Dr. Katz is one of the best in her field. She’s knowledgeable, compassionate and wants only the best for her patients. She is honest and caring. When diagnosed with breast cancer she moved swiftly to get me into surgery and held my hand along the way. When making tough decisions I could count on her to be there for me and I trusted her guidance. She was there every step of the way for me and my family. She introduced me to an amazing plastic surgeon colleague and the outcome is better than I ever could have imagined. During the darkest hours she was a light and because of her amazing skills I am healthy and feeling great! Beyond grateful!

Dr. Katz cares so much about her patients. She is so thorough in her treatment. She is involved and refers you to other specialists when needed. Her support goes beyond just treating you. I highly recommend her.

Dr.Katz is very determined to save her patients at all cost. I was shocked to hear I needed a mastectomy but that was the best solution to save my life. She referred an oncologist and I have been extremely satisfied with my care. What I do appreciate is that Dr. Katz is direct and does not sugar coat anything. Dr. Katz is a God sent angel for her patients. She is very caring, warm and comforting at the time of a real crisis. Dr. Katz operated upon me few months ago and though I was very nervous about undergoing a major surgical procedure, she assured me that I will come out on the other side feeling great. Dr. Katz makes you feel as if you are her only patient. She is extremely warm and caring. She'll spend as much time with you as you need. Her knowledge of research and the way she explains to you what and why of your disease assures you that you are getting the best treatment. She also refers you to any other doctor you will need. She even gives you her cell phone number. She offers such comfort in these stressful situations and you know you will be okay under her care. I can't stress enough what a fantastic doctor she is.

One of the things I look for in a doctor is a connection and the relationship I have built with Dr. Katz is one that I not only appreciate as a patient but more importantly, one that I value as a woman. Roughly ten months ago I was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer; hearing those words turned my world completely off kilter -- I have always been the 'strong' one, the one that held it together, took care of the 'troops' and kept things moving forward, but this? This grabbed hold of me and shook me to my core - what do I do now? Who is the best oncologist? What are my options? Who coordinates chemo? Radiation? Death? Life? Statistics? Endless, endless, endless questions -- each one being patiently answered by Dr. Katz. Being part of the Dr. Katz family now (at least that is how I think about it) I am treated with respect, compassion and encouragement. Dr. Katz understands the fears, she understands being a 'woman' and how information processes differently for each of us... she is the advocate a patient needs to navigate the unyielding layers of being that 'cancer patient'. You will not find a more tender spirit, more knowledgeable team or a bigger advocate for your arsenal. My oncologist had told me early on in my treatment that I had been part of 'tumor talk' that week and that he had specifically talked with Dr. Katz about me that morning -- I liked that I was part of some 'tumor talk' - it means I have a team working on getting me healthy. I also like the fact that for Dr. Katz I am not just a 'tumor' -- she knows me by name and for that, I am honored to be one of her patients. I highly recommend and have recommended her to others.
