Dr Brauer fixed my back after an auto accident. Could not get better care. He explained what my options were and did an excellent job.
One star because sadly I can’t give zero stars. I came in with a newly diagnosed tumor. Very scary and and unsure about the process. I saw Dr Bauer for a total of 5-10 minutes (I understand they’re busy). I was given some thoughts about options and was told that he was going to refer my case to another doctor. I heard absolutely nothing from anyone for two weeks. I called in to check on the status and the person answering the phone was short with me. She said in the notes that orders were for a follow up image in 6 months. She also stated that in the notes it said the Dr said I had been told that. I had not. I have not received a single call from any of them. I’m a human being who was sitting worried about this kind of diagnosis and they could not take the time to call or make sure I understood and was comfortable with the next steps or answer any questions I might have. It’s unprofessional and definitely cold. I expected so much better from OU. So now I’ll be searching for somewhere else to look at my case that may perhaps treat me with the respect a patient deserves. One star because sadly I can’t give zero stars.
