GREAT PSYCHIATRIST; KNOWS GERIATRIC MEDICATION! Dr. Rosecan stepped in at a time my 90 year old mother's so-called " geriatric specialist" was in over her head. This physician told me she had nothing more to contribute, and URGED me to take Mom to a psychiatrist but could not recommend one. Through the elder-care community, I discovered that Dr. Rosecan comes highly recommended, in terms of medication for dementia & depression, which is what Mom suffers from. Rosecan, who is expert in these areas, made two adjustments that saved Mom from being highly agitated caused by a 'mistake' her primary care made. Right after, Mom was suffering and Dr. Rosecan - who in terms of medication believes less is more - eliminated one drug the primary had put her on and recommend another, that the primary had denied Mom, that Mom had asked for. So he eliminated one drug, and replaced it with a more effective one. The results caused Mom to sleep much better, and her agitation abated.

I came extremely close to death one time under his care in Loudon Hospital. He prescribed two medications that made me lose over 20 lbs in two weeks, put me in a comprise state, gave me kidney failure and severe abnormal brain functioning registered with EEG tests. I was rushed to intensive care and spent three days getting dialysis's. It took me over two months to resume my normal state. And this all happened while I was an inpatient under his care. He also banned me from going back to hospital
