Dr. Anthony Nmi Festa

He’s been my orthopedic doctor for years sent my brother and niece to him. Efficient practice and he’s straight arrow with a cool friendly vibe. He spends time answers my questions.So far no surgeries…but.. highly recommended

I met Dr. Festa a several years ago when I started having a lot of shoulder pain. We did a couple of injections that gave me relief but ultimately were not a permanent solution. In January we decided to go ahead and do surgery on the AC joint in my right shoulder. If you can call surgery an excellent experience, it absolutely was. Everything he told me to expect happened just the way he said it would. Fast forward a couple months and I was completely healed. I decided to talk to Dr. Festa about my left knee that had bothered me for years. After an MRI showed a flare floating body in my knee, I opted for surgery to take it out. Again, it was a flawless experience. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to see Dr. Festa for anything. I am totally pain free in my joints for the first time in almost 20 years. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Festa and his excellent staff for such amazing care. I feel like I have my life back.

I had extreme shoulder pain and could not lift my arm. After one visit with Dr. Festa and regained complete pain free range of motion. And he’s a very nice guy.

Will mess up basic surgeries to get you in his office for more surgeries... then forget about you. Ensists you can’t be in pain if you tell him you are because he knows more about how you feel than you do. Misinformation you about procedures he does without consulting you. Drops your insurance a month after your surgery then leaves you out in the cold to deal with recovery issues and how to pay. It’s all about $$$ for him and his whole group. Not honest with his patients.

I had really bad pain in my elbow so I scheduled an appt. with Dr. Festa as he had examined my hip prior. X rays indicated arthritis had formed. After clearly explaining all the options available we decided a shot into the elbow, rest and ice after activities; I play golf frequently as well as play with my grandchildren. I left the office feeling significantly better! Thank you Dr. Festa. I highly recommend him to all. He will definitely be doing my hip preplacement when I am ready!!

Visited Festa 3 years ago for a bad shoulder. He suggested a cortisone shot but said he couldn't give it today. Suggested I go to his partner in Morristown for the shot, he didn't want me to drive back to Fairfield and before I knew it the office had me scheduled with Scillia. I explained I had no problem driving to Fairfield. A week later I go to Scillia and get my shot. Two weeks later I get a bill for $1147.00, the office said Scillia doesn't accept my insurance! Now What?

I was recommended to this Dr. for my shoulder. I went there with great anticipation; hoping for help. The office staff was great. I was so excited until this syndrome came in. It was like talking to an angry cop; same attitude too. He didn't know me but acted as though he did, but in a negative way. I thought he was so unprofessional. It was a terrible experience, then he dismissed me by saying, "Behave yourself". I asked him, "what does that mean", and he just laughed. Do not go there

My experience with Dr Festa ...“It’s all been said in the other five star reviews. He has been my orthopedic care physician for several years now and has always provided the absolute best care. He provides the best advice and treatment during every visit and for every issue. I Had shoulder surgery and I am pain free thanks to him. If you are looking for a doctor whose knowledgeable, respectful, who treats you like family and takes the time to be caring look no more.

Absolutely no help. Couldn't read my MRI because they have no username for the imaging center I got it at. The girl could have told me this when I called for an appointment and asked where I got my MRI. Dr. Festa spent 5 minutes with me, said I had arthritis and it would hurt. I kid you not, that's all! So I got my MRI done for nothing and paid A $40 co pay to be told sorry, nothing I can do. Ridiculous.
