First time patient, couldn’t be happier with the efficiency of this office and team. New patient, I was in and out with X-rays seen nurse and doc and diagnosis, with game Plan moving forward set in motion. 7:45-8:20 Couldn’t recommend them more! Great complete team for sure.

Very professional and considerate. Staff helpful when asked about any issues.

Staff and dr levenda were friendly however it’s a big inconvenience to sign up for a patient account and no one seems to be able to help

Exceptional doctor! I was evaluated as needing a partial shoulder replacement years ago by a different surgeon... I had a referral for Dr. Levenda and decided to see him for a second opinion. Dr. Levenda is very skilled and thorough in what he does. He properly diagnosed me as having a fully ripped rotator cuff and actually needing a shoulder reversal NOT a partial replacement. These two different diagnosis made the difference between me being able to use my arm or not. I can honestly say Dr. Levenda is the reason I have the use of my left arm. He knew to take an MRI and thoroughly explore my situation before jumping into surgery. There are no words of gratitude that I can express the way I feel, other than, I will be forever thankful and never see anyone else for my shoulder - he changed my quality of life completely. He was very full of himself. Rushed in, hardly asked any questions. I told him that my shoulder surgeon, who I had just seen, suspected a baker’s cyst and he recommended That I see him. I think he took offense at that. I had 3 X-rays of my knee and he only glanced at one! Bakers’s cysts are caused my inflammation. Could be torn meniscus, arthritis, torn ligament. It could be a tumor or something besides a cyst? He did not tell me any of that! I found it on the Mayo Clinic sight! I asked him what to do. He said nothing can be done. I asked for a steroid injection and got one. He mentioned physical therapy, but my shoulder is not healed yet. Should have gone to Dr. Kay. I am having hip problems, I asked him if I could come back to see him for that, he said. I don’t do hips, and not in a nice way! I will never go back to him!! He was very full of himself. Dr. Levenda has taken very good care of me though my surgery for my rotator and bicep damage and all through my follow ups. The personnel here are just lovely. I highly recommend Dr. Levenda and his staff.

The purpose of the visit was to go over the results of an MRI that had been ordered by their Urgent Care. I was told by urgent care that it was possibly a torn meniscus, and I had another issue with the knee that I wished to discuss with him. He did not go over the results of my MRI with me. He told me that I had terrible arthritis in my knee, I would eventually need a knee replacement, and that it would be my decision when I could no longer stand the pain. That was it. I asked about the MRI, and relayed what Urgent care had said. His response was, "Yeah the meniscus is probably trashed but that doesn't matter." When I described the other issue I was having and asked what he thought it might be, he just said he didn't know, he'd never heard of it. End of discussion. At that point I didn't want anything else from him. He obviously wasn't interested in helping me. They billed me $100 for that. I had to pay another Dr. $100 to explain what's wrong with my knee, and it's pretty serious.

The doctor and staff were very professional and courteous. They made me fill comfortable and informed of my medical problem.

A beautiful clean facility. From the time I checked in until the time I left they were very professional, very understanding and very tentative to my injury. The facility is very nice and clean. Everyone was friendly, organized, and helpful. Dr. Levenda made me feel comfortable. Both Dr Lavenda and his NP took the time to listen to my concerns. They got me in to Be seen in a timely manner. As nice as they all are I hope we solved the problem.

The entire practice is very friendly, efficient and professional. Great experience during my initial visit requiring orthopedic needs with Dr. Levenda and staff.

I credit Dr. Levenda with saving my life. I left a message at his office about a month ago to speak to Dr. Levenda but my call was not returned. So I pray he will see my story here. On 7/5/2021 I tripped and fell hard. I broke my humerus bone at the top where it connects to my left shoulder ball joint. Dr. Levenda also told me I fell so hard I had dented my ball joint. He thought he might have to surgically place a metal cap on it. I had x-rays every 2 weeks for 4 weeks. The x-rays showed I was healing well. Dr. Levenda told me he didn't think the surgery would improve me. But, to be sure he wanted to get a better picture of my ball joint. Before he made his final decision about surgery. The CT scan confirmed his decision to not do surgery. Praise God! I was given a copy of the CT scan report. There was an incidental finding in my left lung that showed up. I was told to contact my family physician who did not take the finding seriously. I found help elsewhere. The finding was metsstic cancer in my left lung. I had more testing ordered by a new family physician. I was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach/gastric cancer. That had spread to my lungs, one liver lesion, & tumor on my left adrenal gland. DR. LEVENDA'S EXTRA STEP TO GET A BETTER PICTURE OF THAT BALL JOINT SAVED MY LIFE. I GOT TREATMENT RIGHT AWAY. MY FAMILY DOCTOR ONLY WANTED TO DO A X-RAY IN 90 DAYS! PEOPLE I DID NOT HAVE 90 DAYS TO WAIT I WAS TOLD. SO DR. ANTHONY LEVENDA THANK YOU FOR YOUR EXCELLENY CARE. A DECISION FOR ONE MORE TEST COULD ALSO SAVE ANOTHER PATIENT'S LIFE. I TRULY HOPE YOU READ THIS! I WOULD STILL LIKE TO SPEAK TO YOU DOCTOR, SHAKE YOUR HAND, OR GIVE YOU A HUG! GOD BLESS YOU! P.S. After 5 chemo treatments I am experiencing healing! My lung mets are almost gone and the liver lesion is barely visible. I praise God for this. Chemo is not easy. But, I'm getting extra time. Time is so sweet when you find out you are running out of it. Thank you Dr. Levenda I credit you for having the chance to fight this stage 4 cancer. Reminder stage 5 is death! Dr levenda is number one on my chart. He has been the only one for my surgeries and I have had a few. He and his staff are the best thanks for the care.

Dr. Levenda is great, he diagnosed my shoulder issue and got me into surgery quickly and did an incredible job repairing it. I would recommend him to anyone without any hesitation. I’m so grateful I was referred to Dr Levenda. I had been suffering from awful shoulder pain and in 10 minutes he was able to relieve 80% of it! Makes every attempt to NOT have to perform surgery. Office staff is great.

My shoulder replacement was a success from presurgery through physical therapy. Everyone from the physician to the entire staff at LBJI were great. I would recommend Dr Levenda to anyone needing his services and willing to work with PT. I've completed the first 8 weeks of a year long recovery.

I had a sx on my wrist a few years ago and in the last 4 months, Dr. Levenda has done a total knee replacement on both of my knees and he is excellent! The whole staff is excellent from the desk personnel to the medical personnel and also the physical therapy center in Chesterton! I’ve been to Quite a few orthopedic doctors that I wasn’t comfortable with until I meet Dr. Levenda, for what ever problem I would have he would examine everything and explain it to me so that I would get a clear picture of what he’s talking about the entire staff is very professional.

Great experience, always a gentleman. Always explains everything and how it should be she was interest in you as a person.

Had a left shoulder replacement a week and a half ago and I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Levenda and his staff! I had a torn rotator repaired by him last year as well and it’s never felt better! Highly recommended to everyone that has asked me where I had it done.
