I Dr. Thomas and his team fix a torn bicep tendon for me in the past for a Worker’s Comp injury. The operation went perfectly with no problems. Currently I had a different problem with my right hand where I was getting ulcers on my last two fingers that weren’t healing. I went to my family doctor not knowing what was causing the problem. He didn’t know so He gave me antibiotics. These didn’t help so I went back. All the while my fingers had gotten worse. He then set me up for a nerve test and an appointment with an orthopedic doctor. They never contacted me for the test and when I saw the orthopedic doctor, he didn’t know and set me up for another test. They never called me to set up a test. At this point I was becoming worried I would lose my fingers. It had been 6 weeks since I first went in with this.They wanted a review and I honestly told them how I felt about this and they called me the next day to set the test up (which was the wrong test) but they couldn’t do it until July 22. At that point I canceled and went back to Summit and saw Dr. Thomas. He looked at my hand an knew almost immediately what was wrong and ordered the correct test. They got me scheduled for the test and a pre-operation visit and the surgery in slightly more than 2 weeks. Everything started healing 1 day after surgery. Dr. Thomas and his entire team are simply incredible. I feel they saved my fingers. I hope I won’t have any other issues with my arms but if I do I’ll go straight to Dr. Thomas and his team. I will eventually need to have my knees redone. From what I hear about that Doctor, he’s as good as Dr. Thomas. Basically Summit Orthopedics has basically guaranteed themselves they are the place I’ll go for any Orthopedic work. Dr. Thomas did surgery on my elbow the same one he did 10 years ago but I reinjured it was a wonderful experience I don't think I would go see another surgeon except him, both times after recovery it felt like new.

Dr. Thomas and all of those associated with him are pleasant, respectful, and professional. I appreciated that he listened to my concerns, offered solutions, and let me choose what I thought would best work for my particular issues.

I felt Dr. Thomas gave me his full attention during my appointment. He was clear with his communication when discussing what was wrong and the plan going forward. I felt Dr. Thomas listened to my concerns of my pain and other information like what caused it. I did not feel rushed.

Dr.Thomas and his PA Scott are very caring professionals that go the extra mile to care for your needs. I am very happy with the care they have provided for me.

Most important to me is Dr. Thomas and team's ability to diagnose and deliver a solution in simple terms. I've had 2 procedures with these folks and both solved the problem(s) for me! Highly recommend...

My visit was about as perfect as you can get for a medical appointment. Arrived a bit early and signed in, was called in within minutes, Dr. Thomas was personable and kind, and the procedure was done efficiently and I was released quickly, couldn't ask for more.

Dr. Thomas arrived to the office one hour late for my appointment with no apology, saying he had "been on call for 4 days." He made me wait, and proceeded to treat me rudely. When I asked him the risks of performing surgery on my finger, he responded cynically :"...not many...but I suppose you could get an infection and lose your finger." I have never experienced such an attitude and rudeness from a Dr. I will never see him again.

I just want to give a shout out to Dr. Thomas and his PA, Scott Folland. They are an absolutely great team and I could not have gone to anyone better. Dr. Thomas was the third doctor I saw. His knowledge allowed me to have the least invasive surgery possible so the recovery time is much shorter. Job well done, Dr. Thomas and PA Folland

Rude, condescending injecting happy surgeon. I developed carpal tunnel during pregnancy. After delivery & 2 acupuncture appt, my symptoms lingered for 5 weeks and thought I should try physical therapy. Dr Thomas told me only a steroid injection would help. I explained that I wasn’t interested in that (I’m an ER nurse and have seen poor side effects from steroid injections). He told me, “You could smell some lavender or wave a magic crystal over it but it doesn’t matter. The injection will help.”
