My appointment yesterday was more then I expected. The staff was very warm and welcoming and I felt at ease right away. But it didn't stop there, Dr Puttagunta was very attentive Her questions and concerns about my health made me feel like she really cared and that I was more then just another patient. Absolutely the finest professional I am priviledged to have as my Endocrinologist. Very patient, very thorough, listens carefully, diagnosis and prescribed course of treatment has helped me exponentially.

I have been a Diabetes 1 patient of Dr. Puttagunta for many years. I have total trust and confidence in her knowledge and experience dealing with my particular issues. Regarding my condition, she responds to all of my questions and concerns with thorough, understandable answers while being kind and considerate. She's the BEST!!

If you have PCOS, I highly recommend you see another endocrinologist. She appears to know very little about the condition.

Went to her for my thyroid to see if I needed to change medications because my hair is still falling out at a rapid rate. She basically told me that since I have already been on a thyroid medication for over a year , she could not help me because we arent starting from the very beginning. I asked what I was suppose to do then , she said to go back to my primary and see if she had some answers . I highly suggest you find anpther doctor within this practice . Dr Puttagunta takes her time, listens to your answers and will develop an detailed patient specific plan. As an RN I have observed her with many patients and haven chosen her for my own personal physician.

Dr P sees my 93 yo dad, who developed diabetes a few years ago. He was terrified of having to cope with it at his age. She put him at ease and gave him confidence to deal with it. At every appointment, she makes him feel reassured, confident, and cared for. She has a lovely way of interacting. Knows what she is doing, and takes the time to get to know us. On time appointment. Listened, asked good questions. Provided explanation on why I had the symptoms I am having and how it corresponded to my blood work results. Provided course of action and needed follow up.

Dr. Puttagunta is all that I could ask for in a physician. She's thorough, knowledgeable, and caring. I appreciate her many efforts to make a visit to her office an excellent one.

Dr. Puttagunta was the one who diagnosed that I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis through a series of blood test; although, was not very understanding with me when I DID NOT want to have my thyroid totally removed, at her recommendation. It was NOT a "do it or die" situation for me, Thank God, so I wanted to hold off and see if the nodule would change in size; by making lifestyle changes and diet. She then released me back to my Family Practitioner; even though I wanted to have her monitor me yearly.

Horrible! She would only run the TSH for thyroid tests despite pleading for her to do more and I sent her thyroid tests that showed abnormalities. Dismissed me as depressed. Stay away! I was diagnosed properly with a thyroid disease by a good endocrinologist.
