Reviews for Annette Billings
Had the pleasure of seeing a few doctors in this office. Very convenient. They're all wonderful - highly recommend.
I’ve had several surgeries by Dr. Billings. She is very professional, prompt (low wait times), very competent, and yet she takes the time to explain everything. As the result of her surgeries I have the use of my hands again.

I recently visited Dr. Billings for severe pain in my hand. My wait to be seen was less than five minutes. Dr. Billings assessed the problem quickly and compassionately gave me the injection to ease the pain. Her office staff went above and beyond to make certain that my insurance covered the visit. This was by and far one of the best experiences at a doctor's office I have had in the past five years. Thank you Dr. Billings for your heart and staff for your efficiency and care!

Dr. Billings has kind bedside manner and a good listener. Staff at the front desk need to smile and make eye contact and greet patients. They tend to avoid acknowledging you when standing directly in front of them. Feels like you need to pry information or a greeting from them. Furniture in the waiting area and exam rooms need replacing. Yucky to sit on their stained chairs. Rooms are dusty and need cleaning. Dr. Billings has kind bedside manner and a good listener. Dr. Billings performed surgery on my wrist that had been painful for several years. She started with conservative therapy that helped for awhile but eventually I needed to have surgery. She explained everything throughly and I had great confidence in her skill. I am now pain free and highly recommend this caring physician. Also, her staff is fantastic.

Dr. Billings preformed a Synovectomy on my rt hand. She did a great job! She's very nice and knows her stuff. My hand is doing great!
I had pain in one thumb she said she could get rid of the pain with and injection. She looked at the other thumb pressed a point on the thumb and it hurt, she said the same could be done as the other thumb. Still have pain in one and a new pain in the other! She also said she could fix my "trigger finger", I called to make an appointment for the surgery 3 times and the phone just rang finally on the third attempt someone answered and said the scheduler was out but would call me soon. 3 weeks later they called and wanted me to go to West LA (I am in Pasadena) for the surgery...I passed and went to a local Dr. who is much better!!
I don't write many reviews but I felt like I needed to leave one here. My husband and son both used Dr. Annette Billings and had a great experience. I had heard about Dr. Billings from several different people and I have kept her name in the back of my head for over a decade. My husband needed surgery on his thumb, we were worried about nerve damage and numbness. We understood the gravity of the surgery and the risks going into it. I remembered what I had heard about Dr. Billings and her meticulous work, especially when it came to reconnecting nerve endings. She did an amazing job and I'm so grateful we sought her out. We were pleased to find out she was covered by our insurance. My son was having issues with his wrist after doing some heavy road biking. We thought it was severe nerve damage(it was over the course of 2 years). She examined it and told him what to do. He followed her instructions carefully and his wrist healed, he was able to avoid surgery. She is honest and talented!
Dr Billings has always been caring, punctual and professional. Very engaging and listens well. I really enjoy my visits with her. Alvin L Ontario CA
Worse doctor ever!!! She don’t care about how you feeling or what you have to say, she’s a horrible doctor after my hand surgery she pushed me to go back to work in pain!! DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR..
When scheduling the appointment they asked all question about insurance. She told me they accept my insurance after checking my policy. When arrived had to proof all my insurance documents. Then after visit they charged me the copay according to my insurance coverage. However. After a couple of weeks I get the full bill of 309$. Called the office and they told me they don’t accept any insurance. Tried to reached out directly to dr Billings to verify if she knows how’s the clinic operate with bad practice and scamming patients. Been ignored twice. I do not recommend this clinic. My appointment was early. She came in didn't bother introducing herself, didn't even bother with a "good morning" or "how are you." She grabbed my arm, tried to push it and I told her "that hurts." She told me surgery wasn't going to fix it. The only thing I could do is take Ibuprofen....then left. I had a Dr. Appt with my primary and requested that she write a letter for the record. Reading the letter angered me, she totally fabricated the whole appointment. She stated that she made me do several exercises to measure how extensive my injury was. She never once asked me how I injured my arm or why I was there. She only asked what hurt and how often then suggested that I take medicine for the pain.

Dr. Billings performed two surgeries on my hands - first the right and then the left. She was always warm and friendly. She listened to what I had to say and answered all my questions. These two surgeries ended years of pain and debilitation. My hands work better than they have in years. These surgeries were performed 11 and 12 years ago and my hands are still in excellent shape and not causing me any pain.
I arrived for a 10:00 appointment. So did 3 other patients, according to the sign-in sheet. I asked if she always booked her patients this way, and the person at the desk said yes. The wait was an hour. The waiting room was jammed and unpleasant. This is like going to a slaughterhouse in terms of patient experience. Dr. Billings was fine, I guess, if you catch her at a time when she’s not triple-booked.
She's an amazing surgeon with a great bedside manner. I'm glad I found her.
- Is it ever appropriate to *not* tell someone a *single thing* about how to care for wearing a new cast for the first time in their life? - Or, to blatantly, relentlessly, humiliate a nurse in front of a patient? This begrudging God complex that US doctors are getting is becoming insane... Here's my appointment, nearly verbatim to the best of my memory: Me: (gets off phone, roughly 3 second process) - "Okay the doctors here I gotta go, bye babe. Hi doctor." Billings: "So whats going on wi
she is such a kind, caring dr. who is very concerned about your problems with hands and does a wonderful job of taking care of you. very trustworthy and explains in simple terms what she is going to do and how it will be done. i have complete confidence in her without any doubts at all. KEEP UP YOUR GOOD WORK AND THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Was reffered by my dr. To dr. Billings an ortho surgeon that has done a great in repairing a torn tendon in my hand . She was on it with a caring attitude. Very greatfull for a pleasant surgery and healing process . Thank you for youe expetise dr. Billings!!!
I waited 56 minutes from the scheduled time of my appointment. When Dr Billings came in she was very apologetic. In the five minutes to spend with her I found her to be not forthcoming with information. She was also very condescending.

Dr. Billings is nice enough, but as with many doctors, was only with me 5-10 minutes. She ordered an x-ray, after which she said my thumb ligament was torn and a small chunk of bone came off my joint when it happened. This sounded very strange given I didn't recall any major force to my thumb joint. After a second opinion, turns out I have a bone spur in the joint and that was causing my joint discomfort. I was injected with an anti-inflammatory and I'm basically good as new.

I have been very impressed with Dr Billings...competent...caring...professional...takes time to see you as a real person...not in a rush...i am very happy with the care and treatment i received for my hand/finger injury...
Dr. Billings is kind, patient and competent. She listens empathetically to her patient. Only complaint is with office which is severely overbooked and/or understaffed. All waiting room chairs are full with some patients having to stand to wait. There is only one person manning the front desk and she seems to be overwhelmed. Waiting room time was over 45 minutes. Exam room time only about 10 minutes. There should be a better method to keep patients moving in and out of the office.

My name is Michelle I was referred to Dr.A.Billings by my Doctor R. Zapata. I had been in pain for almost 2yrs of my left hand and lost 65% of my muscle in my hand & arm.I had gone to 3 other specialist and no one had found what was wrong with me even tho I complained about the pain. Went to her with xrays that we takin by the hospital MLK. They said that the pain would go away and just gave me medication. So seek for other opinions and finally came to Dr. Billings she just looked at my hand and the x-ray told me right away what was wrong with me went ahead to schedule for surgery. Dr. Billing is a amazing lady. Since the surgery my hand feels so much better, I can move it again.:o) I can now start to carrying my baby..
