Dr A is the man. I came to him at the end of January 2023 he diagnosed me with lung cancer in right lung. Very upsetting at 58 years old. 1st i met his nurse and let me tell you she is awesome. She makes u feel at ease goes over things with you and is very thorough also really nice. Was set up for surgery on March 7 they partially removed my right lung. He is a really unbelievable surgeon. He did such a nice job, healed quickly and no issues. I have to give a shout out to hospital.. they gave me the best care… again. The best nurses. I am extremely satisfied and he saved my life. Dr. Ascioti offered me a 2nd opinion on thymoma resection using robotic minimally invasive surgery. I am so thankful for his diagnosis & skill. Dr. Ascioti confidently & successfully removed the thymoma avoiding a sternotomy. He accurately predicted the thymoma was not stuck to my lung or pericardium. I’m 3 weeks post-op and feeling great. I’m 70 years old and this was the first time I’ve been hospitalized. I can’t say enough about the superb care I received from Dr. Ascioti and his team!

Dr Ascioti and his team are exceptional at what they do! He throughly explained my procedure and made sure all my questions were answered. He made me feel at ease the day of surgery and was comforting with his words. His team in the operating rooms were extremely nice and took their time explaining to me what they were doing before I was put under. I would highly recommend Dr. Ascioti.

Dr Ascioti was recommended to me by my Pulmonologist. I was so pleased and thankful for this Dr and his staff. He quickly diagnosed my problem and was very confident in his ability to repair my herniated lung. Dr Ascioti is a very genuine, kind, and caring surgeon that has an equally competent and caring staff! When I called, calls were answered promptly and information was relayed efficiently. My surgery was a success and my herniated lung is now repaired and my recovery is going well. I would highly recommend Dr Ascioti. He and his staff are very thorough, competent, caring, and thoughtful.

Dr. Ascioti is a highly skilled and respected thoracic surgeon with compassion. I recently had an operation by him. During both pre and post op care he was informative, explanatory, and personable. If I could give him a higher rating I would. Dr. Ascioti’s office staff offers the same level of care. They are kind, friendly and respond promptly to answer your questions. I found Dr Ascioti to be very professional and knowledgeable in discussing my symptoms and explaining the surgery process. After the surgery, he and his staff monitored my recovery process until I had a clean bill of health. Excellent surgeon. His staff of Sara, Cody and Jennifer ( I am sure there were others that I can’t remember) were very knowledgeable, courteous and caring. Dr. Ascioti surpassed my expectations for my surgery. He thoroughly explained things both before and after. And the outcome is life changing. His staff was very attentive, accommodating and responsive. I highly recommend Dr. Ascioti.

Removed left upper lobe due to cancer. I was home in 2 days! Back to exercise program in 3 weeks. Excellent care!

I was told that I had to have a complete open heart surgery to remove a tumor on my heart but Dr. Ascioti seen my scans and he is able to do it without having to crack my chest open!! I am only 37 years old so i was terrified going through all of this but he has been so comforting through the whole situation and has actually helped me to quit smoking!! I definitely recommend him to anybody who needs any kind of lung or heart surgery!! Great care and personality

If i could give him zero stars or negative for being totally uncaring, insensitive and just down right rude i would. He is so just distance with no bedside manner.

My husband just had his first appointment with this doctor and he was warm and welcoming. He put us at ease and he was comforting.

He removed my Right upper lobe. It was much easier than I thought and I healed so quickly. He is a wonderful surgeon.
