows no interest to find your heath condition. Blood work, physical, Pap test, follow up on blood work, referral, for single thing you have to visit her separately. Even if the test result is in front of her and you are present in the office she will not disclose it, ask you to come back to find out about it. She does not care about your health or convenience, she only cares how many different times she can bring you to her office so she can bill your insurance. Read the reviews, other people has complained about her greed for money.

I had an appointment at Dr. Aruna Chakrala's Monroe, NJ office for 9 a.m. on Sunday, 9/27/20 (which the doctor's office reconfirmed on Friday via voicemail as 9:15 a.m. at the Monroe office). However, after about 40 minutes waiting I eventually learned that they decided at last minute to work from their Plainsboro NJ office that day instead--but no one from their office bothered to alert me of this and they initially tried to make it seem as if I had the wrong information (but because I have their vm proof that's when they started to accept responsibility). In any case, if they can be this incompetent with lack of proper/timely communication for last minute schedule changes (and initially trying to pin the error on me), I cringe to think what else they can err with going forward, that could possibly be detrimental to me. I will not be patronizing the doctor, because of her office's unprofessionalism, inconsideration and inefficiency.

However, no one was at the Monroe office when I got there for 9 a.m. I called at 9:04 and left a message that I was there and received a voicemail from the office well after 9:30 a.m. saying they are waiting on me at the Plainsboro NJ office. I tried to call back, but couldn't reach a live person and then a female representative at the office called me shortly after saying she just got my message that I was at the Monroe office, and initially she tried to make it sound as if I went to the wrong office as if I had done something wrong (stating that they were waiting on me and wondering where I am for my 9:15 a.m.). The audacity! I told her the office location was to be Monroe and I have their confirmation voicemail to corroborate it; then she finally explained that they made a last minute decision to be at the Plainsboro office that day; and if I want I could come in anytime that day to that Plainsboro office. So, if I had no voicemail proof I guess they would not have accepted accountability and acknowledged their office's screw up? More importantly, even if a last minute change had to be made--no one was professional or courteous enough to contact me that morning, prior evening or the minute the decision was made . I will never patronize a doctor whose office is incompetent at something as simple as scheduling and communication, because there is no telling what bigger mistakes can be made in the future that might be to my health's detriment. My aunt recently experienced almost losing her life when her doctor's staff put erroneous medical info in her file, which her doctor gave a prescription based on that incorrect info and it nearly cost my aunt's life. And, that doctor and office tried to brush it under the rug and not accept responsibility. So, for me this experience with Dr. Aruna Chakrala's office's scheduling incompetence and/or lack of communication about changes is a red flag, and I will not reschedule ever with them. - KWA

Dr chakrala is the best doctor in town for sure! I switched from another doctor on the insistence of my friend and it was the best choice i had made. Staff are very friendly and dr is very good in her diagnosis and analysis.

I found Dr Aruna Chakrala as the Best Internist in Mercer county area. We were so impressed by her Professionalism, generosity, compassion, friendly nature and openness. She gives us enough time to explain and thinks through our problems and answers all our questions very patiently. She has unearthed one of my hidden, severe health issue recently, by her excellent diagnostic, analytical and patient caring skills, which otherwise would have posed a grave threat to my survival. I was able to get all of the extra care and tests that I'm sure most doctors wouldn't take the time to do. She went out of the way to help me overcome the problem with a lightning speed and in the best possible way. I am thankful to Dr. Aruna Chakrala for correctly diagnosing and treating me well, in-time. When needed she responds personally over phone. Dr. Chakrala maintains a clean and pleasant office. Her office staff are responsive, courteous and are very friendly. I would strongly recommend her to anyone.

Dr Chakrala and her staff are awesome. Dr Chakrala is very knowledgeable, experienced and very well versed in her field. Above all she is a very compassionate doctor who puts her patients and their needs above all. Her staff Nafeesa, Aneet and Jayshree are very well trained , friendly and very responsive. Have known them for years and am so happy with the practice. Highly recommend Dr Chakrala and the practice. Seven stars for sure ?????????????? .

I want to express my sincere appreciation for the promptness and professional care given to me. Our experience at this facility was of the quickest and best we have ever encountered. Traveling from PA to NJ for patient care speaks volume about Dr Aruna and her care for her patients. She quickly diagnosed what was wrong with me while it was not resolved by our previous doctors. An hour travel for my care shows the kind of faith we have in her.

Dr. Chakrala is the most compassionate doctor I have ever known. Her office staff are equally warm and kind. Dr Chakrala has been my PCP for more than 15 years. I feel at home with her and her staff members. In this time and age we need more compassionate doctors like her. Good physician treats disease, Great Physician treats the patients who has the disease. Blessed to know her.

I am patient of Dr. Aruna Chakrala for last 12 years. I have Type 2 diabetes with A1C sugar as high as 12. She really helped me to get my A1C under control and I am right now at below 6 which is at the border of non-diabetec. She is really passionate and helped me throughout to bring my sugar under control and make me healthy again. I would highly recommend her for your medical needs.

She is very friendly and finest doctor I have ever met. She is most accurate in her diagnosis and prescribing medicine. I have associated with her since last 9 years and I feel so fortunate that I have such accurate primary physician to take care of my and my family heath.

Dr Chakrala treated me for a keloid and the treatment began working over a few days and the doctors were very patient and extremely kind. They also treated my mom as well and gave her the treatment she needed. I would highly recommend Dr Chakrala.

I am the Patient of Dr. Aruna Chakrala from last 10 years and I am very happy with the care given to me. Every time I go visit Doctor office, the front office staff receives me with smile on their face. Dr. Aruna Chakrala is an expertise in her field and she handles the patients with care. She spend time in understanding the patient's problems and with lot of patience answers the questions and concerns of the patients. I some times miss my bills and billing dept reminds on my bills.

Dr Chakrala has taken care of my wife and I for about 10 years. She has always taken time to hear our concerns. She makes suggestions on our medical care with intelligent insight. We trust her proven guidance and happy to be under her care.

More than a doctor she pretends to be a cosmetologists.The office staff are worst there ecg machines never works. The billing department are the worst.

Dr. Chakrala has been our family doctor for over a decade now. We have been very happy with her services. The staff, particularly, Nafisa, has been outstanding. Nafisa is extremely helpful and courteous. Her friendly attitude and attention to details makes her a very pleasant and competent professional.

Dr. Chakrala is a great doctor and very nice. Each visit she takes the time to go over my results and recommends appropriate treatment. The office staff is very cooperative and helpful, especially Jayshree and Nafiza.

I've been going to Dr. Chakrala's office for the last few years and it has been a great experience. The staff is very polite and courteous. All of the doctors are very thorough and explain what's going on well. Overall, I would recommend Dr. Chakrala to others.

She is THE WORST doctor I have ever seen, she always thinks about money and how to get it. she never asks what patient needs and does whatever she needs and bills for it. I will never ever recommend her to any patients.

Dr Chakrala is very knowledgeable, has a lot of book knowledge however when it comes to giving practical suggestions she is not up to the par. My spouse visited her and voiced her concerns on lack of energy and lethargy , instead of assessing the cause she suggested running on a thread mill. Sometimes she pushes for uncalled medications which is indicates unethical practice.

Dr.Chakrala is the best doctor we ever met. She is great, kind, caring, and compassionate doctor. She takes the time to really listen to you and makes you feel comfortable.
