I have been working Dr Liefer for years managing my anxiety and depression. Resulting from ptsd. With a past in addiction/alcoholism. Doc has brought me through a couple of years to a very comfortable and livable life, (thank you kind sir). I have found Doctor not only be a mental health consultant, but a caring and kind human. I was diagnosed with a life threating illness on top of all this he calls and keeps in touch constantly with no regard for reimbursement, who does that? To have invested the time and money in the treatment I have received was so worth the quality of life I now have it was a long road and I am glad I stuck it out.

Our family has had a few psychiatrists over the years, and I would definitely rate Dr. Leifer at the top. I appreciate the way he reaches out to me as mom of a young adult patient, returns calls quickly, is willing to talk through things before diagnosing, values my input and my son's, and is very thoughtful and thorough with his diagnosis and explanations. He also goes out of his way to make himself available, is patient, and truly cares about the lives of his patients. I would definitely recommend him to friends.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Leifer values money above all else. You will sense it from the incredible amount of conditions you must pay before he will schedule an appointment. IF he returns your call. His attitude toward your payment more than your health is prominent at every contact. He should be embarrassed to be a human much less a doctor.
