***********Alert*****Alert***** No communication at all, no department communicates between no one, no answer phone lines, no return calls, it took me a few days to get me another primary care physician. I would not recommend no person for this facility for help for yourself or family!!!! Please stop and read before the headache comes in. I want you to not go through what I did. They don't deserve a one star.

Just had my first appointment with Dr. Maddux. He was super attentive and took his time with me. 10/10 felt comfortable and heard.

I have been going to Dr Maddux for 3 years. Never had a problem until today. Appointment was made in March for telemed, which the receptionist did not know that Dr maddux didn’t do anymore. Called the next day to make another appointment which is 3 weeks away. I need prescriptions filled and tried to explain to Natalie the nurse about the confusion with my appointment. She goes on to say well it’s not all on the receptionist, you had an appointment in December so we can’t fill your prescriptions. By this time I’m mad, because I don’t need you sticking up for your incompetent receptionist, I need you to do your job and ask the Dr will he refill my prescriptions until my appointment. I don’t understand people at all. You may have worked there for a while BUT you are not the Doctor. People like Natalie will make the practice lose patients because of her attitude, and the Doctor has no clue what happened because they will lie. I loved Dr Maddux but his staff Is terrible. I was late for my appointment my last vist ,i thought it was an hour later than it actually were and when i got there they were very worried that something had happened to me. Dr. Muddux is very kind and soft spoken.and caring.about you and your situation l love them

Dr. Maddux, has been my doctor for years, he’s very sharp! And you can tell he loves what he does.

He has been my doctor for many years. He has helped me through many illness and cares deeply about his patients. He was my father's doctor prior to being mine and my whole family's.

He’s been my primary for 22 years. Excellent bedside manner. Listens with concern and remembers your issues. Very understanding and compassionate. Completely thorough. I wouldn’t use anyone else.

I have been a patient of Dr. Andy Maddux for close to 4 years now and I cannot think of a better Dr. in my 42 years of life. The Man’s heart is as big as a Bus. He geniunely loves his patients and loves treating them. Any negative review here would have to be due to that individuals own hang ups and negative energy they exude. Simply The BEST!!! Dr. Maddux is an awesome doctor! He is smart and committed to providing excellent care for his patients. He stays up to date and ahead of many of his peers by attending medical conferences that provide the latest research and information. He takes great care of my mom and dad. They are in excellent health in their 80's because of his care. I highly recommend him!

I have too many stories to list on a google review but I will tell you Dr Maddox' only concern is getting you in and out of his office in the quickest amount of time. He couldn't be bothered with your questions about your illness. I requested a simple letter from him for my insurance company so that I could remain covered. He had 2 months to draft this two sentence letter and he never did it causing me to lose coverage. My complaint to him about this resulted in him drafting a letter to me stating he'd no longer be able to see me, my mother, or my grandmother. A real class act. Dr. Maddux has treated my mother and I for many years. His bedside manner is wonderful and he is very thorough. I highly recommend using Dr. Maddux if you are in need of a primary care physician!

My wife was referred to Dr. Maddux by my GP. Upon arriving in the office, we completed the forms necessary, presented my wife's drivers license and BCBS Insurance card, paid the co-pay, and sat back to wait for the nurse to call. I did not give my SS Number on the form since we have had our identity stolen before, but all else was filled out on the forms. The receptionist, after reviewing the forms, handed it back and told me to fill in the SSN. I told her of my experience and asked why she needed this number to which she replied, "She does not make the rules, the Federal government does". "If you don't fill in this number, we can't treat you". To which I replied, I have other doctors who do not require this info and have treated us fine for many years and you should be no different since it is not relevant at all to my wife's medical treatment. She then said again that they would not treat my wife and handed back my co-pay which she had already put up and gave me a receipt. She asked for the receipt back and my wife and I then left the office without seeing this doctor. I am very disappointed at this service. Our tax and social security number is not relevant since my wife has her our own insurance policy and is not on medicare or any other government help. It seems that a drivers license and insurance card should suffice for the service. This policy cannot stand! We will find another doctors office with some common sense and share this instance with all who care about our rights! My wife was referred to Dr. Maddux by my GP. Of all the different factors you could share in a review of a physician, the only one that REALLY matters to me is an accurate diagnosis, treatment that worked, and those kinds of issues. The other things might be nice pluses, but definitely not the deciding factor for me! Dr. Maddux is very thorough, very skilled and knowledgeable. He's been our family physician for over 15 years, and we wouldn't go forward with any serious problem without him on board. We take our "colds and flu" to a doctor close by, but for serious stuff, we drive an hour to see Dr. Maddux. It's well worth the time and gas! For those reasons, we highly recommend him!
