Dr. Mesa Is brilliant… He knows exactly what the problems are and fixes them… Procedures are not easy but they work!!!! He goes right for the problem.

I had a great first visit with Dr. Mesa. The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Dr. Mesa was friendly, patient, and answered all my questions. He was not in a rush to see another patient or dismissive. He listened to my concerns, thoroughly examined me, explained his diagnosis after reviewing my records, respected my concerns about going in a non-conservative approach, and went over a treatment plan. I was very impressed and left the office optimistic that I'm reaching the end of the tunnel with this sciatica nerve pain that I've been dealing with for over 2 months.

I have been waiting for a call back for 10 days now.

Horrible service. Didn’t even get to meet Mesa because the nurse assistant was so rude. Guys go elsewhere. Not your normal doctor. Worst service ever.

Lived in Miami Beach drove all the way to doctors office after giving my insurance information before and when I arrived they informed that the dr is not in the Florida Blue contract, terrible!!!! why didn't the office clerk checked before?????? my husband is 92 took him with me cannot leave him alone he was very very tired and for nothing. Dr.Mesa thank you for seeing me for the first time today. You took the time to answer all of my questions and you took alot of anxiety off my back. My wife wait 5 weeks to get an appointment with this doctor, the office staff never informed my that they do not accept my health plan. Upon arrival to this medical appointment she was informed of the above. Even when I offered to pay a co-pay they refused. This place is the worst place that I have ever visited.

Went there with my grandma. It’s the worst office I have ever been too . The staff is absolutely the worst I have ever seen . Avoid at all cost !!!

Dr Mesa and his staff are absolutely wonderful they are caring compassionate, professionals and all around the best in Miami .

I recommend Dr Mesa to anyone. I refer to Dr Mesa as Dr House, if you’ve never seen the show, House and his staff are notorious for figuring out what is wrong with the most difficult diagnosis. I cried when he couldn’t see me anymore, due to his specialized treatment being pain and not MS. I referred a friend that spent 10 years seeing dr after dr and nor knowing what was going on. I made her an appointment (after my glowing recommendation) and within 5 minutes with Mesa diagnosed her correctly and had her tested ASAP to confirm diagnosis before referring her to a cardiologist. I had accute back pain, Dr Mesa performed nerve blocking by injection with flouroscopic guidance. Dr. Mesa showed up several hours late on both ocassions (I had two injections). Second injection was innecessary since pain had subsided with the first injection. Later on I needed the records and his office did not answer any of my calls or Emails. Office staff is rude and unprofessional. I'l give one star because zero stars is not an option

Awful, HORRIBLE staff attention, is not the one that always is in the front desk, was the other one, this girl gave me hard time just because 1st she wasn't able to locate my appoinment info and then when she finally could, after I said of course I do have an appoinment (aparently is Monday and her co worker has not get the office yet) so she is already in a bad mood because of that, ok she found it and realized I was there because a car accident she started asking me in a really really bad bad way about the letter saying that my claim is closed, I said I didn't have it, she start to get more pisst off and saying that then I can't be seen in there. She start fighting with me. And in top of that an old woman was there and ask me to help her to fill the paperwork of course I did and when this girl realized she open the window and told me that I had to fill my own of course again in a really rude way. I went to Dr.Mesa for chronic back leg and cpps he was nice and performed nerve blocks and medicine that was helpful,how ever no instructions or follow up was offered after my procedure,I was in severe pain and spent 2 days calling his office,leaving messages which I believe were never passed on to him.His staff asked me if I had nothing better to do then call the office and bother them.Then a staffmember named Thania told me they have done all they can for me. So basically don't bother us anymore.They showed no empathy or compassion for a patient with chronic pain.They should not be working for a pain specialist. Dr. Mesa has been my pain management doctor for a long time. He has made me functional again and I owe him my ability to get up everyday without pain. Even surgery couldn’t give me the results his treatment did. Thank you.

They make staff wait hours before being seen. My wife waited 4-hours for one appointment. They schedule you to see the Dr., but you actually never get to see him only the assistant. When my wife complained about waiting over 1-hour for her last visit., she was questioned by the staff why she did not come back earlier even though she showed up early to the apt., then they kicked her out of the office without seeing her. Am one of he's pt for the last 2 years I wouldn't go there if wasn't because of the Dr he's staff are very unprofessional,they laugh behind your back. No respect for other people pain.

Dr. Mesa is a good doctor, he takes time with his patients explaining the reason for the pain., that is why the waiting period is long. Unfortunately, the treatment didn't work for me.

My name is Felisa Tregent I am now a patient of Dr. Antonio Mesa is by far the most thorough, medically knowledgeable and compassionate neurologist that has ever treated me. I live with daily back pain, Dr. Mesa is the only physician who has manage to put me in a treatment plan. Dr. Mesa is one of the most genuine people I have ever known. His sense of humor makes me feel at ease, His positive attitude is inviting and literally brightens up your day. I completely trust him with my health.

Extremely educated, spends time explaining the diagnosis and any questions you may have. The wait time was not bad but well worth it.

Very disappointed with this clinic. Receptionist are Incompetent. Worst doctor office. I wish I can give no star

Beware of the extremely long waiting time in the lobby... however, it is well worth the wait. He gives you 100% of his attention, however long it takes. That's why the long wait. Dr. Mesa is fantastic.

DR Mesa was wonderful. i had a rare nerve condition and he took the time to explain what was going on in detail and drew diagrams & put it in a way that I could truly understand what was going on. Every experience I had there was wonderful. Yes there was a wait, but that is typically like that at most Dr offices. There is a long wait, but that is because when he is with you, he takes his time. The visit is not rushed. He makes sure your concerns are heard and you understand everything.

Dr. Mesa is excellent. Some of the office staff, like Tania, Hilda, and the PA are also very good. I just couldn't get pass the surgery scheduler, Nicole. I'd call her to schedule me for a shot and she would never call me back with the day and time. So I went somewhere else. By the way, all offices for pain management doctors are always packed with patients.

Dr. Mesa discovered immediately by"LOOKING" at my MRI "SCAN" what was wrong with me and where my pain was coming from. Prior to his visit; two other doctors and a chiropractor had exactly the same information but said there was "insignificant results." They only "READ" the MRI report. I was in a tremendous amount of pain. I did exactly what Dr. Mesa recommended and had a procedure followed up with my own therapy, stretching and exercises and have been pain free for over a 1-1/2 yrs.

Had to leave after 40 minutes of wait time. Have severe backpain and cannot sit in a hard chair for an extended time. Waiting room crowded and dirty.

The staff from hell to say the least. Received injections, no follow up by their office, and when I asked them for a refill of my pain medication they demanded that I make a appointment to get it. WHAT? $70 co-pay, then send in their $200 insurance claim just to get a refill. Now that is what I call insurance fraud, not to mention that they truly don't care about their patients well being. Doctor will not take phone call, staff rude as hell.....Gotta be the worst office I ever saw..pain still there! And I believe I should never had told your staff I am jewish; I feel like I fell into the hands of Dr. Joseph Mengele's support staff. I was very happy with the attention I received from not only the Dr. but also from the Whole staff. Very professional kind. Would recommend highly. As for the prior reviews they must have been in a different office. .

The nurse from Dr. Mesa's office just hung up on me while I was requesting copies of my records from failed epidural shots that I received there. This is a good place to go if you're looking for an extremely rude nurse - they definitely have one at this location. Also, the women in the reception part of the office are absolutely the WORST that I have encountered anywhere in my entire life. Save time and money and avoid this office and this Doctor. I have wasted precious time and money - only to find myself still in pain, and being hung up on by the nurse.
