Dr. Anjana Sahani Panjwani

She was my anesthesiologist for my recent foot surgery.I was scared to go thru with it because during my last surgery that dr couldn't insert a tube properly because I couldn't open my mouth wide enough for him to see properly. I couldn't open wide enough because I have scleroderma. When I was intubated my throat got so scratched up it hurt me for three days after surgery. Every swallow I was in pain. I told Dr Panjwani my concerns and she said thank you for telling me I will be extra careful for you and I will use a smaller tube if necessary. She took the time to listen to me and she treated me like she understood my concern. She did not brush me off like most doctors do. She was awesome!!!!!! She made me feel at ease and comfortable at a concerning time for me. I appreciated her concern and willingness to listen to me. Awesome DOCTOR!!!!!!
