About Dr. Anthony Bittar
Reviews for Dr. Anthony Bittar
I've had sinus issues for decades, a couple years ago things got bad, my face swelled up, I saw an allergist who said I had a bad sinus infection, he referred me for an MRI, I had a 4mm bone spur and badly deviated septum, I went to three different ENT surgeons for opinions, because I was very reluctant to have surgery. I elected to go w/Dr. Bittar and I couldn't be happier, he explained pre/op and post/op, answered all my questions and I was very comfortable working w/him, I'm now breathing easy and have no infection. I wound up having a Septo/Rhinoplasty w/Turbinate reduction. Thank you to Dr. Bittar and his entire staff, They're highly recommended!
Dr. Bittar said my septum was seriously deviated and advised a septoplasty. I'd never had significant issues but the promise of better breathing made me believe I didn't know how bad I had it. The recovery for this is much worse than I was led to believe. After recovering, I realized that there was no difference and I am reasonably certain that this op was completely unnecessary. 8 months post op. I feel pressure in my nose that I thought would go away in time but after 8 months, I decide to follow up. He agrees that this shouldn't last more than 3 months but otherwise is dismissive. Some quotes from Dr. Bittar: "Maybe you are thinking of your nose too much" "Try not to think about your nose so much" "I've done over 6,000 of these" I was polite and patient but no matter my inquiry, Dr. Bittar seemed convinced that I was making up symptoms. I will find another ENT rather than argue with a doc that isn't willing or capable of dealing with something unexpected.

I got my nose cosmetic and medical with doctor Bittar and I have no words to describe how happy Iam with the results it’s been about two weeks since I got the surgery and even tho I’m still swollen I love how my nose looks I breath so good I got my first two night of sleep that I can actually breath good and I’m loving it I feel normal I don’t know how I can thank him
I went to several ENTs before I found Dr. Bittar and I found them to be dismissive and dishonest. He doesn't lie, he takes his time, he is thorough and attentive, and most importantly he fixed all my issues. He is prompt with responding to follow up concerns as well, he doesn't just forget you after you pay the bill. This was my best experience with any doctor ever and I consider myself to be somewhat high maintenance and particular.
Where to begin! Truly no words are enough to describe how grateful I am for Dr. Bittar. It’s been over 3 years since I got to know Dr. Bittar, I had two surgeries with him, the first one was Chaleostoma removal from my left ear and reconstructive to the middle ear, The surgery was smooth, the recovery and the results were way way better than expected. I gradually restored my hearing to %65 that I never expected to hit that number after spending years hearing with my right ear only. It’s been 18 months so. The care after the surgery from the doctor and the staff was exceptional. Almost two months ago I had my Sinuses and Rhinoplasty surgery done, the results are already blessing. For the very first time in 30ish years I am able to breathe properly. The post-surgery continuous care was extremely amazing, the Dr. himself, followed up with me daily via phone calls and texts. That continuous support and care, made my heart bigger and stronger everyday throughout the recovery because I knew I trusted my life with the right human-person. Also, you would find a great friend in Dr. Bittar if you needed one ( that’s very valuable feeling). Dr. Bittar is not the typical physician we most used to, he takes his time and doesn’t like to be rushed, he is very honest with his answers and opinions, accurate and would try his best to help his patients. The staff, all the ladies are amazing, friendly to the extremes, and very organized especially Sara. Big Thank you to Dr. Bittar and his Staff.
My experience overall was less than admirable. There is so much miscommunication between Dr. Bittar his staff and also the surgery hospital. I had to reschedule because they were very uncoordinated. The day before the surgery my medication was still not submitted for pickup even after they confirmed it would be. I had to call and remind them to submit. The day of surgery was the worst. My surgery was delayed 4 hours because he over schedules all patients. Mind you I had been fasting since 11 pm the night before. I finally went into surgery late afternoon due to this. The wait that was outrageous! I can understand a few min or hour late but to make a patient wait 4+ hours is too long and quite absurd. Staff was consistent about them being okay with over scheduling and making people continuously wait. I wish to understand how if a patent is late or a no show, we're charged money. However, the doctor is late and or no show and there is no reimbursement or support there. It's a trend they are fine with, it is just not kind to do this to your patients and unacceptable. The services are not cheap here. Treatment from the doctor was good and he seemed to be engaged which is why I'm giving two stars. My experience overall was less than admirable. Dr. Bittar is an amazing surgeon I highly recommended
Dr. Bittar is an amazing surgeon! I seriously asked if he was a magician as I barely had any pain at all. I am so happy I finally had my septoplasty with turbinate reduction. It is amazing to be able to breathe easier!!! Wish I would have done it many years ago. Austin allergies have nothing on me NOW! ????
Dr. Bittar perfectly straightened my nose and repaired my deviated septum in 2015. The process was exceptionally smooth, and my 2nd rate insurance covered the majority of the cost. Fast forward, and he repaired a botched rhinoplasty for my wife in 2021, relieving her headaches and greatly improving her breathing. Dr. Bittar is an exceptional surgeon. Dr. Bittar and his team have been wonderful. When I found out I had a deviated septum that was contributing to breathing issues I sought out multiple consults. I decided to go through with surgery with Dr. Bittar because he was so personable and accommodating. He was able to schedule a surgery just a couple weeks out. Since I was to undergo surgery for the septum and turbinates I also had some cosmetic changes done. Dr. Bittar later reported that I had quite a complicated procedure, but the results are amazing. It has taken a few weeks for the swelling to go down but I love the look of my nose as it is natural and fits my face. I am also breathing better. Thanks Dr. Bittar! You'll be treated extremely well and given the best of care by Dr. Bittar and his staff!
There aren't enough stars to pick from for this doctor. I was handicapped with a hypersensitivity to loud noises, especially music. The internet claims there is no cure or treatment for this syndrome. I've had to wear ugly ear plugs every time I went out, often I would forget them and have to turnaround and go home and I couldn't talk to people well because I couldn't hear them good and it effected my speech (Dr. Bittar's audiologist made me some custom ear plugs by taking a molding of my ear and they are then printed on a 3-D printer! They colored to be invisible and they worked much better). It happened from barotrauma I experienced on a flight to Denver when fluid filled up behind my ear drum. I went to my family doctor and to two terrible ENT doctors. Ridiculously, they sent me home with antibiotics and a steroid pack even though I insisted it was from the flight, repeatedly. One of them told me it was a temporary condition and it would go away in 1.5 to 2 years but it had already been 2.5 years at that point! Even more ridiculous, he referred me to a cognitive behavior specialist (a psychologist for my ear problem!), I didn't go. So, I thought that I was going to suffer from this handicap for the rest of my life. Another 2.5 years go by, problem persisting, I tried to find a doctor that was part of the St. Davids network because they have a hyperbaric oxygen chamber and I had met someone that said they had a friend that cured his similar problem 90% by going into one of those (still a relatively new science). I also picked Dr. Bittar because I observed that he performed numerous different ear procedures, so I thought maybe he would have one for me, which turns out indeed did! He agreed with me and said it was from barotrauma and that my estachian tubes were collapsed and getting no air through them, so he recommended we try a procedure before trying the hyperbaric oxygen chamber. 2 weeks ago, I had balloon dilation of the Estachian tubes performed which was a outpatient surgical procedure done through the nose (no cutting involved). I was truly skeptical that it could cure the problem!; however, yesterday, I went out downtown to some loud bars, and much to my astonishment, I didn't even have to wear my new ear plugs! The hypersensitivity to music/loud noises is gone! Dr. Bittar healed me 100%!! My only regret is not finding him sooner! I was misled by the two bad ENT's I went to into remaining handicapped for 5 years when there was a solution the entire time. The world needs more doctors like Dr. Bittar! It's like a miracle for me. I couldn't be more pleased. Don't hesitate to go see Dr. Bittar even if other doctors have failed you in the past. I am someone who doesn't often leave reviews, but it's the least I could do. We took our 9 month old twins to Dr. Bittar this morning and his bedside manner was atrocious. We were referred by our pediatrician for our girls' allergies and he is attitude was that he was annoyed and dismissive and said that there was nothing he could do. We asked why would our Dr. refer him to us and he said "because, your doctor gave up on you". Our visit lasted 5 minutes without one ounce of care. I would never want anyone go experience this kind of treatment whether he could help or not. We took our 9 month old twins to Dr. Bittar this morning and his bedside manner was atrocious. Dr. Bittar is amazing! He listened to what I wanted with my nose reconstruction and helped me breath better. He also efficiently removed my tonsils with care. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a specialist to check out their ears, nose, or throat.
Phenomenal service extremely professional super nice very descriptive and truly knows what he's doing and cares about his patients. 10/100 recommended.
Doctor Bittar performed a Rhinoplasty and Septoplasty for me on 9/28/20 and as of today 10/12/20 the results were more than what I expected. Recovery is almost complete. Positive results thus far are, sleep apnea near nonexistent, COPD gone, snoring gone, able to sleep night through and no more panic/anxiety attacks. Due to tragic events in my past, I had panic/anxiety attacks frequently, brought on by my restricted breathing. Doctor Bittar and his staff are very professional but they have not lost their ability to be human and interact with patients. Every visit was a unique experience, especially my first visit with the Doctor and his humor set the stage. On a scale of five stars, I give them a 4. I rarely give out a 5, because I think at that point there is only one way to go, down. I would do it again even knowing the pain and discomfort involved. I don’t normally write reviews. Dr Bittar is a excellent and conscientious doctor. I had some lesions in my throat. One looked suspect to Dr Bittar. Did a biopsy everything was clear. So he wanted to see me back. Something just didn’t seam Right. He wanted to keep a eye on it. Next time I came to see him. He put his scope down my throat. He said I think we need to do another biopsy. Well I’m so glad he did it was showing cancer. Because he insisted that we take another look, so I did. Saved me so much time and trouble. It was stage 1. So just did the treatment. Radiation, 6 weeks of that. It could have been so much worse. No chemo. I’ve also had other surgeries. And the scars always seam to look bad. Thought it might just be my skin type. He cut open my throat, and there is NO SCAR! Thank you Dr Bittar. I highly recommend this Dr. I don’t normally write reviews. I don’t really give reviews, but I’m really happy with how Dr. Bittar has been so kind to me. I had a rhinoplasty/septoplasty procedure done by him in 2019. He changed the shape of my nose for the better and I was able to breathe! I always get compliments on my nose. I’m so happy with how everything turned out. I do not trust Dr. Bittar, and would not recommend him to anyone. The procedure he performed reduced my quality of life, and cost me a lot of money and pain afterwards. After struggling with allergies for years, I was desperate. Dr. Bittar made it seem like a septoplasty/turbinate reduction would change my life. He made it seem easy. Well, I got the procedure, and it didn't go well. I had stints in my nose for weeks. It was hard to breathe or sleep. When they finally came out, I followed up weeks later. I still was not breathing well out of my right nostril. Dr. Bittar told me that some people just don't breathe well out of one nostril. It was natural. No, Dr. Bittar. It was INFECTED. The surgery that YOU CONDUCTED left me with an infection inches away from my eyes and brain. I know this, because another doctor showed me. I could see the infection that was caused by your procedure. It has taken months to heal. I have felt worse than I did before I even had this dumb expensive surgery. Dr. Bittar recently removed my left thyroid lobe due to the presence of a large nodule. The surgery was carried via a 1 1/2 " incision across my throat, perfectly placed and now, four weeks post surgery, the incision is no longer visible. Same applies to the drainhole of a tube left to drain the wound post surgery. In addition to his skilled execution of the surgery, he took time at all consultations to listen and advise on all my concerns. I could not be more pleased. I had several procedures at once to fix a severely deviated septum, terribly blocked sinuses, and sleep apnea/snoring. For the first time in more than a decade I can breathe through my nose and I’m sleeping in the same bed as my wife again as my snoring has ceased. I wake up in the morning feeling refreshed and ready to go. Dr Bittar even met me at his office on a Saturday post-op to clear some blockage due to bleeding. Strongly recommend this skilled surgeon. I got a perfect nose! I had a deviated septum, and Dc. Bittar was recommended to me by a friend, the first time I visited his office and met him I couldn't be more pleased and happy. Dc. Bittar makes you feel like you have been a patient for years! he is very approachable, caring and you can tell he has a lot of experience. As per my nose, I asked him to remove the hump on the nose at the same time he would correct my deviated septum, he did such as beautiful job, my nose looks so natural and I can breath now. The staff at the doctor's office is really friendly and helpful. I totally recommend Dc. Bittar! I got a perfect nose! I had a deviated septum, and Dc. Dr Bittar is the BEST DR I’ve ever met . He’s caring , patient and very professional. I just had surgery where he removed a large tumor in my throat. I highly recommend him
My husband received services for over 10 years. Dr. Bittar is a Godsend. Words cannot express how thankful we are to have been referred by our primary physician.
I saw a deal on Groupon for " one syringe of Juvederm Vobella XC-Beau Visage Aesthetic Center for $299.99", which I purchased on 9-4-17. I redeemed it on 12-4-17. I met with Micah Jones, who was the aesthetician. She told me the Groupon I purchased was for the lips, was light, and would not last long. She suggested I pay twice the price for a stronger Juvederm which would last longer. This is a "bait and switch" scheme which is unethical . I have reported this to Groupon, and want to warn future clients so they are not taken advantage of. Other Groupon clients I have used in the past do NOT do this type of "bait and switch". Dr. Bittar took out half my thyroid. I had had the other half removed 3 years ago by a different surgeon... all good. I woke up from Dr. B's surgery surprised to have a drain tube coming out of my clavicle area. I have a very noticeable scar this time. The incision scar also has puncture scars above and below it because he used staples instead of stitches. It seems he stapled my skin to the tissue underneath it because the skin adhered to the tissue causing a flap of skin on the top side of the incision. I was worried about this when I realized what was happening and followed up with him 1 week after the surgery to have it looked at. He assured me all was fine and to just leave it alone. It's been almost 3 months now, and I still have the flap and the scars. It's so ugly and depressing. Also, the other reviewer was right; they have no regard for patients' time and leave you waiting an hour for a scheduled appt. Dr. Bittar took out half my thyroid. Great doctor and friendly staff. My only issue is the wait time. We usually wait about an hour from our appointment time but the visit itself is very quick
Dr. Bittar is an incredible doctor and surgeon. I just had a tumor removed and the turbinates in my nose reduced and I feel better than expected! He provides high quality service and is very friendly. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the wait time can be an hour or more sometimes. Also, my surgery had to be rescheduled because the secretary didn't take the length of my procedure into consideration and overbooked Dr. Bitter the day I was originally scheduled for. I love this place kind and friendly people,Dr.Bittar Is an excellent Doctor! I also go now to get facials and Botox with Micah and she’s wonderful, she’s friendly, patient, and she always has the best prices around! Love it!
Staff is really attentive. The surgical staff is amazing. Dr. Bittar is easy to talk to and I would recommend him to anyone looking for an ENT.
I am very happy with the results of the filler Micah at Dr. Bittar's office did for me. The results were better than expected. I was nervous about the needle but she was patient, explaining the process, and preparing me for the discomfort. I felt she was honest and did not try to over-sell products or procedures to run up my charges. I also had laser treatment on my hands and neck for age spots WOW. This is an awesome way to erase years. I will be back! I am very happy with the results of the filler Micah at Dr. Bittar's office did for me. The results were better than expected. In Dr. A. Bittar's office, there is another office where a MEDICAL estheticIan, named Micah, works under Dr. Bittar called "Beau Visage." I can't tell you how happy and estactic I was after seeing my results from two sessions of very deep intense chemical Jessner peels after she combined them with a strong TCA peel (3 layers). I have wasted soooo many groupons, where the estheticIans were not allowed to penetrate under the dermis due to license' laws. However, Micah HAS been trained/licensed under Dr. Bittar and take it from me...YOU WILL see results at an affordable price! No more superficial 6 to 8 sessions to get what you want or someone trying to sell you products! Actually, I was asking HER for the products to keep my skin looking so flawless (no more veins or brown spots)!!! I have finally found someone that knows what they are doing and soooo KIND and professional too! And, I'm going in again to say goodbye to my brown spots on my neck and chest too! Micah is the only ONE you want! Believe me, I've tried them all! And being a young senior on a budget, she understands!! Nita Buda, Texas In Dr. A. I have nothing but praise for Dr. Bittar and his staff. My daughter had a deviated septum that needed to be fixed. She was a little nervous, but after she met him it went up hill from there. The interactions with their patients are so enjoyable we look forward to going in. Will be sad when we will not be seeing them regularly.
My adult daughter had her tonsils removed and a septoplasty performed 2 years ago with excellent results. I took the plunge last December and had a septoplasty with turbinate reduction performed on my nose. A month later and I wish I did this 30 years ago! Everything from the time I called to make an appointment to the paperwork and insurance was done so professionally. Dr Bittar is a genuinely nice doctor who you can trust.
Dr. Bittar removed my son's tonsils and adenoids as well as two seperate surgeries for tubes in his ears. His staff is always friendly and he is very personable with my young children. He has been a God send! His staff even got my son in on short notice when he got a pebble in his ear at daycare! The Audiologist is equally amazing! I would definitely recommend him to anyone requiring an ENT. He listens to all my concerns and displays nothing but patience with my son's fear of tongue depressors.
Had an appointment to have a hearing test. Saw the doctor but the lady who administers the hearing test was not there. Total waste of my entire morning. Plus I waited a long time just to see the doctor. Won't be going back.

I have been going to Beau Visage for several months for hair removal and I am completely satisfied. The staff are so very friendly and when I walk through the door I am greeted with a smile from everyone. Micah has been great, warm and friendly. When I finish with the hair removal I am definitely going to look into other procedures that are offered. I have and will continue to highly recommend Beau Visage.
