Dr. Dasgupta removed a hefty 15-inch tumor from my abdomen and cleaned up the gunk that spread to my lungs. She's cool!

Dr. Desgupta was wonderful with my 16 year old. After everyone being on the fence whether he had an appendicitis or not. She came in and looked him over stated she was doing the surgery. She was wonderful. She found he did have an appendicitis after everyone was dragging their feet saying he may not! She also found sone other things we have to work on with his weight and came and discussed them with my son so he knew its a priority. Thank you for the wonderful care!! Dr. Dasgupta was our son's surgeon, at 3 months of age, when he was diagnosed with Hirschsprung's Disease. She's a good enough surgeon, but too proud to listen to the parents, and she is NOT a team player. We tried to get her to consult with fellow surgeons and she was extremely resistant. She tried blaming is for my son's lack of progress. After 5 months of doing colonic irrigations on our son twice daily, with no further progress, we sought another opinion from the head of the department. He was willing to try Botox and within 24 hours, our son was stooling on our own. 5 months of medically traumatizing (on both our son AND us) irrigations that could have been 100% avoided...
