Took my youngest son to be eval. For his chronic allergies , nasal congestion and mouth breathing. During Covid it was a strain to be assessed and eval even for my children’s yearly checkup at her clinic . When I finally took him him in, Machorro immediately was aggressive saying it had been approx 13 months since his last check up. I then told her that with Covid, working a full time job, it was hard even being able to get an appointment. During assessing my child, she asked what allergy relief medications I’ve tried. My answers were saline sprays, OTC Zyrtec and Benadryl . Her response once again was demeaning, aggressive in her tone saying “no no you don’t treat with that.” Now instead of feeling open on my end and wanting education and advise oh how to help my child, i felt like we were a bother, her tone was belittling ,I felt extremely disappointed with the appointment. She ended the appointment saying to try Flonase and follow up in one month. I went to Walgreens. I ended up buying Astepro spray which is a non steroid, tried that for seven days I found no change or relief, so I switched to Flonase and tried that for about 15 days until we followed up with her for the 1 month. I initially tried astepro as the warning label on Flonase reports “may stunt growth”. As any mother I was very cautious to give my child any medication that may hurt him in long or short term route. My son is only 8 years old. Machorro never mentioned these adverse effects with Flonase, never offered any advice. Her whole demeanor and patient /parent approach was so condescending and belittling, as a parent it felt like a shaming event when the approach should be compassionate and offer education. Fast forward to now a month for the follow up, upon entering the room she immediately starts with “what’s the problem” . Not even a welcome or how patient is feeling today. This time my husband was in the office to witness everything. She interrupted almost every part of the conversation when we tried to explain what are concerns were starting Flonase , the stunt growth warning label, and what progress we have seen . Once again, she was belittling in every aspect of this appointment when we were trying to address and combat his allergies. That day we removed her from services and now have chosen another pediatrician closer to home on the west side. This is her private practice, her professionalism is what builds respect and trust and a good rapport with family and patients. I do not recommend her practice

Dr. Machorro is a great pediatrician! She doesn’t give you the runaround she explains everything to the point. She’s been my kids doctor for 12 years and she’s been wonderful! I was in Las Cruces for 10 years and I would drive from over there just to bring my kids with her that’s how much I trust her. She has always been there for my kids which I greatly appreciate. Dr. Machorro is wonderful. She has always been helpful and accommodating when we need assistance for my daughter. She is also very thorough, which we greatly appreciate.

I have two daughters and both since they were born are under her care the oldest have is 8 years old, whenever we go to consultation she takes the necessary time to review them in detail and professionally, when we need references for other services she helps us finding the right specialist, her work staff always willing to help and take care of my daughters, I recommended 100% my family is grateful for her dedication. Dr. Machorro was our pediatrician for over 10 years. My youngest children just aged out, I am going to feel lost with out her. She was an excellent doctor, very professional, always willing to help us with any issues. She had very good communication with all my 3 children, they felt very comfortable with her. I have had no issues so far with Dr. Ibarra nor Dr. Machorro. It's the people at the front desk who do not acknowledge your presence. Parking lot needs work.

Worst pediatrician we’ve ever had. She was too busy to see my daughter. Her meeting was more important than seeing my sick daughter. She is argumentative. She couldn’t even send Tylenol to the pharmacy. She didn’t even care to send medication refills, which were meds my daughter was already on. The staff at her office act like they know it all. Dr. Machorro is amazing! Her recommendations and advice on potty training, getting your child to sleep all night, weaning off breastfeeding etc have all worked and have been spot on! Shes great with our children and even helped our oldest daughter get over her fear of Drs visits from her previous pediatrician. The staff is wonderful. Clara and Liz are awesome. On those busy days, they always work very hard in trying to squeeze us in. The staff makes you feel like part of the family always greeting you with a smile. There always so nice and remembering our kids names goes a long way in calming our children and making it stress free. One of the most impressive things is the lack of wait time! I know the Dr makes it a point to get all the patients to the back quickly so your never having to wait long at all! Thank you Sun City Kidz clinic for the hard work and great service. I recommend you make an appt today! I've had other pediatricians who have you waiting there in the waiting room forever, rush you through the visit, or are never available for an appt. At Sun City Kidz clinic they work to schedule you right away, get you to the Dr quickly, and once your there Dr Machorro is wonderful and her diagnoses/advice/experiences are spot on! Awesome Dr! Shes so friendly & explains everything. I have no complaints at all whatsoever with her. I live in the far east & will continue to drive to the west side just to keep her as my children's Dr.

Excellent doctor I recommend her to new parents that don't know which pediatrician to choose she is really good.

She is an AWFUL doctor!!! she is rude, she talks down to the patients and to her OWN STAFF!!!! She discriminates people just for the way they look! I DON'T RECOMMEND HER AT ALL!!
