I had a Robotic Myomectomy done 6 years ago at Brigham Women's Hospital, Boston by Dr. Gargiulo. No issues since then. Now i moved to NJ and still went back to Dr. Gargiulo to do a hysteroscopic polypectomy. Both surgeries went extremely well, recovery was smooth. Dr. Gargiulo explained me my condition well, explained me how he will perform the surgery. Would definitely recommend Dr Gargiulo. I am happy with his treatment. Thanks to Dr. Gargiulo and his incredible staff. Anyone struggling with fibroids should not hesitate to go to him for highly professional and compassionate care.

I was super lucky to find Dr Gargulio after many years of horrible periods that landed me in the hospital many days and nights receiving blood transfusions. After having 44 fibroids removed the decision to have a hysterectomy was made. Dr Gargulio’s robotic work was so incredible that I was up and riding my horses in 2 weeks completely pain free! Not only is he an amazing doctor, but also the kindest person! He makes you and everyone in the room feel comfortable and heard. You won’t find a better specialist In this field!

I had a Robotic Asst. Lap. full Hysterectomy and Bilateral Salpingectomy with Dr. Gargiulo at Exeter Hospital in NH. I was dealing with pelvic and abdominal pain, bloating, and ongoing bladder pressure- due to fibroids. I was in and out of the hospital the same day as the surgery and was back at work in less than 3 weeks. I found Dr. Gargiulo's team to be incredible. I highly recommend Dr. Gargiulo and his team at Exeter Hospital!!

I sought out Dr. Gargiulo after several doctors in Canada, including a very esteemed gastroenterologist and a respected fertility doctor, did not believe me that my abdominal pain warranted investigation. I searched online to find a doctor who I felt would take my pain seriously. That person was Dr. Gargiulo, and I could not have been luckier. Using a laparoscopic procedure, he discovered that I did not have endometriosis, but I did have 10 centimeters of intestine stuck to my abdominal wall. I walked out of the hospital that day totally released from a pain that had ruled my life, and I have been free of it since. But beyond this, Dr. Gargiulo shows a respect and engagement with his patients that I have never experienced before. I am very glad that he is educating the next generation of doctors so that they can learn from his model.

I had a laparoscopy with Dr. Antonio R. Gargiulo and I’m so grateful. I had very bad chronic pain and stage 1 endometriosis. 12cm intramural fibroid removed via laparascopic myomectomy in June 2021. After living with debilitating symptoms for 7+ years (headaches, mood swings, PAINFUL 3 week longperiods, heavy flows, large blood clots) I finally decided to have my fibroid removed and my quality of life has dramatically increased. I was referred to Dr. Gargiulio after a period so bad I passed a blood clot the size on an iPhone landed me in the ER. A hematologist ran a series of tests and I was diagnosed with ET (high platelets). Because heavy blood loss can cause this it needed to be removed. He listened so intently to my concerns and understood that I wanted to start a family soon. The day of surgery his team was very professional and focused. I was not nervous at all but rather impressed by the process. I went home the same day with glue on my incisions and was walking around the next day. Full recovery in a few weeks. My platelets decreased by 30% & NO MORE SYMPTOMS! Planning to start a family this year!

Dr. Gargiulo is an incredible OBGYN. If I could give him 10 gold stars I would! I was diagnosed with a severe case of endometriosis. He was very confident in his course of treatment and expertly guided me through surgery and my path to recovery. He is an excellent listener, and I never felt rushed during our appointments. His office staff at the Exeter Center for Reproductive Care is also very helpful and caring.

Dr.Gargiulo is a brilliant doctor! After 10 years with Endometriosis, his help with IVF gave me my last two blessings in 2017 & 2019. Unfortunately my last birth ended with me having a terribly scarred uterus that caused a tremendous amount of health issues, I was able to go back to him for help and he recommended a hysterectomy which brought me back to 100 % self. I will always recommend him and Brigham Hospital in Boston.

To say Dr. Garguilo is impeccable would be an understatement. Was diagnosed with very large fibroid, Dr.Garguilo and his team were very hospitable always listened to my concerns. I adhered to the care plan I was given after through explanation, three weeks post surgery and never felt any better. Back to my routine and very minimal scarring, less than a finger nail clipping.

Dr. Gargiuolo came highly recommended by my OB. His waitlist is long for a reason! He is extremely knowledgeable and skilled at what he does, but he is also very genuine and makes you feel at ease. I am extremely happy with my experience.

Finding out about endometriosis and fibroid during my unsuccessful ivf treatment was hard, I’m very grateful I found Dr. Gargiulo and his team. From many physicians I talked to Dr. Gargiulo was the only one that was focused on treating while preserving fertility, he educated me about the disease, impact on fertility and all the treatment, from surgery to recovery and embryo implant.

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Gargiulo. He has the upmost knowledge, expertise & compassion for his patients. I flew from Dallas to Boston Jan. 2021 during covid for robotic myomectomy to remove 14 fibroids and endo. I was determined to find the most qualified surgeon to have a successful surgery. Dr. G. was highly referred by one of his peers, who’s also a highly sought out surgeon in his field. He said Dr. G. is one of The Best surgeons in the world for robotic surgery, if not THE BEST. In early December 2020, I had a complete hysterectomy by Dr. Gargiulo, using robotic arms. Not only did I have the smallest incisions, with bruising the size of a nickel at the incision sites, I had NO PAIN after the procedure. Literally NO PAIN!! I had the ovaries, uterus, fallopian tubes and cervix removed. This is my second surgery with him. He completed a successful pelviscopy and hysteroscopy in 2001 after years of pain caused from endometriosis! He is exceptionally knowledgeable and confident in his abilities...and yet has a humble and calming presence. He never rushed through my appointments and took the time to answer any and all questions I had! I will tell EVERYONE that if they need this type of surgery, that he is the only one I would trust and recommend!

I am very lucky to find Dr. Antonio my case was exceptional I had a very large fibroid in my uterus plus other clustered ones, The doctor that I went to recommended a complete hysterectomy as well as removing my ovaries, I got very scared , I did not want to lose my uterus. I am 44 years old and I felt like if I want to get pregnant again I want to have that option. But that was the only option was offered to me. Until I found dr. Dr. Antonio Gargiulo, is very calm, professional and knowledgeable. He assured me that he will take the extra steps needed from my original referral for his awesome medical team to make sure I no longer will have the pain and suffering I endured with both Endometriosis and Adenomyosis. Dr. Gargiulo and his team were all professional and knowledgeable with letting me as the patient know I'm in good hands and they will take their best care for me while undergoing major surgery. He was very thorough with explaining what is going to take place and what and who will be attending, basically the whole team in the OR. Each team member came and introduced themselves and explained in detail the procedure and made sure to ask me as the patient, if I had any questions or concerns. Due to COVID, when Dr. Gargiulo was able, he would do a telemedicine conference in the comfort of your own space. I had no real pain after my major robotic surgery. Highly recommended!

I had a robotic assisted myomectomy preformed to remove a 10 cm fibroid from my uterus. Using cutting edge technology, he was able to remove the fibroid. My recovery has been extremely quick and virtually painless. I highly recommend Dr. Gargiulo to anyone that is struggling with infertility and pelvic pain, especially endometriosis. Dr. Gargiulo is the most competent and compassionate doctor I've ever met, and I've met many on my search for a diagnosis. From my first appointment I could tell how knowledgeable he is and how much he truly cares for his patients by the time he took to listen. I had robotic laparoscopic excision surgery for endometriosis where I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis. Dr. Gargiulo gave me back my quality of life, something I hadn’t had since I was a teenager. I had surgery to remove a grapefruit size endometrioma from my left ovary. I am beyond thankful that Dr. G removed it and left my ovary. He by far is one of the most kindest compassionate doctors I have ever met.. He also answers all questions and is very informative. Dr. Gargiulo is the whole package! He is a provider that is highly proficient in knowledge and skills and his level of expertise has surpassed all others in his field. He also is the most compassionate doctor I have ever met! I have a long history of GYN pathology since 1995 and I had a highly successful Robotic Assisted Myomectomy for a 10 cm fibroid performed by him in 2010. Dr. Gargiulo was able to do what 3 other GYN doctors could not. In 2020, I found myself with fibroids once more and knew that the only person that I trusted was Dr. G! Besides my complex GYN history I have a very complicated cardiovascular history. Dr. G took the time necessary to address all of my concerns. He is genuinely compassionate, kind and truly listens to individual patient needs and cares about the welfare of his patients! I urge anyone who has a complex medical/surgical pathology to seek him out! His level of expertise will give you the best medical/surgical outcome possible. He is a God send!

I had my surgery a few weeks ago and had an amazing experience!!! Dr. Gargiulo is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and made me feel confident I was making the right decision in choosing him as my surgeon, from beginning to end I felt at ease. I was up and running a day after my Provo with little to no pain. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend him !!! The absolute best provider I’ve had thus far.

He's a great doctor and apart from having to wait months for an appointment I can't really complain. However his nurse, Barbara, whom so much depends on, is one of the most incompetent people I've encountered. She made the whole stressful IVF process many times more stressful with her mistakes and unresponsiveness. Since I can't rate her directly, his rating will suffer.

I just want to take a minute to recognize the unbelievable, and amazing (there are really not enough adjectives to do them justice) staff at the CRC! While we did not end up having to go through with IVF this time around, we were just about to and thus had many interactions with the staff. I know I am going to miss some names, but I want to recognize all the staff (the nurses and support staff) including Marcia, Alex, Katie, Lisa, and Carey. They were all nothing but amazing all the time. They truly understand what a struggle this whole thing can be and they could not be more compassionate, friendly, and welcoming. My husband and I both felt welcome and entirely comfortable each time we visited the center.

My experience with Dr. Gargiulo was excellent from start to finish. I was referred by my GYN due to a large fibroid that was continuing to grow on my uterus. Every member of the office is extremely kind and friendly. Dr. Gargiulo answered all my questions and was thorough in reviewing my options -- and I was so pleased that he was able to remove the fibroid and leave my uterus (even though in my case I did not want to have any more children). The prospect of a hysterectomy was very concerning to me. My surgery and recovery went exactly as expected, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Side note, as I discussed what was going on with a few of my friends I heard so many endorsements of him from others who had been patients in the past, and the same from every medical professional I spoke with. He is highly regarded, and I totally agree!

I was referred to Dr. Gargiulo by my OB after trying for 2 years. My first cycle failed and he called me personally to discuss what happened and with a different treatment plan. I really felt he was treating my case as a personal challenge and we tried a 2nd time. After that failed as well, he called me to his office to explain exactly what my problem was and offered a 3rd try based on his diagnosis. I finally got viable embryos and currently 38 weeks with no complications! Very thankful to him!

Dr. Gargiulo was recommended to me by a physician friend, and I can't say enough good things about him. The issues in Dr. Gargiulo's specialty area are often very emotional. He truly cares about his patients and gives you all the time that you need (which may mean that you have to wait, but it is SO worth it). I had several surgeries with him, and am doing so much better. I am so glad that I found Dr. Gargiulo.

Dr. Gargiulo is one of the most intelligent, compassionate, and down to earth doctors that I have ever met. I am glad that I found Dr Gargiulo to have my myomectomy. From the time I consulted with him, I knew that I found the right and caring surgeon with excellent bedside manner. He skillfully removed 2 large fibroids ( 12 cm; a 7 cm transmural) and 6 smaller ones during 6 hours on October 2, 2017. I have a quick recovery. Dr Gargiulo is the best at this type of surgery. I highly recommend him to my friends in need of surgery. And the best of it all, he is gifted.

What a wonderful bedside manner & level of comfort Dr Garguilo gives his patients & their family. I had a complex 7 hr myomectomy performed by Dr. Garguilo at Brigham and Women's. I traveled from Fairfield county in CT for every visit & my surgery. This was after a NYC Dr. was hesitant to perform my surgery due to the size & placement of my fibroids as well as the fact part of my bowels was attached to my uterus due to endo. Well I am now pregnant with my first child. Thank you Dr Garguilio!

Smiling Dr Gargiulo sat with me with my actual MRI images to show me what was what and which cysts were fluid filled and then the difference with this one other one’s characteristics of concern. He said “I don’t want to touch this unless you already have a baby at home.” He said when you cut the ovary, you take away useful tissue and though he agreed that it was a cyst that could shift and to continue to watch, he cleared me to go ahead with IVF. He talks to you not at you and is to be trusted!

Dr. Gargiulo was literally a life saver. He conducted a very difficult robotic surgery to remove my uterus and Fallopian tube because they were nonfunctional and causing me to have bad pain in my pelvis. Dr. Gargiulo had me in and out of the hospital in the same day. Life returned to normal in a few days. His bed-side manner and communication were excellent. You can tell he cares about his patients. If you are having problems with your uterus, Fallopian tubes, etc, please seek his advice!

My husband and I went to see Dr. Gargiulo after several months of trying to get pregnant. Ultimately, we were patients of Dr. Gargiulo for two years. In additional to his evident medical expertise, Dr. Gargiulo was kind, compassionate, sympathetic, and supportive. At times, when all seemed without hope, his tempered optimism was exactly what we needed to persevere through a physically and emotionally grueling experience to ultimately be successful.

Dr. Gargiulo and the entire staff at the Center for Reproductive care was so sensitive to our needs throughout the entire IVF process, from the first meeting to the exit interview. He is very understanding and has all the characteristics a doctor should have. He is a valuable asset to anyone who needs him whether it's a medical institution or patient. I recently visited Dr. Gargiulo for fertility treatment. My husband and I had been trying to conceive for a couple of years. We are both 43 years old and after a failed IVF cycle elsewhere, we went to see Dr. Gargioulo. I had a couple of factors working against me. The age factor, a missing fallopian tube which had raptured as a result of an ectopic pregnancy in 2014 and a prior laparoscopic myomectomy that took out 6 large fibroids. Dr. Gargiulo did my laparoscopy when my gynecologist recommended surgery to remove a growing cyst, suspected of being endometriosis. I never worried that Dr. Gargiulo's surgical removal and ablation of the cyst was going to be impeccable. I was also surprised, upon first visiting his office, to learn that I was a candidate for his recently published single-site procedure, which meant my laparoscopy done with only one incision, through my belly button. I don't have a scar, and healed quickly!

We saw Dr. G after our 3rd miscarriage. We had been trying for a baby for almost 3 years. We only met with him once and he was kind, knowledgeable and empathetic. We came up with a plan and BOOM! I got pregnant and stayed pregnant right away. Our baby turned 6 months old yesterday. We plan on going back to him when we are ready to start trying for number 2! I would recommend him to anyone struggling to conceive or has suffered multiple losses like us. He may just make your dreams come true!!

I recently underwent single-site robotic laparoscopic myomectomy performed by Dr Gargiulo. This technique was pioneered at BWH and published in peer reviewed journals. The standard of care was outstanding at every stage and I recovered surprisingly quickly. I was back on my feet within a week with very little post-operative pain. Dr Garguilo will treat you with both skill and compassion and I would urge anyone who is concerned about fibroids to arrange a consultation at BWH.

Dr. Gargiulo is Amazing!!! I was referred to him and told he was The best of the best. I walked in his office, he was kind, understanding, knowledgeable and caring. He was 100% invested my well being and health By the time I walked out of his office, I had a MRI scheduled, follow up appointments on the books and plan for surgery underway. Dr. G was able to do surgery through my belly button and avoid a large cut across stomach. My first Dr. I saw had told me that was not an option.

I could not have asked for a better Doctor to handle my gigantic fibroid. Dr. Gargiulo Is one of the best Doctors I've dealt with. He was able to remove my gigantic (size of a regular human's head) fibroid through robotic Assisted Laparoscopy myomectomy. He left very tiny scars on my belly and reconstructed my belly button perfectly. I could not be any happier to know this thing is out of me. My belly is so flat now, it's amazing. Dr. Gargiulio thank you!!! thank you!! thank you!!!
