Dr. Aneel Arjun Ashrani

Dr. Ashrani is an incredibly kind, caring and intelligent doctor. Like a real-life "Dr. House," Dr. Ashrani diagnosed me with a rare genetic bleeding condition that had been missed for 34 years! I've been lucky to be his patient for 4+ years. Dr. AShrani is responsive and always remembers me. Over the years, Dr. Ashrani and I have had to have some difficult and uncomfortable conversations about my treatment and care. Throughout all of these discussions, he has listened and worked collaboratively with me to create a treatment plan we were both comfortable with. Whenever I've had medical complications, he has been there for me. Additionally, he has also advocated for me to get into other Mayo specialists who have been equally fantastic. Dr. Ashrani embodies what makes Mayo Clinic so special, he truly puts the needs of the patient first. I've seen the kindness he shows towards his patients, extended to how he treats the residents and fellows on his team and his staff. 5 stars!

Spend a lot of time waiting. Service for the department is poor. Doctor lacks competence and ability to look a big picture. Not the type of care I’d expect from such a faculty and facility that considers themselves amongst the best. Wouldn’t recommend this provider to my family or friends, you come back sicker and poor.
