My experience with Dr. Silva-Sayago was the worst interpersonal interaction I've had with any doctor in my adult life. He seemed defensive from the moment I arrived, as if I had insulted him by walking in the room. It appeared to be a strain to show me basic courtesy, as if I was unworthy of his respect but he was going through the motions. His energy was hostile. He spoke to me as if I was stupid (I have graduate degrees). He was dismissive, cut me off when I spoke, explained none of his conclusions, and expressed little care about or interest in the symptoms I was describing. The visit was ultimately unhelpful and brought no added clarity. I would go to great lengths to never have to be his patient again.

Not very helpful. I was under his care for a year and received no real help for my condition basically to just suck it up and go to PT. I recently got a second opinion with a new neurologist and it’s likely I’ve had an autoimmune disease the whole time. So sad I wasted my time with this doctor

Dr.Silva is just there to receive a paycheck, he doesn't care about his patient's as soon as you disagree with him, he will get upset with you and not give you proper treatment to correct your health concerns...

Dr Silva is medically incompetent when it comes to migraine treatment and should be avoided.

I saw dr. silva today. Within the first 30'seconds of meeting him and begin to discuss my illness, he cuts me off and gives me this arrogant cold tone. He didn't want to hear about my "headache" that I associated with my twitching eye... After a few basic questions about my body twitch/spasms he said I didn't understand what a headache was... When describing my twitching/tingling sensation throughout my body, he acted as if I was exaggerating. Very unprofessional to say the least

(I saw Silva at Sutter Health in Berkeley, CA.) Silva's incomplete (and hence inaccurate) chart notes and his (or his staff's) inability to communicate information from me to Silva put my health at risk. He ignored anything I had to say about my experience with various medications that I had tried over the past fifteen years. He does not reply in a timely manner, and treats patients as adversaries.
