He takes his time to discuss what’s going on. He is very matter of fact, but kind and understanding. I was surprised he went through everything on my bloodwork and explained it to me without making me feel dumb. I’m impressed!

Dr. Sohn is a through, caring rheumatologist. He listens to his patients and gives great advice. Him and his staff take excellent care of me! I highly recommend Dr. Andrew Sohn.

Dr. Sohn really cares for his patients and goes out of his way to make sure you're getting the best treatment for your condition. He'll look for patient assistance to help cover those outrageous costs for some medication. He takes your concerns into consideration and doesn't make you feel stupid for asking lots of questions. Referral took weeks to process then got an appointment quickly. He tried to leave before answering my questions, ordered tests and I have phoned the office a couple times a week for 6 weeks for results. 1 return call, he hung up when I answered. Initially asked question when referral was submitted and no mention of not accepting new patients. Get the referral approved and call and then find out that they are not accepting news patients and had to find almost three weeks after initial call. Referral was made for a potentially life shortening condition. The not accepting new patients policy either occurred recently or is a arbitrary/meritless policy that is dictated by the front desk (based off the question that was asked on “which insurance provider I use”, after I answered was immediately followed up by “we are not accepting new patients”. I really like Dr. Sohn. He is very easy to talk to and he explains things clearly. He has made me feel better about my situation and confident he will help me.

The receptionist was talking on the phone and never acknowledged we were waiting to be checked in. After fifteen minutes of talking and laughing on the phone; she asked if we were waiting to check in. There weren't many chairs to wait in and a very crowded room; so we were standing at the counter. She finished her conversation and handed me a piece of paper and asked if I was paying my copay. Pretty unprofessional and rude. The office smelled like the plumbing was backed up. Tried to schedule an appointment with staff. Receptionist was abusive and argumentative.

Receptionist is VERY rude. Will be looking for a new RA doctor. I dread calling or going into the office because the receptionist is ignorant..not a good experience and not the first person you want to deal with when you’re in a ton of pain.

I have been a patient of Dr Sohn for about 6 years. He has always been very compassionate and listened to all my concerns. He explains all options for treatment thoroughly. He is very kind and has great bedside manner. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a rheumatologist.

Always in a rush. Condescending to patients. Office visit never more than 5-10mins but bills $200-$300. Is rude and abrupt.

So far, I'm not impressed. After waiting three weeks for an appointment, we were given an address that was located inside Providence Hospital. When we arrived 30 min before the appointment, we were told he had moved to this location in Hoyt. We got back in the car and drove to the new location, arrived at the appointment time, but this guy refused to see us because it'd take too long to fill out paperwork; paperwork that we were unaware of and had been sent to the wrong address. The staff blames us and the referring MD for arriving at the wrong place, without the paperwork. Therefore, there is no compromise in scheduling. Another day must be taken off work to see him. Dr Sohn spends time with each visit and is very thorough.

Great doctor, very knowledgeable & great bedside manner: Listens and doesn't rush you. I couldn't afford a follow up visit & he actually told me he wouldn't charge me the $50 copay!

He is not located here any longer. We were not informed of this and when we did find him on Hoyt, he refused to see us. Poor customer service!

Dr. Sohn listens carefully regarding my symptoms and issues I have. He accurately diagnosed my problem although the presentation was unusual. He spent enough time discussing possible treatments and their side-effects giving me clear overall pictures of how we will manage RA. From my interaction with him, I can tell he deeply cares about my overall health and quality of life. Since the initial diagnose and follow up treatments, my pain has significantly reduced improving the quality of my life.

I was very happy with my first appointment with Dr. Sohn, he took his time with me and answered questions I had and was very nice and patient. I now see him in Oak Harbor,WA. I would highly recommend him.

Yes, I definitely would recommend Dr. Sohn. He really listens to me (the patient) and gives me the time I need to explain my health issues. Dr. Sohn is very knowledgeable in Rheumatology and all the new medicines and other techniques. If you ever have questions about his recommendations or type of treatments he always will take the time to answer them all until you're satisfied.

DR Sohn found out that i had P.M.R.,and put me on predzone and it made a big improvment ,nobody else could get it figured out,they tried hydrocodone,morphine,percadan,and non of those worked,then DR Sohn saw me and saved my pain,WAY TO GO DR SOHN !!!!!!
