I visited on 01/03/2023 for my eye examination. front desk was super helpful and informative, I was helped by Hala and she was fantastic to work with. coming to Doctor Arthur, very very informative, gone through my eye ball scanning and explained clearly about my present eye condition. will definitely recommend.

Amazing friendly people , I have been rounding around in too many different optometrist and to get the right frame size for my toddler. It was so hard and i had to get couple of bigger frames for my toddler until i found Dr. Arthur Eleftherio . I had reasonably good care experiences here in the past. However, today this morning I arrived for an appointment and there were 3 people in that little office not wearing masks (or wearing them around their necks) - including an employee. I canceled my appointment and left. It's really disappointing when you can't count on your eye doc (or their staff be) to follow guidelines in order to - at a minimum - be considerate of the well being of their patients. I will not be returning nor will my family - and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone after this this experience. I had reasonably good care experiences here in the past. Best eye doctor I've ever had, and I have been seeing eye doctors for over 30 years. I found Dr. Eleftherio 22 years ago after moving to Northern Virginia shortly after graduating from college. I was immediately impressed by his thoroughness, and the care he took to explain the science behind my vision problems. All other eye doctors I've been to since I was 12 kept treating the symptoms of my near-sightedness / astigmatism with stronger and stronger prescriptions - this led to my eyesight worsening over time. Dr. Eleftherio actually improved my vision by taking a more holistic approach using Visual Therapy to change behaviors that had been worsening my eyes. He encouraged me to do regular "eye exercises" to relax and train them. This resulted in improved peripheral and distance vision after several months of Visual Therapy under his guidance. Even after ending VT, my improved prescription has remained stable due to changed behaviors. Over the years, Dr. Eleftherio has taught me some of the science and history behind worsening eyesight in the modern-day era vs. past civilizations and it really helps put into perspective how many current physicians treat symptoms and not root causes. I consider myself lucky to have found a doctor who truly cares about improving quality of life thru better eyesight, not just selling glasses and contacts. Even though I've moved several times, I refuse to go to anyone but Dr. Eleftherio, and now my son and husband see him too. The rest of the practice is wonderful, they are like family. Susan is always welcoming, and her staff is flexible and helpful with appointments and logistics. Susan is not only a great optician but knowledgeable about insurance coverage, differences in various eyeglass/contacts, and eyecare in general - she offers smart, pragmatic advice. He takes his time and gives me the best prescription possible. He takes the time to show me any abnormalities in the structure of my eyes. I hope he never retires.

I have double vision from a botched sinus surgery 3 years ago. Dr. Eleftherio is the first doctor who meticulously explored my options, explained everything to look for in my retina exam, and was exceedingly patient with all my questions.
