My experience was excellent best doctor ever. Sacrificed his vacation time to save my life in surgery. Follow ups were great, told me what to eat & what not to eat. Why he’s no longer in Berkeley Heights, nobody seems to know Or they won’t say. Here’s some of responses I received. “Oh didn’t he move to Europe?”, “I heard he married a stripper”, “don’t know what happened he was the best doctor” “He didn’t get along with management”, “They were envious of him cause he was so handsome”, etc. SO WHERE IS DR. GUMBS?

What kind of surgeon would leave his group abruptly and surrender his license back to the state? Answer: A shady one !

He was wonderful. But I can not find him!

Dr Gumbs saved me after 5 years of agony. Surgeons like him are truly amazing!

Did not have a good experience with this doctor was sent to him for a suspected hernia , his exam left me in pain for a week and subsequent complaints about the area in question , he stated there is no hernia so I can’t help you , I guess if they aren’t the ones making money off you they don’t care to help you get to the bottom of the problem , so I left his office in pain and ended up in the emergency room and hospital for one week .

I had an ulcer burst and went septic. I spent 4 months at Overlook. Dr. Gumbs and Dr. Nastro saved my life. AWESOME DOESN'T EVEN BEGIN TO COVER IT!
