Dr Leone did what he called a routine cyst removal on my left wrist. At the time I was very concerned about the procedure and I kept asking him if it was going to be alright. I didnt have a very positive outcome with surgeries in the past and he kept reassuring me that it would be fine, that it was a very simple straight forward procedure and that hes done so many of these he could do it in his sleep. After the surgery there was something hanging out of the incision, it was very painful, if it got bumped or rubbed it would drop me to my knees and knock the window out of me, I would instantly start to sweat and felt very ill and sick too my stomach. Turns out it was part of my nerve!! He refused to admit there was anything wrong, even told me "thats normal". All i wanted was for him to fix it but he absolutely refused to do anything about it. Today, some 4-5 years later, theres a strip from the wrist to the tip of my thumb that is numb and the feeling is reversed, if i put ice on my wrist i will feel it in my thumb and its like that the other way around too. I have very bad pain in the wrist, theres some hard bump in the wrist as well that continues to slowly grow, no its not another cyst, I dont know what it is but it brings pain as well and makes it harder for me to bend the wrist.
