Andrew Berggren

I saw Dr. Berggren on a routine office visit and while reviewing my medications, he took the liberty to remove several medications that were non-heart related. He never discussed their deletion with me he just deleted them and said not a word to me. He removed Viagra and testosterone which had been prescribed by another doctor in his group. After my office visit, I discovered online that they were missing. I made many calls to his office about the deletions and the problem was completely ignored. My appointment was on a Thursday and I called his office that very day upon realizing these medications had been deleted and there was no return call to me from his office about my concern. I called them again on Friday and the following Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with no resolve. They were rude. I was being Totally ignored! I looked online at my medication portal for Baylor Scott and White and my medications were no longer there. Deleted. No big deal from their perspective, they don’t make mistakes. That was their total attitude. These were medications prescribed by another doctor. It took years for me to establish these medications through testing and with a few clicks from his mighty keyboard, he deleted them all. Afterwards, every call I made to his office about the problem was met by a surly nurse who was protecting him in every rude way possible, saying I had ask him to delete the medications. Why would I have him delete the very medications I worked so hard to get? These were the medications that give me quality-of-life and he wiped them out with no apology. He would not speak with me on the phone and refused to restore to my chart. I would never recommend anyone to go to this doctor. So, you have been warned! Best Cardiologist and staff in the DFW area. Fantastic bedside manner, caring, compassionate, understanding and knowledgeable. Staff is also fast, compassionate and knowledgeable.

Dr. Berggren and all of his associates at Texas Cardiology are the best people to trust the care of your heart. They take care of Charles and I, plus our four times transplant patient with a pacer. Their care, knowledge, and Proficiency is unequaled. Thanks to each and every one of you for the years of fabulous care.

Dr. Berggren is friendly, courteous, and extremely professional. He has brought me out A-Fib twice and quickly diagnosed my bout of pericarditis and solved that problem with no further complications. He asks good questions and wastes no time. If followup is needed, his team gets it scheduled right away. Most importantly, my wife and I trust him and his staff. If someone is seeking a primary cardiologist and/or a second opinion, I would strongly Dr. Andrew Berggren

Dr. Berggren is ine of the best physicians we have ever met. Very personable, professional and capable. His staff is also efficient and caring. No complaints after 10+ years of care.

He has what I call good bedside manner..he cares about his patients and answers your questions ..explains everything to you

We tried to set up an appointment after my father had a stoke and only had Ned's for 10 days but the office said that he wouldn't be able to get in until September and this is August 15th. The lady on the phone was not sympathetic.

He is a wonderful, knowledgeable physician. He listens when you talk to him and has never "talked down" to me or friends that have gone to him. I recommend him highly!
